Speed Champions - Chevy Camaro ZL1 & Mclaren Senna
LM71Blackbird replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the suggestion! I would really like the Bugatti Chiron and maybe the LMP1 cars as well. I'll definitely add these ones to the list though! -
So after much deliberation, and unfortunately missing all of the first few years I've finally bought two speed champions sets! CC & MS by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Overall, they were a blast to build for such small builds and I'm hoping to get the rest of the singles soon as well!

The only option is to set fire to the entire island... immediately... Great build RoadMonkey! You've added some nice details throughout! -
Thanks @leafan and @Digger of Bricks for the shoutout! It is much appreciated!

Your welcome! Yeah, I know what you mean, just don't let Bregir catch you. It doesn't really matter how you spell it because everyone knows what your talking about. It's just a personal pet peeve.- 5 replies

Nice little build you've got here! Also, another good use of your ship! To all: the settlement that I am mayor of is spelled with 2 n's... Q-u-i-n-n-s-v-i-l-l-e. No one spells it right () so I just figured I'd let you all know.- 5 replies

Leadership can give a definitive answer but, the way I understand it, the build has to be of sufficient quality. More than just minifigs on a base plate. -

Thank you! I wish I had darker red masonry bricks as well! I've only got the ones from the forest police station though. Thanks! I'm glad that I was able to convey that classic look! I may have enough tiles in brown to tile a small floor like this... Landscaping is something that I find fun, but just don't have near the pieces I would want for it!- 9 replies

[GOC] Patroling at the beach
LM71Blackbird replied to Legonaut's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great looking beach scene! I like the irregular baseplate and the little cliff is nice as well. The only thing I would have done is make the troops in a walking position rather then standing, but that is minor criticism. -
[GoC] Northern Garrison Today, mayor Richard Brickford was making the trek up to one of the garrisons of the Quinnsville Fusiliers. It was located on a northern section of what is known as the Fist. Richard was going up to meet with the garrison commander. The mayor was accompanied by a few regulars that were heading up to relieve the currently stationed regulars. The men were cooking up a fine lunch of roasted fish before they would accompany the mayor back into town. Up on the roof, a roofer was replacing a few damaged shingles. Island weather can be rough on building at times. The Garrison commander was happy to see the mayor and even happier to report that everything was operating smoothly in the Northern reaches of Quinnsville. ------------------------------------- Interior pics in the spoiler! My second entry for the Redcoats Rule! GoC project. I had quite a lot of fun building this one. This is a first time for the roof design and angled building style for me. C&C are welcome and apprecieated and thanks for looking! @Bregir @Ayrlego @Captain Dee @SilentWolf

Oh, Ok! Didn't even think about that. I thought is was only troops owned by Quinnsville.
-
@Phred I noticed a possible error for Quinnsville regarding the troop amount. The account says there are 120 stationed troops but I think there should only be 90. The 30 from Tomsche's build, and the 60 from my build. If you could check on that for me I would be most grateful. Thanks!

I like it! It looks very Caribbean. I think the colors go very nice together as well. -
A great looking vessel! Great idea for getting those angles on the ship, it looks like a proper piece of junk! I like the way you did the color scheme as well, the dark grey, then black. The only thing that seems odd to me is the rudder, it kind of seems to just be floating in mid air the way its attached.
