I mean those didn’t actually connect, but if these ones did that’d be really cool! The Dragon Flyer might be interesting, especially if there’s a new BP variant. I love collecting suits and building suit racks. I’ve also got my fingers crossed for Iron Man Mk 3, but am I remembering wrong or was he up to Mk 4 during the fight with Iron Monger? Less excited for Captain America, especially if it actually does turn out to be another giant bike. Still, a more accurate version of the Endgame final battle would be great. Fingers crossed!

Agreed. Ideally, if we were to get a WandaVision set I’d hope for something similar to a smaller version of the Sanctum Sanctorum showdown. Maybe also with a SWORD truck.

That’s what I thought too but there’s a lot of people saying it’s legit so I’m inclined to believe them. Even though I’ve never heard of ‘Pork Grind’ before? It’s a very weird pick, I guess they’re just trying to make the most of the Spider-Ham head mould.

I don’t see why people think LEGO’s going to do anything in black and white for WandaVision. That was only the first two episodes, and it was one of the least important parts of the show. Between Halloween Wanda, Soccer Mom Wanda, and presumably the new Scarlet Witch outfit in the final episode, 1950’s black-and-white Wanda is possibly the least interesting variant in the show. (Granted, Soccer Mom Wanda isn’t much better but I’m holding out hope for Tommy and Billy and Soccer Mom Wanda would go much better with them.

I’d love a Jay-themed pirate ship. Did you see the preliminary picture? It’s really not much of a Nautilus. I think it might be built using one of those big preformed ‘floats in water’ hulls, but I’m not certain because the prow is built up in a way that looks like it wouldn’t really work with the big hull (as far as I can tell) - plus, the whole point of those parts is that they don’t sink. Which kind of ruins the whole idea that it’s a submarine, IMHO. I do like the white and gold colour scheme. I hope that’s final and not preliminary - the images we got had a lot of ‘unfinalised’ Minifigure parts in white, and then the Hydro Bounty was mostly white so we’re worried that might just be the ‘unfinalised’ colour - but out of all the other sets we saw pictures of, none of the others had massive white blocks like that and the black ‘wheelhouse’ section and gold fins looked pretty final - especially because they’re using a completely new fin part in gold there - so I am inclined to think that it really is white.

Hammond from Overwatch comes to mind. I think there’ve been a few CMF parts as well. I agree. It looks like that one Sky Police visor to me (though I might be wrong).

So Target Australia is making a big deal out of VIDIYO, and I found some interesting possibly-official names for the six ‘main’ characters; https://www.target.com.au/lego-vidiyo Pirate Punk and Robo Hip Hop are only slightly different to what I expected, but apparently the unicorn is named K-Pawp, the alien is ETDM, the mermaid is Candy Pop and the llama - despite his obvious resemblance to the tie-in artist L.L.A.M.A., is called Tropical Tochno. (I don’t know either . .)

Ooh, pretty happy with these prices! The Horse Jet is only $70 AUD? And the Inferno Jet is $50? Sweet! Not thrilled about the Dronecopter being at the same price point of the Warrior Mech and Flaming Foundry at $230 AUD, but meh it’s workable. And the Mountain at $280 . . hm. Not great. Guess that’s reasonable enough.

I’m just looking at the way the hull seems to bulge out at the bottom and thinking the shaping looks suspect. I hope I’m wrong too, but we probably won’t know for months. As a counterpoint, if it is a large hull piece the big windows at the top look like they’re too low down to accomodate an interior with space for minifigures to stand (as has become the norm for Bounties), and the prow definitely seems different, so it might be that the shaping is just a coincidence. Fingers crossed I guess. A moon pool feature would be awesome, I really hope you’re right about that!

Yep, Goofy’s identical. Most of the figures were pictured partly or completely in white, meaning they weren’t finalised, but Goofy was fully coloured and ‘finalised’ which implies that he’s not new. Also he did look identical to the train set. It’s all 4+, but normal minifigures, yes. I’m super excited for these! It’ll be so great to have these characters in affordable sets!

