Nice! Once more, many thanks for all the efforts behind the scenes and the hard work they come with.

As everybody knows, dolphins are vile creatures, always planning to overthrow minifig-kind. Like horses actually!

To be fair: that would make for some pretty awesome story and build opportunities!

LEGO Hidden Side 2020

People from Germany should check out Saturn and/or Media Markt, HS is sold for pretty cheap there. Even though I guess anybody on this forum is aware of cheaper alternatives. -
HS ending is a shame, but that's not the point of this thread. I guess we won't get somethign similar soon - there seems to be some rotation of themes going on over different series. Having said that, I would absolutely love more "horror" themed sets and minifigs. The seasonal sets for Halloween are a start, but they are one set max per year, and pretty small (still better than nothing!). Something bigger and/or more regular would be great. One can but hope... A set in black and white (and grey obviously) for Addams Family would be cool. How many shades of grey are in the current parts catalogue? With some creative use of those it could be a visually stunning piece - and that steamboat set for Mickey Mouse shows that the concept is not impossible to do.

Another German chiming in... Of the two options I definitely favour "Eisenpfote"/"Iron Paw" - it sounds both fierce and cute. It also just sounds better to me in German than the much more brutal "Stahlklaue".

Many thanks to everybody participating, there were a lot of great builds and stories in this, which made it an overall interesting and exciting development for the game. Also even greater thanks to all working tirelessly behind the scenes to have this run smoothly - your hard work is appreciated! Congratulations to all individual winners, as well as to the Sea Rats faction winning it overall. Well done everybody!

First things first: this is a very nice MOD of the Parisian Restaurant. I think it works perfectly fine in the BotBS verse. Concerning the licensing... I think is is a somewhat grey area. This build is definitely not a MOC in the sense of "my own creation". Some parts were changed, other than that it is a TLG design. Nothing wrong with that to use it as (for example) the background for some story in the game. Attaching a license is somethign different though.

There is always a next challenge - and with Oleon invading Terraversa we might have another major event ahead of us. A great time to be in the game for sure!

Just on a historical sidenote: a possible response like in a certain other proclamation was made today 245 years ago. Is Oleon heading down the same road?

Is the guillotine invented in the BotBS verse already? Does somebody know of a simple Lego build? Just asking the important questions here...

Loving it. Civil War hooray!

Sea Rats: Sign-up and Discussion, ERA II

Well hello there @NOD,great to have another player around! A great introduction of your characters, I enjoyed it. As for the rules: don't worry too much about the details at the start, just build things and get your stories going. I am sure you will get all the help you need for the "paperwork" once you get there. If it is all too confusing, you could always simply ask somebody to do it for you. As for English: well, I'm from Germany, if you feel more comfortable with that I am happy to help. Just a warning in advance: I am a bit unreliable when it comes to the speed of replying - please don't expect a response in less than a day all the time. I try my best, but real life is nasty this year... -
Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
As for what did or did not happen, and how it was and is presented: please keep in mind that such a thing as "the truth", if it ever existed, could not be represented properly. Every report of anything ever in the history of humankind had some form of bias. This is especially true when it comes to wars and newspapers. Best example in these hallowed halls I can think of: the WTCM. Everything in it is (and always has been) technically and on a factual level correct - with some huge bias in its representation of course. So whatever Oleon deems appropriate as a "reason" to start a war: better not waste time on discussing how "correct" said reason is. Just accept Oleon presented itself for slaughter and go along with it. BBQ for everybody! -

Oi, what a bunch of drivel. The Oleon way! -
Just for now: when can we expect the "real" next KPA? And does this mean the WTCM is the only remaining credible newspaper? Excellent news! Oh no, how horrible! Exciting times ahead for sure!

[GoC] Cavalry Stables, Port Woodhouse
Darnok replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A really impressive, yet "classic" build, well done. You never cease to amaze me with your builds! The WTC would be delighted to have something like this in Mesabi Landing. We can offer you excellent property right next to the slaughterh... some restaur... the main street. -
Why? As an animal it makes sense in many different setting, something City related for example. It would fit well in a Christmas set of course, but not exclusively at all.

This is awesome! One question though: is there a secret exit somewhere? That would be all that is left for perfection...
