You could do what I did; take off the helmet of the MK50 that you have on the Armour Assembly pod and put a Tony Stark hair/head on it. Then put one of the duplicate MK50s I assume you have in another pod. (Or just use the new partly-suited Tony minifig they're doing, since, presumably, you'll be able to get it.) And then use the MK51/Quantum Realm Suit to fill the last slot. It is an Iron Man suit, after all . . sort of, at least. Then again, there's something to be said for having a couple of empty slots? -

After some more trials and alterations, I've come up with a design for the Igor/Mark 38 the I'm satisfied with. Having made the feet shorter and improved the way it wraps around the pilot Minifigures, I am, at least for the time being, satisfied with my Igor design. https://imgur.com/T51awPF https://imgur.com/4xc7kXh If you want more/closer pictures, just ask! -

That's what I did for my Igor. It's still a little tall, though, and I'm hopeful that I can cut down its height. Maybe decrease the feet from three studs to two . . -

So, I just rewatched Iron Man 3, and noticed some interesting parallels. The House Party scenes prominently featured Igor/Mark 38, Heartbreaker/Mark 17, Thumper/Mark 25, Bones/Mark 41, and Red Snapper/Mark 35. There were a couple of others - I didn't recognise all of them, but I saw Tony use the Shotgun/Mark 40 directly against Killian. Which lined up pretty well with the armours that are featured in the Hall of Armour set. In addition to the Mark 1 and the Mark 5, which were obviously chosen because of how important they were in Iron Man 1 and 2. Obviously we already got Mark 17 back in the actual tie-in sets for IM3, but . . it definitely positions me to believe that we might see Thumper, Red Snapper, and Shotgun (in order of prominence and therefore likelihood) in future comics sets, similar to how we got Hammerhead/Mark 37 and Gemini/Mark 39. (In spite of the fact that both of those sets were based on Avengers Assemble, when neither suit was actually used in the show, so there's precedent.) I would love to see a Mark 25 or 40. Mostly because of the colour variance to other suits - please do Shotgun in sand blue - while Red Snapper . . well, it's kinda in the name. Thoughts, anyone? -

Yes please! An issue I have with my Igor is that he's too tall, I'd love to see a short version the same height as a bigfig. -

Okay, slightly off topic but I've started a topic showing my Hall of Armour MOC. I'd really appreciate any feedback. Take a look? -
After many revisions and expansions, I've finally developed my Hall of Armour MOC to the point where . . okay to be honest I ran out of pieces and can't make it any larger without a Bricklink order. I was originally planning to have eight slots to display armour plus a larger space for Igor, and 'minifig space' would just be a gantry and the computer/workbench from the official set. I ended up with all that, plus integrating the armour assembly platform from the official set, three extra slots for suits, a small place to analyse 'defective' suits (to be indefinitely occupied by the Mark V so that I can put that Mark V schematic sticker from the set to good use), and a hand-operated elevator. I've put a selection of photos on Imgur. I'd really appreciate any feedback or suggestions, since this is my first MOC that I've felt good enough about to share online. So, what does everyone think? https://imgur.com/a/klIiNVy EDIT: Also, I have the current edition of my modified Mark 38/Igor on display, which is currently in its fourth iteration. It is not complete yet, as I'm missing a couple of key parts that I need to finish the greebling around the head. But I'm confident that what's on show there is a significant improvement over the official one, at the very least.

Oh wow, Akita is an absolutely gorgeous minifigure . . except the legs! Ugh! We're still having this issue with paint thickness?! Seriously? Booooo. Come on, Lego! Wow, though, that hat/hair piece and face . . totally gorgeous. Why can't we have quality like this across the board? :(

The MK1 does fit with the jetpack on. Which means no one can say the MK1 isn't bulky enough, since there's no reason not to keep the jetpack on. -

Actually, it might. Most of the rear bulk on Silver Centurion is from the 2x2 plate on the back of the shoulder armour, which fits between the two inverted slopes in the armour slots quite neatly. It's only the shoulder flanges that get in the way a bit, but you can allay that by leaning the SC forwards a bit . . I mean, I don't have the Centurion (I wish I did) but as far as I can tell it'll work. Huh. I was considering just covering up the skull with some armour - maybe the same piece as Silver Centurion, but in pure silver - but that might work. Thanks! -

Maybe put something smaller in between them, to break it up a bit? A Hulkbuster or that little M-ship from the Tazerface set from GotG2 or something? -

