    I haven’t seen any signs in Australia of poor sales. Whatever that’s worth. But you’re right about the sets; there are a lot of instances I’ve seen across the line where design was compromised to enable features for the app. Going forward, these sets need to stand on their own as playsets with or without the app. The High School’s good in this regard, the AR is peripheral to the set’s functions. Meanwhile the more I look at the Diner, the less appealing it seems. (Though I’ll still probably get it when I see a good sale.)

    It looks dark blue to me, I’d just leave it as dark blue, leave some of the stickers off and replace the trans-orange.

    I only buy directly from LEGO for promotions or exclusives, and even then I sometimes go to the aftermarket. Australian AFOLs just get the short end of the stick way too much.

    Given that it’s a shrimp boat, I would say the Shrimp Shack and Shrimp Boat are matches . . and that you shouldn’t define the sets as being paired.

    I’m only planning on getting the Command Shuttle and the AT-ST from this wave. I wanted some of the others (and admittedly the Y-Wing’s price actually isn’t bad) but they’ve just made the others too expensive. The Speeder Chase in particular. ($89 AUD for a 373-piece set is absolute megablocks.)

    Alternate themed modulars would be awesome, like futuristic, or medieval. I still think it would be great if they did a Harry Potter Modular of 12 Grimmauld Place.

    I’m not a fan of Cheetah, but that might just be that I prefer her newer design. Bumblebee looks gorgeous, though! I think I’ve found the first fig from this series that I definitely want to get.

    This line’s been pretty uninteresting for me so far. Cyborg’s neat, and I might get the original appearance Batman for the Batsuit gallery I’m considering, but I’m not interested in the rest.

    Oh my, these are gorgeous! I definitely want the new four-seater for my city, it’s brilliant! I didn’t expect them to transition to 8-wide stud designs, though. I hope they don’t completely abandon the 6-wide vehicles. 8-wides are all good and well but I do appreciate how compact the familiar 6-wides are.

    So I finally found a good discount on Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter/Interceptor (36% off, yay!) and I actually quite like Kaz. So has anyone come up with a more accurate face to use for him? My first instinct, oddly enough, is a Ninjago Movie Kai face, but obviously that’s yellow, not flesh. Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, I don’t currently have time to trawl through the thread.

    So, I'm in Australia and have been looking for ages for a way to get the Wyld Mayhem for a non-extortionate price, but nada. Not being distributed here has really made it hard to get - it's really sad when the cheapest option is to pay RRP of $80 AUD plus shipping from Shop@Home. Has anyone got any suggestions for me? Should I wait and hope Shop@Home discounts it?

    So, does anyone think it’s likely Lego’s going to do new sets for Rebels anytime soon? Because I’m working on a cross-theme MOC that I’d really like Hera Syndulla and Grand Admiral Thrawn for (the rest of the Rebels crew are less elusive, except Zeb and I don’t really care about him), but they’re . . tricky to get on the aftermarket and I’m wondering if I should bite the bullet and order a couple of knockoff figures on eBay.

    The Juice Bar isn’t in the app? Like, at all? Disappointing. . . I still want it. There’s a bunch of listings on eBay if anyone’s looking for it and doesn’t mind the mark-up. (Better than buying enough to register the promo on Shop@Home, since it’s so easy to get most sets discounted if you know where to look - just this past week I got Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter for 36% off and Rex’s Rexplorer for about 60% off!)

    I think this is still Year 1. Remember Chima? ‘Year 3’ was 2HY 2014 and 1HY 2015. I think ‘Year 2’ of Hidden Side won’t be until this time next year. And a ‘Global Hidden Side’ line would be pretty awesome. They could do Japanese yokai, Australian bush spirits . . other kinds of country-specific ghosts I don’t know about . .

    Is it too much to hope for that we’ll see a character or two from Young Justice? I’d love to get Halo or - oh! Above all else, I really hope we see Terra!

    Personally, I’d print it as a separate, white piece to go underneath the trans blue dish. So if you touch the outside, the trans blue is still smooth, but you can still see the pattern because it’s on the inside. Although I suppose that would make it more tinted blue than it should be . . also might be fragile . .

    I don’t know about other countries, but RRP on Apocalypseburg is $500 AUD. For a 3100-piece Set. Even at the 20% off discounts I’ve seen it go for lately, that’s still terrible. If I see it at 40% off or higher, then maybe. But for now, definitely not.

    Oh my god, these are gorgeous! Please make the Sword of Sanctuary, the Sword is my absolute favourite weapon in Ninjago.
