Great work, this is a lovely display! The only thing I would change: add some more blue baseplates (and waves) in the front right. As it is it looks a bit unfinished to me.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Darnok replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Could be a Europe thing, but I saw most of Wave I stuff at heavy discounts in my local Smyth Toys yesterday. I think it has mostly to do with Wave I being indeed supplied in masses last year, and stores still having plenty of the sets around. -

I would absolutely love something like this. It would combine well with the old Monster Fighters builds as well as Hidden Side (as well as use the ghost parts made for HS), and could keep the fans of those lines happy. With only one set per year I also don't see TLG ever running out of good ideas for a Halloween Village. So all thumbs up for it from me! Do I believe it will actually happen? Not really - but I hope so. A man can dream, right?

As much as I love the WV line, a Halloween Village line would have me squeaking of joy like a little schoolgirl. A man can dream, right?

[SR-FB2] - Jul '620 - Fate takes a hand
Darnok replied to Kwatchi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Lovely prison cell build, I think quite a bit of effort was put into it. The RO reference fits perfectly, I also appreciate the Oleander becoming an involuntary blood donor! Now let's see what little Robin is up to next. -
[SR - FB3 - Jul 620] New FTA Galleon
Darnok replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Aye, that's a mighty fine ship. The overall design is good, the colours work well - and the figurehead is just inspired! I also really appreciate the extra effort that went into the interior. Well done, and happy sailing! -
Captain Cookie’s Pirate Training [Part 7]
Darnok replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Good stuff once more! Now if only Captain Cookie could teach us about the three seashells... -
Ha, great to see Uncle back in action! That tree build is nicely done, lovely part usage. He could either end the pirate lord Dragon - or take on the Lotus Kingdom all by himself? Especially th latter is deep in debt.

Neat little build and funny story. As a wise man once said: there is always a bigger fish!

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Awesome! I'm not sure about the "moving location", since it has been the Weelond Octoberfest from the start - and it would have its fifth anniversary! Suggestions... hrrhrr, is this a trick question? Same here. Never a fan of the real version, but I always enjoyed the BotBS incarnation a lot. -

In terms of timing it really depends on how things develop: if Terraversa goes up in flames I have no doubts we will see action until (at least) next year. However I see no reason why a tournament couldn't be played anyway. The soccer cup was entirely apolitical from the start, and getting folks together despite the ongoing tension/crisis/war would be right in character for it. In the end it comes down to whether you as a RL person have the time and will to organise and run the thing, and if you think it fits the current narrative of the game. In my opinion it is really up to you. -

Silly questions incoming... What is up with this years soccer cup? I know I still have to wrap up the 619 one with prices and stuff - I'll get there sooner or later, I promise. @Bodi and/or Oleon would be the next host, any plans already? To @Capt Wolf: Octoberfest 620, yay or nay? While it is still a good bit away: anybody up for a Christmas special this year? -
Well, I hope to catch a few birds with this one stone. Not only would it help newer players (by paying their license fee), it would also bring some activity to Mesabi Landing in both trade and builds. I quite liked the last challenge were you had to build according to MRCA outcomes - it gives more meaning to what would otherwise just be numbers in a spreadsheet, and brings more builds to the forum. Win-win-win in my opinion.

"There is no war in Ba Sing Se."

Aye, nice little build with great posing. The scene feels pretty alive for its small size, well done! I must say though: Oleon amassing ships in some ports, now recruiting troops? If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... it's Oleon going to war!

[OL-FB] Sister de Cloche's story - part 1
Darnok replied to Bodi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Yay, another religious lunatic from Oleon let loose on the Brick Seas! Seriously though: nice build, and to me this feels like a promising premise for a character arc. Looking forward to where this goes! -
They are all accounted for now: The three ones marked red just need to be removed from the Corrington sheets (the ownership of the Bully Boy II had been done correctly back then). And once again many thanks for the hard work behind the scenes!

A small property of any type (except fortification and mine) - and I will finally get back to your PM now! -
Hey, even to hear that it is already in the works is great news to me! May I have another issue please? When looking up where (my) ships ended over the last months/years, I noticed that some are not yet accountd for correctly: The ones marked yellow I could not find at all. Some could be on AMRCA duty. The ones in red should no longer show up in the Corrington fleet sheet, but still do. There is still plenty of time before the next TMRCA, and maybe @Capt Wolf can help as well? As always: thanks in advance!
