I'm pretty sure they typically can't use pieces from CMFs in normal sets anyway. Besides, that head mold's mouth is way too big to be accurate for Hammond. I'd rather see a totally new mold.

Oh, I just noticed something on the box art of the Wyld Mayhem Fighter. It's actually a bomber! The central cockpit area, where the pictures show you loading in Stars, has a function that drops the Stars out below. It's awesome!

Speaking of the FS flags/scrolls, why are there three? There's one that's obviously Fire, for the snakes, and one that's ice, for the samurai. But there's a third that looks like it's Earth themed. Why?

Don't forget, those stickered fins on the ends of the wings are identical to the Systar Spaceship. So at least some of the parts from Mayhem's old ship are necessarily part of it. But it's a gorgeous set all the same. I plan to get at least three and start building up a Systar Fleet. If this wave follows the trend set by the first two of getting significantly discounted after only a short while on shelves (I've seen Big W selling the Party Bus for less than 60% of RRP, so when I have some spare cash I'm getting it) them it should be simple enough.

I really hope it's a scaled-up Mech for a minifigure like D.Va and Reinhardt, and not a big sculpture like Bastion. But man, Wrecking Ball? That's unexpected. And awesome. Can't wait to see Hammond in minifigure form. Is there any chance of a second hero included in the set? Maybe Sombra or Doomfist? I really want to see more Talon agents.

I looked on Bricklink a couple of days ago and noticed a couple of reasonable-looking prices from overseas. I was hoping to find the Dropship on sale somewhere because EOFY, but look on Bricklink before you pull the trigger on S@H.

What the actual hell, Lego? I want that set, I want that suit, I want it so much. You'd better have some kind of alternate distribution event, though, or I'm going to the figure customisers. {sighs} I will never understand why they pull crap like this. It is literally the same minifigure but with teal instead of red printing, could that really have been so expensive that they couldn't put it in a proper set?

The sets sound interesting. That's a suspiciously low price for an A-Wing, compared to both the last one and this year's Juniors - ah, 4+ A-Wing. I also want to see both Kylo Ren's Shuttle and the Falcon, and the turret/battle pack might be neat. Speaking of Battle Packs, I still can't find the 20th Anniversary Imperial Dropship anywhere in Australia. Does anyone know where to find it or why I can't?

Wasn't it originally rumoured that these six sets of waves 2 and 3 were originally going to be one wave? I think it might be that these three sets aren't being released at the time of Wave 2, and the Palace, Spa and Couch Mech were supposed to be released at the same time. But after TLM2 did poorly at box office, they pushed them up to release at the same time as the Toy Story and Spider-Man sets to renew interest and ensure that their market - children - weren't so enamoured by the more familiar IPs that they forgot The Lego Movie 2 was even a thing. In which case there'd still be a third planned wave. Just a theory.

Personally, I'd do it the other way; have the Starfighter be the 'fleet' and the Systar Spaceship be the elite fighter. Might just do that, actually. If they put the Starfighter on a good discount (which they've done with a lot of the movie sets at various stores so I'm hopeful} it could be really cool to get, say, three of them and suspend them and Mayhem's ship above my city as a fleet. That would also allow for interpreting the Party Bus as a non-combatant, diplomatic vehicle. Yeah, I like where this is going. 100% on board with a Harmony Town set, too.

I don't have the Party Bus at present, only the Systar Spaceship (after seeing how small a role in the movie the Bus had, I lost a lot of interest, but a lot of retailers are putting it on increasingly generously discounts in my area so I might get it after all.) but you have a point. And MOCs? Do you have pictures?

I'm not sure that can really be classified as properly Systar themed, with Wyldstyle's black covering a lot of it. Though I suppose it would be simple enough to replace the visible black with more white and maybe strip out the blue and then it'd look pretty appropriate. Interesting thing I noticed, though; the hybrid ships are supposed ro be hodgepodges made of parts left over after everything was broken, right? The designs on the parts at the end of the wings are exactly the same as the fins on Sweet Mayhem's Systar Spaceship. Same part, same sticker. It's a really nice way to emphasise that this ship was made using parts from Mayhem's old ship.