Hey, so as some of you will know I'm working on filling slots in my Hall of Armour with Iron Man suits. Next on my 'buckethead list' is the Iron Skull Sub attack, because, depending on how you look at it, it sort of comes with two Iron Man suits. The Mark 37/"Hammerhead", and the actual Iron Skull armour. (I honestly don't care for Red Skull much, I'll probably use the head for a custom 'Vormir Skullwraith' minifigure. Point is, as I was tossing up whether or not I should display the Avengers Assemble-canon Iron Skull armour in the Hall of Armours, it occurred to me that it was, essentially, an Iron Man suit in black/silver/red with no associated helmet. And the Quantum War Machine fig from the War Machine Buster set has, essentially, an Iron Man helmet in black/silver/red with no associated suit. I'm not sure what I'd call this mashup suit, or use it as, but a significant factor in my decision will be how good the two armour parts look together. So is there anyone on here who has both sets and can throw the parts together and show us how it looks? -

Sorry, it won't. But there is enough room for you to put a plate with a clip under his feet and attach the shoulder gun there, so it's still, like, there. -
So, I know this is a little late, but some of you might have heard that in Australia the Overwatch sets are exclusive to Shop@Home and Amazon. And as we all know, Shop@Home rarely does discounts. Since Amazon Australia is relatively recent, I've actually never used it before. I bit the bullet and bought the smaller Overwatch sets at Shop@Home, but Watchpoint-Gibraltar is a big deal. And I'd really prefer not to pay $140 AUD for it if it's eventually going to be marked down to $112 or the like. That $28 could be the deciding factor in whether or not I have enough budget for my next big purchase. So I want to ask all you more experienced buyers; does Amazon run annual regular sales like most retailers, such as Target and Big W, do? Should I wait for a discount or bite the bullet? Keep in mind that while I do want Gibraltar, I'm in decidedly no rush, and I'm happy to wait for months if need be. Please advise?

All the sets were based on concept art, remember? Maybe there was a draft of the movie where Thanos had a hammer, and the designers thought it would be more interesting than just duplicating the sword. -

This is great! Even though you mislabelled the Mark V as the Mark III. My favourite's the Mark 50. Though I am getting a bit tired of it, now that I have three of them . . oh, you also forgot to mention that the Mark 50 comes in the Hall of Armour too. -

So I finally got the Hall of Armour today. Cap's Bike too. (I would have preferred to get the War Machine Buster, but Kmart's retail price for the Buster is the same as Target's 'on sale' price, while the Hall and Bike are both less expensive at 20% off Target than at Kmart, so I prioritised the Bike. Probably won't get around to getting the Buster for another month or so.) I immediately set about finishing up my custom Hall of Armour and fixing up Igor (which also turned out nicely, personally, even if he is even taller than I expected) using the parts from that set, and now that I'm just about done, I really want to show everyone on here . . so how exactly do I put up pictures such that they actually appear on the site, and not just as links to Imgur or something like that? Anyone got advice? -

That is a really great design! Just one little suggestion; you know the new Xtra sticker pack? One of the stickers they have in there is a 2x2 clear-backed pattern of white stripes. If you get that and put those stripes on those plain 2x2x2/3 bow shoulders, it'd really complete the look. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

So, I just built Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket. I built the Rescue Rocket configuration first, because I plan to have it semi-permanently in the Dream House configuration and put it in my City layout. I gotta say, it's a very unique build process. You can really tell how much of a hodgepodge it's supposed to be, and the final result is so unusually dense. It's heavy. There are so many parts that are packed under the floor and into the roof and just everywhere that it just boggles the mind. If I weren't planning to put it in the alternate configuration eventually, I'd happily strip out a lot of the 'hidden' pieces and have a handful of useful parts without affecting the outward appearance of the Rescue Rocket at all. Also, the spacesuit variant of Rex is the most gorgeous minifigure I've seen from this series yet. He has dual-moulded legs, a new printed helmet design, and arm printing! And the fact that his jet pack is built to incorporate the same printed slope piece as appears in the Rextreme Off-roader . . I still feel like that set should have included more than one of the dark blue slopes printed with Rex's logo, but this makes up for it! The Dream House/Rescue Rocket is definitely my favourite of the first wave of TLM2 sets . . though Queen Whatevra's Space Palace might take that title come May . . -

Remind me who that is again? And please, no Bruce Willis. The cameos from him were the only part of the movie I didn't enjoy at all. I have no interest in a Bruce Willis minifigure.
