  1. I believe it is a Brickarms crate lid. @Mesabi can confirm this though?
  2. Another nice build! The buildings are nicely broken and battered and the water turned out great! Having the WTC marine fishing is a great touch as is the TNT floating in the water. Overall, another nice build. But clean that boat!
  3. Looking good Mesabi! Great looking details and a marked improvement overall. The irregular shaped base is nice and the items strewn across the landscape are positioned well. Goo job on the broken rail line as well.
  4. A great looking ship Bodi! You've got some fantastic shapes on it.
  5. Looking good so far @Mesabi! Drunknok and elostrion have some solid suggestions. Another idea for a future build would be a levy. Like what they have around New Orleans. As do I!
  6. A build that I missed as well! Fantastic details, something new to see every time you look at the pictures. Beautiful layout and great start to a settlement!
  7. Great job! Only thing I would have done different was to put some glass on the VW van. Other than, fantastic!
  8. That happens occasionally. I usually check back later or sometimes refreshing the page a few times clears up the issue. It's a big spreadsheet.
  9. One of the best things off seen all day. Definitely made me chuckle!
  10. Oh, I know! It's something I have been talking about for a while in several different areas. I'm just excited for when it becomes a reality. I definitely agree with this. I third this!
  11. No problem. For me at least, was a reminder that we should all be in this to have fun. Real life is stressful enough, let's not let it seep into our hobby! I agree with this 110%! I strive to be as helpful as leadership and oftentimes fall short! War is what I'm truly waiting for. Not that I'm bloodthirsty or anything, but games like Risk have always been a personal favorite of mine... so being able to do that in Lego would be a dream come true. Lol...
  12. On that note... where is @SkaForHire? I can't remember actually ever seeing him since I joined...
  13. On another topic: we've made this forum hot with over 1200 replies in such a short amount of time!
  14. Well, frankly, you're right... Leadership is a voluntary thing, and this is simply a game with grown-up playing with our toys... we should be more considerate of the time and effort that you guys put into it to make it fun for all of us. Unfortunately though, you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all the time... While it would probably be vastly unpopular, have you guys considered a hard reset or loading an older save of the game? Yeah, every month I think it's gonna be hundreds of Dbs because of the amount of ships I run, but I hardly notice it...
  15. And I look forward to the results! Well, I certainly hope it gives a reason for more raids to be conducted. Now, I know I've missed the happenings of Era 1, but after almost a year in Bobs, one problem I see is that there is too much peace... ( What!?!?!) In the age of sail somebody was always at war! England and Spain fought for decades over the new world and then France joined in on the action when Spain's fleet was decimated. Then later there was the French and Indian war, the American Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, etc. Right now, all the factions (even the Searats) are just being peaceful traders... nothing wrong with that, but it seems to just make it a trading game, without all the danger and uncertainty of being overrun by an enemy.
  16. Well, that's not really to hard... Bart and I figured out a reason to fight in a few hours...
  17. Not bad! Poppy port hits the top 3 for settlement income. Leadership has stated before that they would like to keep the MRCA's on a 4-6 week schedule. They also stated that they want to make it so not just one person can calculate the results as to keep it on time. While I like bits of this update and I commend the leadership for thinking all this through... rather than raising the price of everything and dropping our profits to a mere pittance, we need a reason to spend money. For example, if you launched land combat, we would be draining our own coffers and fight ourselves into poverty! As do I, the risk is what makes it fun.
  18. Just checked out of curiosity... and actually, Quinnsville beats out all the settlements (even Mesabi Landing) on monthly income with 99dbs a month!
  19. Thanks Legostone! Yeah, now that I put some more thought into it, Mayoral pays can go... Right! Certain people have 5 figures in their accounts... More expensive sister-ships would be a way to combat it. Just knowing it kinda, shorta, maybe will be lowered eventually clears up my doubts.
  20. @Drunknok Quinnsville thread edited! Just some questions and my 2 cents on the whole matter at hand: 'Royal' / Great Properties A question about Royal properties... I may have miss understood this but, is one of the rule changes that players can't have royal properties (Except for houses)? So, for example, if I build a Royal property for Quinnsville, the settlement has to license it because I can't? If that's the case then that would mean I'd have to transfer the money to Quinnsville, and then license it... seems like it would just make it more complicated to me... This seems fair. I assume that the faction bonuses on properties is still in effect though, correct? This is a FANTASTIC addition!!! Forts Hmm… this is nice as well, I guess... Forts can still be dismantled though correct? Because if they can't Quinnsville will be bankrupt before summer. Other This is a good idea. I don't really see a need for this... If you rely on mayors pay to buy stuff in BoBs then you already have a problem... Nothing really to say. Kinda indifferent to this one... This seems a bit extreme... do you want people to keep building ships? This isn't really used abundantly to start with but what about a 1 1/2 cost instead of double?
  21. Will do! What was it licensed as? Commerce?
  22. In regards to the royal properties... my initial reaction was - "this sucks!" However, I really like the idea that a settlement needs some royal properties to advance to the next level. It would be unrealistic to have a capital city with hundreds of small properties everywhere. But overall, I think these are all great additions to the game and I'm looking forward to seeing the fully implemented!