I'm sure I remember then being smaller . . I'm certain I saw something somewhere that was just a raptor with brick-built wings attached where it's arms were supposed to be. Like in the alternate builds of the Off-Roader.

I already have the Off-roader, actually. But thanks, I'll consider it. Honestly, my main thought about prioritising the Rexcelsior was stripping out most of the nanoscale stuff and hollowing it out to build up minifigure-scale dis/play areas. I do enjoy playing with my toys sometimes, just as much as display, though. There's just something about the Rexplorer's shaping that bothers me . . also I want to use some of the interior space of the Rexcelsior as a 'garage' for the Off-roader. (Side note, I also have Rex's spacesuit from Emmet's Dream House, and I've altered the hollow underside of the Off-roader to be a storage space for the suit. It fits perfectly in the empty space and I know exactly where it is if/when I need it.) As far as 'the best Emmet' goes, I'm pretty sure that Stubble Trouble Emmet is also going to be in that Wyldstyle/Mayhem spaceship set. So really the figures barely factor into it. I'll admit that having more full-sized raptors would be good, though . .

Yeah, but I don't plan on getting the Rexplorer, just the Rextreme Off-roader and Rexcelsior. Limited budget, y'now. Ideally, I'd want to see one more set including Benny and Balthazar's Crystal Spaceship, with a full-sized Rex-Wing to have a dogfight against.

Was it? It's been a couple of months, I'd forgotten. In that case it's a shame they didn't create a variant of the hair-with-goggles piece in the blue and purple colours.

Yay so we're not done after all! I was worried when I saw all the TLM2 sets go on clearance at my local Kmart. As for the sets, Systar Metalbeard is awesome. Is it too much to hope for that Systar Benny might include the new, non-broken Classic Space helmet piece in blue, since I remember his new appearance had the scuffed printing restored and some extra details? Because then the extra details could be erased and the head and legs swapped out for a Blue Classic Spaceman. The Emmet/Lucy one's good too, excellent impulse buy. I'm kinda surprised they did Lucy and Mayhem's ship, I barely even saw it . . I dunno. It doesn't look all that great to me personally, but I'll reserve judgement until I see it close up. But does it really include another Stubble Trouble Emmet? That would be a weird move because then the only thing exclusive to the Rexcelsior would be the grey and green baby dinos. Also, they couldn't have sprung for a Rex-Wing? Still kinda hoping to see Benny and Balthazar's spaceship, but that can be MOCed if necessary. Pretty satisfied overall. Just so long as we get Fox Suit Girl in some future CMF.

Oh wow. That T-Rex actually looks awesome. But yeah this is a flub, definitely not getting it. It's useless for my layout. Sorry Lego, but playing with scale like this always ends badly for people like me who are building city layouts.

So El Fuego's vehicle actually isn't called the Banana Truck like I thought for the last three months? Damnit. And so must wasted potential for puns! Why not Shrimp Shack Snack Attack, or Bus-ter 3000? Interesting to know that the shipwreck is a Shrimp fishing boat. I guess shrimp is Newbury's primary export. Nice bit of worldbuilding!

They're called Ravagers. And yeah, I could definitely see a neo new Village set where, instead of zombies, we get a Pillager, a Vindicator and a Ravager, as well as one or two new Villager designs (plus the obligatory Steve and/or Alex). It would only take three new prints and one new mould (two new printed versions of the Villager torso and one new printed face, one new torso print for the Pillager and one new mould with printing for the Ravager), and they've done that much before. Possibly another new torso print for a Vindicator, but that could be offset by also doing a Woodland Mansion set that would also include a Vindicator. You've seen pictures of the sets? Where?
