In the swampy hinterlands of Stormhaven, many months ago. Not too long before, Golden Jack had arrived on Serentia. His orders were clear: exploring the island, searching for gold. So here he was, in the shallow waters of the mangrove swamps... ... you better not think about what lurks below the water line - just imagine all the gold you could find instead! Who knows how long such journeys last? Was time not relative anyway? Maybe it took him days, maybe months, but Jack found something worth inspecting: Digging into the jungle grounds might be unnecessary, for a strange earth was open to see among the mangroves. The question now: what was it? Gold at last? ========================================================================= Both an entry for the GoC "Mangrov Madness" task, as well as a prospecting build (calling @Ayrlego). @Ayrlego @Bregir @Captain Dee @SilentWolf @LM71Blackbird @evancelt: This is my second "Mangrove Madness" build, outside of the settlement.

This is usually tracked in the Account Summary Sheet - the latest should be this one. Whenever a new one is published, you will find it posted in this thread. Having said that: with you being so "new", your account will not be listed yet. Your first small license is free anyway. I'll shoutout for @Ayrlego to the rescue though. -

The Return of The... (Chapter 11)

Teh wimminz are raising arms? Brutal take-over incoming, men slaughtered left, right and center? Blood in the street, cats and dogs living together? Looks like a promising future to me! -

Nice one! I actually like the slightly irregular roof, otherwise it might look a bit too clean. So... is the WTC monopoly on Corrington education broken? And yeah, I think the HP line introduced "half-height" legs that can move normally but are shorter than the standard legs. -
Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
On second thought: I think the nutcracker would make for a pretty pompous Corrington general, given another (less comical) head. There are some really nice ones in this upcoming series, and I will get a few of them. Just not primarily for BotBS. -

It has been a while for me, the following might be covered somewhere. Anyway, some questions regarding mines and mining, where I'm sure @Ayrlego or @Bregir can help out easily. Does every mine - and by extension every seperate mining build - outside of the "rock" category need a seperate prospect build? Or is it possible to build as many mines in a certain location as I want for a certain mineral after it has been "found" by one prospect there? Thanks in advance! -

One question regarding the license costs for the prospecting builds and the mine itself: I assume the Crown will pay for the latter, and also be happy if I handle the former on my own? I would like to do the prospecting builds as part of a story of the WTC getting more involved in mining - while some of the mines itself will be sold (in story terms!) for profit to the Crown. Meaning I do the initial prospects and their licenses on my own, and once a mine build meant "for the Crown" is posted I will let @Ayrlego or @Bregir know so they can handle it from there - alright? -

José's Inn - Ye Olde BoBS Drinking Hole
Darnok replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I guess it depends on the build quite a bit. Assuming there would be some of the sheep-herding shown, possibly including the storage of whool and whatnot: artisan. If it was more about a wide landscape build, sheep herd spread out, herder sleeping under a tree: plantation. Personally I'd gravitate towards the artisan though - this is more about the craft of the sheep handler than about "growing whool". -
