  1. Over a year had passed since the crew of the Cranky Parrot had set foot on Calinstock, to found a new settlement now known as "Port Mordo". Since then, the WTC had shipped more men and supplies there, careful in not making the settlements existence known to any outsider. The goal for the time being was to have their newest asset in the far east be self-sufficient and kind of flying under the radar - that is, if anybody knew what a "radar" was. One of the most important tasks had been to ensure food production. A priority was given to grow potatoes: a reliable and humble crop, usable in many ways. So after clearing an area of jungle near the settlement, a medium sized field was set up and a small hut for the storage of tools was built nearby: =================================================================== Finally! Getting back to building something, and at long last doing one of the microbuilds for one of my MRCA properties. This is supposed to be a medium sized plantation, at about 1:8 scale - meaning the 8x8 footprint above represents the 64x64 studs for a medium plantation. The hut would have a 8x8 footprint (so a small building indeed) and the field itself would be 32x32 in size. Just think how massive those jungle trees would be in normal scale! Looking forward to getting the other two microbuilds done soon, those always have some challenges of their own. As always, C&C are welcome!
  2. Aye, very well done indeed. Loving the combination of colours, and that tree build is excellent too. Good stuff! Is that a Millenium Falcon holo table for target practice?
  3. Wow, what a sight! Your collection of minifigs is very impressive. I think the variety of hair/hats, faces and bodies gives this a really ragtag look - just perfect for mercanaries. Well done! P.S.: Will we see more of that build in the background soon?
  4. Exciting times to be on the Brick Seas - or Terraversa to be more precise! This sounds very cool, and should lead to some interesting builds and stories. Thanks to the GMs working on this, looking forward to where this goes. I assume this is kind of a "beta test" for the land war rules as well? Or are those done seperately?
  5. Love how this one turned out, as I can attest to quite some reworks in the WIP phase. The attention to detail is nice, like that soldier unbinding the boat (great part usage with the whip!), or how you did the stained glass window. In contrast to others I like the mix of yellows and fleshies - diversity! Well done, and Stormhaven should be safe once more.
  6. Lovely little build, the effort put into the landscape definitely paid off! Showing off some militia from the local population is a great idea, loving the inclusion of pitchforks. No torches though? Also: good seeing you around, it has been rare lately. Good to have you.
  7. Great build, loving the attention to detail with the architecture! Nice story as well, crooked Cooke is on the loose again it seems! Also: "Opportunity in Chaos" sound like stolen from some WTC advertisement.
  8. Good build and funny story, as usual. Bad form though - unsual.
  9. They are going to blow him up? Brutal!
  10. Loving it! The rather crude design is perfect for a landing craft, and I assume you looked at floating batteries and other types of Ironclads for the hull shape? Getting quite some ACW vibes there. Well done!
  11. Aye, neat build. Now bring it to an end, once and for all! A swift beheading maybe? Or BotBS' first public disassembly of a minifig?
  12. In other words: just your regular SR backyard.
  13. How favourable the coverage is depends entirely on how well you pay...
  14. By the way: would Oleon be willing to pay for some counter propaganda factual information spread in their name? Working on the next WTCM, open to bribes, just sayin'...
  15. Great scenic build, gives me quite the D-Day vibes.
  16. @Professor Thaum Half joking, half serious here: you could retcon the raid on Stormhaven for a fitting story. The area around the settlement is decently swampy, so the raid was obviously about that, right? RIGHT?!
  17. Nice! Expect a PM shortly. Excellent, that's the spirit! You will also get a PM shortly.
  18. Yup, excellent work as always - well worth the wait! For those docking in Mesabi Landing: it was decided that the "special rules" regarding a port tax there no longer apply as written - now you can follow this procedure, but you do not have to: Could @Capt Wolf (for his own ships and those owned by Eslandola and Nova Terreli) and @Corweena (for the Nymeria) please decide what option to pick and get in contact with me if they choose the "gambling version" as described in the linked post (and spoiler).
  19. Bucket by bucket... not going to the field of politics jokes here.
  20. The WTC troops sure could use some company. For... fun and stuff.
  21. Great to see you returning to this storyline! I think it needs some more action, and you are doing some solid groundwork for that. There sure are some options to continue with this in interesting ways. What I can see of the builds I definitely like a lot - you have gotten so much better over the years! I would appreciate some OOC "whole shots", i.e. the complete builds from a bit of a distance. Most people put these under a spoiler tag to not distract from the rest of the post, and I always find them useful to chck out. So yeah, good to see Agnes again, and alraedy looking forward for where this goes in the near future!
  22. Sounds great! Looking forward to seeing them all.
  23. Great news, thanks for taking the time! I always enjoyed those island rumours, independent on how "useful" they are (sometimes more, sometimes less...). This just sounds perfect for Sea Rats, or anybody really. I must say: I am a bit jealous, so many opportunities for cool builds!
  24. The WTC just might steal that slogan.
  25. The warmongers' propaganda machine is rumbling at full speed it seems. Nicely done! The build is great too, well done @Bodi!
