I completely agree. I got the Iron Bull Tank to accompany the Flaming Foundry since I don’t intend to get any of the other sets with Sandy, and they do look good together in my city (would have preferred the Inferno Truck but I have limited space and the Tank is smaller), but by itself it’s really not much to write home about.

What? She must be in a different Australia to me, new sets usually take up to two weeks after their official ‘release date’ to show up in stores or online in Melbourne.

We don’t have any rumoured set lists or leaked names or anything, but we know the show’s continuing, and the summer wave’s likely to be an August release. We haven’t heard anything about any August releases in any theme to my knowledge. It’s way too early to say the theme’s cancelled though.

Say, do we have any word on when the Eternals sets will release? June? August?

I saved the images while they were available, and can confirm, the 4+ Bounty, Fire Dragon and Legacy USR all have the ninja in their Legacy 1 outfits. Those might be placeholders, but other unfinalised minifigures were in white, while these were fully coloured, so don’t get your hopes up. And I’m pretty sure Legacy 2 is really more of a mix between the Rebooted and Tournament suits. They have the Tournament-accurate sleeveless design but the detailing looks more like Rebooted in places.

You laugh but it’s only a matter of time until they do a winged Falcon Mech. . . . Actually if they do a good job I might buy that.

I was really looking forward to this set. I can’t believe they cancelled it, it looked so cool. (Pointless vehicles aside, but that’s basically just expected in City.) There’s been a lot of talk about why it was cancelled and what’s wrong with it, and I don’t really think I can contribute to that in any meaningful way, but . . I would have bought this if they’d released it. I honestly don’t think doing petitions or outcry will achieve anything, but hey, I hope I’m wrong, and if this set does see the light of day LEGO can have my money,

I got the Rock Roader, it’s actually one of the only ninja vehicles I’ve kept long-term because I sort of see it as Cole’s most iconic vehicle. (A case can be made for the Earth Driller, but mostly because it was the only Legacy vehicle that they used during March of the Oni and meh.) The suspension is brilliant and I also love that it actually seats three people - when I’ve seen larger vehicles from Ninjago that only seat one. I modified mine a bit years ago so I’m not sure I fully recall what it was like originally, but it’s definitely something I recommend picking up for Ninjago fans. (Also Nelson, who’s great.) I’m not interested in the fire temple to be honest (and given they’re redoing the fire dragon, I doubt we’ll ever see it now). But ditto for Battle for Ninjago City, I was in a Dark Age for 2013-2014 and I regret missing that one.

I get what you’re doing, but I really hope they don’t use the same black plate, actually. We’ve had orange stands and white stands. Wouldn’t it be great if they did something like the TLBM CMF2 and had red plates with ‘MARVEL’ printed on them? Maybe I’m being too optimistic but I’d really love to see that.

No sweat. I’m just glad to know the figure exists. I know we heard about all the text leaks but those are easy to fake. Pictures are a lot harder, so my personal policy is to never be 100% convinced that something exists until we have a picture. (Definitely looking forward to the dragon flyer though.)

That’s fair. I’m a city builder predominantly. If I get the Helicarrier, either I’ll modify it so it looks less clunky and put it in the sky over my city, or just take it apart and use the parts for MOCs. Would be nice to add that War Machine armour to my Hall though . .

Open question, a local store has last year’s Helicarrier on clearance at half RRP. It’s a pretty good deal, but I already have most of the figures, the only new ones to my collection would be War Machine, Nick Fury and MODOK, and . . it is sort of ugly. Is it worth it?

I know we all expect MCU, and I would love to fill in a couple of slots in the Hall of Armour (Red Snapper, please please please) but honestly I’d love to see a first-appearance all-gold comics Iron Man, like what they did for Batman and Wonder Woman. Doubly so if it could also pass as Midas (Mark 21). Jusr that we’ve heard all of nothing about golden figures in Marvel like they’re doing for Ninjago and HP.

Are the rumours about buildable Fawkes confirmed? Because I would absolutely get that! Fawkes is great!

Personally, if we were to get anything from Loki (the show) that we’ve seen so far, I’d hope for the Time Bureau - or whatever it’s called. The elevator scene in the trailer was so cool, and we could get really interesting figures.

I hope so. I didn’t get either of the Milanos, but I do have the 2018 Benatar and managed to get the Taserface set, so Drax is actually the only Guardian I’m missing. (Though I would like a non-Quantum Realm Suit version of Nebula, too.) I thought I’d have to wait until GotG Vol 3 for both, so fingers crossed!

So now Asgard’s confirmed? I just got a lot more excited.

That would be good. Would it be a clear 1x1 brick? That might look too two-dimensional. I’d honestly expect that more from a CMF with Pepper though. I hope we get the Mark 3 undamaged, myself. Battle-damaged might be accurate, but it would suck for Hall of Armour builders like myself.

Wait, hold on. There’s supposed to be a $30 Sanctuary II set? $30? Including Thanos, Captain Marvel and Iron Man? Are we sure that’s real? How would the Sanctuary II even work at that price point? Is this a 4+ set? I’m depressed to say I could see then doing the Sanctuary II as something similar to Loki’s flyer from that 4+ Avengers Tower last year.

Well, given that none of the outfits look the same, even if it is the same character it’s a different outfit. Llke they did with having two variants of Killmonger in 2018. I’m happy with that!

On the bright side about the new set, it looks like Shang-Chi is the only repeated character. So there’s a total of seven new figures (nine counting the dragon and weird little lizard thing} across these two sets! Is that a record? It’s pretty great for a sub-theme with only two sets.

Is that set literally just a car and two bikes? It sort of looks like there’s also a turret of some sort but that might be part of the background art, I can’t tell. All the same, definite meh from me. (Might be good for my biker gang though, hmm.)

Is it too optimistic of me to wonder if the FFH 4+ set will finally include the Bosch suit for Spider-Man? I know, I know, probably not, but we can hope right?
