  1. Not entirely. If memory serves, the Diner set does include a small car with a big anti-ghost cannon. But other than that and the train station with the train, you're right. I'm most interested in the High School (if only to repurpose it into an Avengers Mansion), Diner and Graveyard. Though as far as I can tell, the janitor/stuntman who is the fourth main hero is exclusive to the Banana Truck, so for the sake of character completionism I might get that one too. And the Train does look nice . .
  2. The Sparkle Spa and Couch Mech have both turned up at my local Kmart. No sign of the Space Palace yet, though, which is a shame because that's the one I want most. I'm largely uninterested in the Couch Mech, and undecided on the Sparkle Spa. I'll probably wait until we see a third wave before making a call one one way or another on the Spa; the main draw is exclusive Balthazar, so if he comes in another set down the line, like Benny's Crystal Spaceship, then the Spa suddenly becomes a bit redundant.
  3. Having seen the trailer, I'm almost disappointed that Lego reused the 2017 Spidey suit in the Stark Jet. Turns out it would be way more accurate to have reused Iron Spider. Guess they wanted that fig to be a draw of the Sanctum set. Granted, Sanctum was a Day 1 purchase for me just because Sanctum Sanctorum . . still, though.
  4. Or even just a set with repeats of those figures. Not that that's likely, given their track record . . I definitely hope we get some new comics sets next year, with a new Iron Man suit.
  5. I think 40263 was a pretty good little add-on to Winter Village sets, and the contents of that set are still part of my city layout. (I just had to take them off the white plates.) I definitely want to see more . . but I think they're just doing more Brickheadz . . I remember seeing on the back of the Bee and Rabbit advertising for an Elf and Reindeer Brickheadz. I hope they do something else, too, though. Something I can put in a city.
  6. Eh. To be honest, I could care less about the Mark 85. Lego just didn't do a very good job with it . . I'm mostly just annoyed that the arms and legs don't match, but still. And good luck. I've been looking for all three for months. Tracking down a copy of the Iron Skull Sub set for the Scuba (which is actually the Mark 37, "Hammerhead") isn't hard. They're still floating around at more-or-less retail value. The Avenjet is a bit harder, but I found a couple of listings on eBay and Bricklink alike . . to be honest, though, if you're going for an MCU Hall of Armour, Lego's rendition of the Mark 39, "Gemini", is remarkably inaccurate. Heartbreaker is the real challenge, though. I haven't found any listings or ways to get it at a reasonable price. Good luck.
  7. . . . Actually there's a third assumption you've made without even realising it. Granted, this is an assumption that Lego wants you to make prior to seeing the movie, but if you really don't intend to see it then I'll just tell you. It's really not fair to judge the movie or its characters without having seen it, though.
  8. @Klaus-Dieter The new lighthouse isn't good enough for you? Because it's at the top of my list, personally. My city's docks area needs a lighthouse.
  9. I'd rather have the Mark 3 than the Mark 2. If you think about it, the Mark 1 was repurposed into the Iron Monger and the Mark 2 into War Machine Mark 1. As of the time of Iron Man 3 (when the Hall existed), the Mark 3 is the oldest Iron Man suit that still exists. But considering that I've recently added a section devoted to War Machine in my Hall, it could just be that I don't want too much silver/grey.
  10. I hope it's the black/red suit as well, but for a different reason; After how much fun I've had doing a Hall of Armour setup for Iron Man, I've decided to do a smaller-scale but similar thing for Spider-Man. I already owned comics/animation Spidey variants from both 2016 and 2019, plus 2018's Iron Spider suit. (I didn't get either of the Homecoming sets while I could and I regret it - looking into it.) I figured that I could add this year's Stealth Suit and fill up all four of the slots I've got room for. But if they do the black/red suit, I can replace the 2016 comics suit with it, and it'll be so much nicer, because the 2016 and 2019 Spider-Man variants are basically just the same suit. I was considering tracking down Neware the Vulture, but this minifigure pack sounds like the modem interesting (and cheaper) alternative. So woo-hoo! Ned and Maria Hill are both great too, even if they messed up the Ned figure a bit. Lego really does need some kind of chest attachment or something for fat characters . .
  11. I've looked through legoleaks but haven't seen anything. Have we got pictures of the actual set yet, or just the minifigs?
