  1. Also, looking at the set description the Dolphin Rescue set has who I suspect is a new character called Kacey. Maybe she's in charge of the rescue operation? EDIT: And I've checked the numbers, we're missing 41377. Possibly a retailer exclusive?
  2. Oh yes, the beach rescue subtheme is so much better than the boardwalk theme. I'll have to pass on the big boat, because I just don't have anywhere to put it, but I'll definitely at least consider buying the rest. Especially the lighthouse, that is the first building ever to use Coral as a primary colour and I need that. Even the turtle set would probably be great as a parts pack for adding on to it.
  3. I . . honestly still don't really believe this is happening. But on the off chance it is, then I hope they go the 'house with two fronts, one Normal, one Upside Down' route, as has been mentioned before. I've got an empty space facing the door in my layout, so I really need to fill it with something that looks just as good from the back as the front. Though to be honest I'm not a massive fan of the show, and I might not even get the set even if it is real . . eh, I'll wait and see. Definitely not putting it above the Disney D2C.
  4. So that weird little apparatus in the Batcave with the saws is supposed to be added weapons for Batman? . . Did Batman swap minds with Doc Ock while we weren't looking? Because I thought it was Spider-Man who did that . . XD Other than that, though, the Batcave looks pretty underwhelming. And they seriously built it to work with the Batwing, but not the cycles or Batmobile? Lame.
  5. That can't be all of them, the Italian Restaurant wasn't on that page. The ones that are all look pretty mediocre, though. Nothing exciting about any of them.
  6. The Fairground Poeple Pack is pretty boring, easy pass for me. The Donut shop is good, and I need more little shops for my village so it's a top priority purchase for me as long as it's priced reasonably. But wow, that Fire Chief vehicle - talk about a pleasant surprise! I don't know why they started naming random civilian characters, but that new firefighter chief minifig is extraordinarily distinctive. Which is great! I have a personal rule about making sure that no two firefighters have the same outfit, so 'Freya McCloud' fits the bill perfectly!
  7. I do hope it's the latter. The rest of the set would be somewhat useless to me, and I'm not sure I can justify buying a People Pack for only one of the minifigures. Also, speaking of Neo/Classic Space, I'm trying to build my city a space program and really want that lunar station, but I'm trying to stick to a Classic Space aesthetic (even if I'm about forty years too young to have been around for its heyday). So my initial thought is to strip the orange out of the colour scheme and replace it with blue, so that it at least conforms to a 'later' Classic Space design, with the white and blue instead of grey and blue. Thoughts? Also, looking closer at the lunar station, it looks like it uses several of that new airlock part, which is awesome!
  8. You mean the guy on the rock, holding a flag? I don't see anything Classic Space about him.
  9. Oh wow. The lunar base has a totally new airlock part! I thought the airlock would be just for show since the little cruiser obviously doesn't have any way for the minifig driving to get into the back, but with the airlock part it's actually possible for a different ship to dock at the base! It looks very useful. I wonder if any of the other sets in the line have a similar airlock to make that setup functional?
  10. So it's like Lloyd using Spinjitzu to destroy the temple?
  11. Wow. The new Italian restaurant is gorgeous, it's an absolute must-buy.
  12. Well, that hairpiece only appears in one set other than this. But you're right, that is not exclusive.
  13. That set is brilliant. I thought it sounded good when I expected one tree and one Dementor, plus Harry/Sirius/Patronus. But this is brilliant, it's an absolute must-have. Now let's just hope that the other sets follow suit. (And I'm still hoping for a 12 Grimmauld Place set somewhere down the line!)
  14. I'd love to see Scooby-Doo return, I was in a dark age during the last run of the theme and I'm still kicking myself for missing it.
  15. Wow, they all use Coral. That's surprising. Cool though.
  16. Eh. Agree to disagree. I'll admit the Land Bounty isn't as ugly as the prelim pictures first suggested, but the Movie Bounty set my standards high and it just pales in comparison. You're probably right about the TLM2 connection, though. The multi-part windscreen is, admittedly, cool, but it looks very out of place, IMO. And no, you don't need to convince me about the Mech. It's brilliant.
  17. Wow, the new images make the sets look really good. For most of them, though, it doesn't change my opinion on which ones to get; I'm still seeing the Ice Outpost, Forgotten Emperor's Castle, and Lloyd Mech as the major must-haves, and the Ninja vehicles are . . okay, Cole's bike and Zane's chopper are actually kind of nice-looking, but we have so many Ninja vehicles (I mean, really, I still have Cole's Rock Roader from 2016 and Kai's motorbike from 2012.) that it's reached the point where Ninja vehicles have to be something really special to interest me, like Lloyd's Mech is. And the less said about this iteration of the Bounty, the better. If I get any of those four sets, it'll be for the minifigures. But I've really changed my mind about the Fire Fang. It looks so much better than in the prelim images. I was just going to skip the fire snakes entirely, but I might get this one set because I'm sure I can find a use for a massive statue of a snake. Also, holy moly Akita's cape is gorgeous.
  18. Is this for the orbital space station? Because it looked to me like that only had two modules and a small ship, plus a solar panel array . . three would make it much better, though! Maybe the third's hidden around the back . . .
  19. This is an incredibly gorgeous build. Full props. It's spectacular! I hope you do more like this.
  20. Oh man, that looks awesome! It's a shame I've already put up Lockwood Estate in its normal configuration as a major landmark in my city (I'm using it as a university, the Lockwood Institution of Experimental Sciences) or I'd totally build and display that! The centre part at least, less sold on the 'fence'.
  21. I'll also point out that Winter Soldier was arguably the least family-inclusive MCU movie to date.
  22. You have a point. Next year, I believe there's only going to be two MCU movies? Black Widow and Eternals? I find it hard to imagine more than one or two sets each, if any, about those movies. So either we'll see a bunch more comics/TV series sets (loosely speaking, looking at this year's Spider-Man sets) or, possibly more likely, sets based on Disney+.
  23. Mark 8? Really? Well then. That's a suit we haven't officially gotten, yet. Huh. Kinda surprising . . at least it's not another Mark 43. Does this mean we'll never get an official Mark 8?
  24. This looks interesting, but I'll wait to see the interior and other features before passing judgement, Also, sorry to change the topic but has anyone living in Australia seen the 20th Anniversary Clone Scout Walker or Imperial Dropship? They're the only two sets from this wave I want, but I haven't seen them anywhere. The other sets of the wave have appeared, does anyone know what's going on?
