The castle looks gorgeous! It’s huge and tall and I was right to expect more Black Falcons theme stuff and I’m absolutely getting this! Yes! It’s even better than I hoped!

What in the hell even is this? Some kind of alternate universe? I have questions. Can’t wait to see more of it though!

Star-Lord T’Challa, White Vision and Spider-America. Though that might change once we’ve seen Loki (L0kI?) and I see what this alternate Loki and ‘Lady Loki’ are like. Gamora, Daughter of Thanos might be cool though, depending on what she’s like she might replace Wanda as #4.

I think it’ll be the other way around. Maya in the Bounty and Benthomaar in the temple. The unknown figure in the temple - the one with a golden spear of some sort fighting a moray guard at the base of Wohira - has an exposed head and no wig like Benthomaar does in the show. Even if it’s prelim pictures, you’d expect Maya to be shown with a wig. And oh yeah, I see Glutinous now! I hadn’t noticed him before! That’s awesome!

Zombie Cap? Ew, was really hoping they wouldn’t waste a slot on that one. And are we sure about Captain Spid-America? Like, I’m not opposed, but I have questions. Also, if White Vision is legit, mixed feelings; on the one hand that’s great I want White Vision! On the other, he’s definitely going to appear in future movies and series so we know we could get him later, whereas this might’ve been our only chance to get Agatha. (Better than getting a regular Vision like some people expected, mind, since his design hasn’t changed much since 2018.)

I’m interested in the terrain depicted in the Luigi set. The dirt biome being official is great, but what is going on with all the sand green structures? It’s like some kind of sewer level. At least, I can’t think of anything else that poisonous water and rusty green structures might be referencing. Maybe we’ll get more sets in this design? That’d be interesting.

Do we know for sure that the Girls’ Bathroom has some kind of trapdoor feature to work with the slide in Chamber of Secrets? Because I can see why they’d do it but I haven’t seen any pictures proving that it’s actually a thing, and it seems unlikely to me that LEGO would have a function like that, that only works if you attach it to the really big set.

Wow, the sets look great! Did we know about the Flying Lessons? I don’t remember hearing about that one. Won’t say no to updated Madame Hooch though. Definitely getting the girls’ bathroom - uh, Polyjuice Potion Problems, is it? Same for Hogsmeade - Hogsmeade is going to be a great addition to my Winter Village, help make up for the subpar official offerings of the past two years - and given I’m mostly certain that the Polyjuice’d Harry and Ron are going to have ‘alternate’ Crabbe and Goyle faces, that way I’ll finally be able to add Malfoy’s minions to my Hogwarts. And after that I fully intend to get the Fluffy Encounter too and complete the (literally) Golden Trio. Also, Fawkes! No way I’m missing that one - do we know if there’s a golden figure in Fawkes? I’ve seen some people say golden Dumbledore is in Fawkes, but I’m only seeing cropped images of the box art and I thought golden Dumbledore was in the D2C (whatever that is)? Actually, it looks to me like you can. The 2018-2020 sets have been based on a system where there’s one Technic pin at ground level and one elevated by five bricks, so there’re two attachment points. I’m not certain but I think that the ‘sideways’ attachment of the new sets also relies on the same technic pin system - at the very least the ground level one is the same. So worst case, only have one point of connection. And, I mean, it’s LEGO. I’m certain it’ll be easy to modify them so that they are compatible if they aren’t already by default.

Wanda and Bucky at the least are likely to be in the CMF, so I’d hold out for them. There’s also going to be a new Rocket soon, and I forget the exact composition of the impending Endgame Final Battle set’s minifigures but I’m pretty sure Rocket’s among them. If you can find the Ant-Man set from a couple of years ago, I’ve combined the suit from that set with the helmet from the War Machine Buster. Customs might be better for Wasp though, she was . . mediocre. War Machine’s tricky, the version in the Helicarrier is cool but I’m not sure how accurate it’ll be to Contest of Champions and that’s an expensive set.

To clarify; Cole’s scuba suit just leaked and it has a new hip piece with two pockets. And yes, that is a new hip piece, the TLBM one stuck up more and had a central belt buckle.

Yep, that is exactly what I was expecting. Hairpiece looks good in black though, hope that comes in other sets as I’m not much interested in the fire dragon.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Though I myself didn’t see any indication that Nya was in the Water Dragon? Based on the preliminary picture we got it looks to me like it’s Zane and the dragon versus Kalmar and two grunts.

Yeesh. Not a fan. I can sort of see the appeal? What they were going for? And that certainly is a very cool wig. Just . . uh . . yeah, I don’t like it.

I think Star Lord T’Challa (Star Panther?) is almost guaranteed if the CMF does What If? It’s one of the ones we’ve known about since the series was announced, which means LEGO’s known about it just as long if not longer. Couple that with the fact that the Star Lord mask piece already exists and just needs to be recoloured, and there’s basically no reason and few better options for LEGO to put in the CMF, unless the CMF is all WandaVision/FatWS/Loki with no What If? representation. Which personally makes me very happy. Star Lord T’Challa is the What If? episode that I’m most excited for, and I knew it was unlikely he’d ever be in LEGO form so I had resigned myself to disappointment and possibly customisation, but if this is actually happening then I’m really excited!

In what sense are Iron Monger and WWII Iron Man versions of the Mark 1? Sure, Monger was made out of the Mark 1, but WWII is completely separate. (I’m probably still going to see if it’ll fit in my Hall of Armour though.)

No Iron Man? Really? Aw man! I as really looking forward to adding a suit or two to my Hall from the CMF.

As someone who mostly knows these characters from the more recent suburban Looney Tunes show of a few years ago, I’m pretty happy with this lineup. Mostly, that is. Granny’s definitely going to be missed. And I agree that they should have done Foghorn. Very pleased to have Road Runner and Wil E. Coyote Come to think, it wouldn’t surprise me if this lineup was picked at least partly based on that show, since Bugs, Daffy, Lola and Porky are all major characters, Sylvester and Tweety pop up a lot and Taz is Bugs’ pet. I don’t remember ever seeing Petunia though, but then I didn’t see all the episodes.

Say, RE the Spider-Man Vs Doc Ock Mech set, is it just me or is the build for Spider-Man’s Mech almost identical and just recoloured from Miles’ Mech? The shoulder pads and small feet in particular look very distinctive and very similar.

Didn’t Spidey and Jessica date for a while in the comics? I know everyone thinks about the Netflix series, but Jessica Jones does have history in the comics. I’d sort of love to see a ‘Jewel’ figure.

Sounds interesting! I’d be on board with another set containing that sweet Doc Ock figure that isn’t ‘Spider-Man’s Monster Truck’. And the mechs have honestly been pretty nice.

The Dragon Flyer and Endgame Final Battle, for sure. Unless there are surprise good minifigures, Cap Vs. Hydra is probably just gonna be Cap vs Outriders all over again, and I love that we’re getting the Iron Monger but I honestly have no idea what I’d do with it so might just BrickLink Iron Man Mk. 3 for my Hall. And I still have the 2018 Benatar so I see absolutely no reason for me to get another model of the same ship. But new Black Panther is great, so’s new Shuri, and I’m really hopeful for the Endgame Final Battle.

You laugh but I’m still reserving a spot in my Hall for Christmas Iron Man. :P Snow Widow would be great. Fingers crossed!

Honestly, I could dig an interior vignette of the inside of Sanctuary II. Thanos’ throne. Though a set like that should really have Gamora and Nebula so . . who knows?