  12. I've got pictures of my mostly-finalised design here (I have since replaced the square 2x2 blue plate on the head with a round 2x2 light bley plate, but everything else is unchanged); Oh, also, I didn't notice this before, but using the Brickheadz Iron Man eye as an Arc Reactor is genius. Nice touch!
  13. I love what you did with the knees, but I do feel like the head juts a bit too far forward and the feet are really plain and weird-looking. In mine I preserved the plate with bar, clips and cheese wedge that Lego originally used for the feet, and it looks fine once I reduced the height of the 'boots'.
  14. I can't imagine there being much demand for them even if they do. I've honestly never heard of the Eternals or Shang-Chi before, and unless the movies make a big impression on me it's honestly unlikely that I'd get any sete about them even if Lego does make them. I'd much rather see Endgame Wave 2 with one or two sets about Black Widow next year.
  15. Okay, I've gone on the MCU wikis and looked it up. Hopefully that clears up for people what War Machines we're missing. Wait, hold on, I double-checked;
  16. Isn't that second one the Infinity War One? Which would make it the Mark 4? Also, the fact hat my Sanctum Sanctirum is missing Wong should tell you that LOTS of other countries had problems with Bricktober.
  17. There is a microscale Hogwarts Express, @Agent Kallus. I'm mostly interested in the Hogwarts Architect minifigure. Is it going to be a statue, or will they be an actual person? As a side note, I've noted before that the Hogwarts Great Hall Set from last year . . the statue of the Hogwarts Architecf is pictured holding a 'model of Hogwarts' that is all but identical to the Great Hall Lego model. I thòught that was a really nice Easter egg back then, but if they're actually doing an Architect minifigure, then . . this could be so great please don't mess it up Lego . . Also, I love the Advent Calendar Harry variant, with the sweater that Molly Weasley knitted for him in the first book. I honestly can't decide if I'd rather there be a Ron variant with his own sweater or just Ron in standard Hogwarts uniform . . I need more uniforms for 'student army building', hut the sweater would be gorgeous. On the other hand, I'll be disappointed if it's just repeats of Dumbledore and McGonagall from the Great Hall . . but Flitwick? Is he going to be identical to the CMF or a new variant? Weird choice. I would have liked at least one generic student . . preferably Hufflepuff . .
  18. I hope you're right, though they might just be saving the posters for next year.
  19. Also, something occurred to me a couple of days ago that I forgot about until now. I cannot be the only one who thinks that Teen Groot (from Thor's Weapon Quest in the Infinity War line) would benefit from using the new brown mid-size legs in the Disney CMF. (I can't remember if it was Chip or Dale who had those legs, I'm too young to have been around for them.) He's clearly shorter than everyone else except Rocket, it can only help.
  20. I honestly hope there's not another Bricktober debacle. I still can't believe Lego never didn't a distribution event or any way for Australia to get the Bricktober pack. Damnit, I want a Wong minifigure . .
  21. One thing I noticed about the 'Quantum Realm Suit' variants in Endgame; I'm still getting the War Machine Buster, but mostly for the new Ant-Man helmet and because I want to repurpose it for a MOC.
  22. Yep. If you sae the fabric 'canvas' from Emma's Art Studio in the winter wave, where a pattern appears when you get it wet, it seems to use the same design. Wet the fabric and it'll reveal a treasure map. I can't decide whether that's clever or redundant in the context of it being found underwater . .
  23. Look at that Stephanie gymnastics set from this wave again and revise your statement.
  24. I haven't seen the advent calendar. What addition? Looking at the tiny builds that are par for the course with City, Friends and Star Wars calendars, I don't see why we should expect the advent calendar to come with anything that could be added to the Great Hall and/or Clocktower as a room in Hogwarts . . unless you know something I don't? As far as sets go, Expectro Patronum is the real standout. I'll probably get the Horntail set for the minifigures and to MOD the dragon. That crappy tent is gonna be scrapped so hard. Knight Bus is meh, Hagrid's Hut and the Clock Tower are both great, but I won't get either because I don't have any room for them in my layout. Sorry Lego, you tried. Still, happy for all of you who the Clock Tower does work for, and if I could accomodate it I definitely would get it.