Hey guys? It’s hard to tell because it’s hidden really well, but it won’t of looks like the Hydro Bounty is built on one of those big cargo ship ‘floats in water’ bases. Hm. If it is that definitely cuts my interest a bit, I hate those big bases.

Oh the sets look cool. I’m excited for the Bathroom now because, as I hoped, Harry and Ron have Slytherin torsos, which means I’ll be able to use use the Crabbe and Gayle faces and put them in my Hogwarts as actual Crabbe and Goyle! I also really like the look of Hogsmeade. The Fluffy corridor looks like a good addition to the Great Hall, and those two together might make a good micro-Hogwarts but I’m not sold that they’ll match all that well with the existing Hogwarts stuff from the last three years.

Oh wow. These are incredible. When I heard ‘Hydro Bounty’ I was not excited but frankly this thing doesn’t even look like a Bounty, and I mean that in the best way possible. If anything it looks like the ninja got an entirely new ship, only very vaguely related to the Bounty, and just named it ‘Bounty 5.0’ because it’s traditional at this point. I’m surprised to be saying this but I really want that. And the temple! Oh gosh, the temple, and Wohira! Words cannot describe how gorgeous it looks to me so I’ll just spam emojis. Plus, finally Nya gets a dragon and it was worth the wait because that thing is amazing and I want it. Unfortunately, the other sets seem to be standard ninja vehicles. Seriously, an underwater car? Pass. Lloyd’s Mech is cute but meh. So we’re sure there are only five sets for this wave, right? The Fire Dragon is alright, I guess? Nothing special. And wow they screwed up the Ultra Sonic Raider. It looks sort of like they took all the worst parts of both the 2012 Ultra Sonic Raider and the 2016 Ultra Stealth Raider and put them together. I, eh, don’t think I’m getting that one. Oh well!

No kidding. You know a lot of us have email notifications enabled for this thread? Every time someone posts on here it pops up in my email, and the emails stop stacking after about ninety of them come through and just start a new one. To paraphrase, I have empirical evidence that everyone on this site has faaaaaaaar too much to say, and very little of it is of actual substance. Then again apparently I’m no better. Sorry to all the people who just got this in their email.

Some of these are really cool! And have we seen all of them? If we’re assuming the blue and white robot from a while back is the Alien Beat Box, then fine, but I don’t think I’ve seen a Unicorn Beat Box? Other than that, though, yeah I think I’ve seen everything. The gold robot with the extra arms is definitely a standout for me. He looks great, and so does the epynonymous llama. I’m probably going to get those two to start with, and use eBay or BrickLink to pick out a few of the Bandmates. The Mohawk Shark’s definitely an important one, and I also like the Genie Girl a lot. Wait, Nevermind, found the unicorn and she’s gorgeous. I want that one too!

Off topic, but I’m looking at the new 4+ Electromech they did in Ninjago, with the new Mech leg pieces, and am I the only one thinking that those parts might be foreshadowing a 4+ AT-AT?

My understanding of it was that when the Digital Overlord transformed Ninjago City into a ‘techno-monarchy’ the general populace were traumatised about such advanced technology, and everyone wanted to return to a simpler way of life. They still have all that technological advancement, hence the futuristic ninja vehicles and things like Prime Empire (which is supposedly just technology with no magic at all despite doing some absolutely ridiculous things). Which also might explain why Ninjago City gets more advanced but not to a massive degree between Hands of Time and SOG, enough time has passed that they’re starting to roll out advanced technology again and people are less worried that all the robots will turn on them again.

“Hey kids! Who wants to buy a giant fishing village set? It features Fat Thor playing Fortnite!” On the one hand, you’re right, Korg would make sense. But on the other New Asgard just . . kind of . . isn’t an interesting place.

Faith would only require one new print, there’s basically no reason not to have made her. Still annoyed they didn’t. I think we’ve also missed our chance to have a dark Nya, since Legacy’s sort of been and gone with that season. Which sucks, really.

I didn’t notice before but there are a bunch of flags floating in midair around the mountain set. They sort of remind me of the flags that hover above the entrances to different zones in Okami, but I can’t read Chinese so I don’t know what they say. Does anyone know what to make of those?
