  1. Fantastic build! The technic 1x1 bricks for the shots are a great idea and the overall destruction atmosphere is very well captured, including the crystals in the window.
  2. Great build! I like a lot the atmosphere of the build, very SWish. The droid build is very creative. Nice story as well. That skeleton piece is new to me, from what set is it?
  3. Nice models! The engines of the X-Wing are a bit small and stand at a higher position from the wing, but overall quite good. The TIE Reaper proportions are more accurate and I like the details of the top, although the wings have some angles difficult to replicate. There is a place for the pilot, which is very nice. I like the non-free stud wings for playable models, as they have less weight. I feel them better for children to play with, which is for me an important goal, as my children are always waiting me to finish a build to play with. Great job! Does it have the landing ramp for the Death Troopers?
  4. It’s a fun nudge to the classic kenner mos eisley cantina of course. It’s actually a missed opportunity from Lego’s side to not include him. Snaggletooth is also my 2nd favorite alien from the classic star wars toys, so i would have loved to see him as a minifig one day. (I have him as a kubrick and that version is also really nice. Gives me a good idea how a lego minifig could look like) Now with the momentum of the MBS Cantina, it would be great if Lego creates side sets and/or battle pack with additional characters. This would help in both ways: the ones who would want the cantina would be able to complement it. The ones who would want the side-sets would be more interested in the MBS Cantina.
  5. Those new minifigs look great, specially the Garindan and although the Saurin has the same mold as a Trandoshan, at least color is matched. There would be plenty of spieces still for a cantina battle pack or small side build.
  6. I guess for Lego renewing the SW license is a no brainer.
  7. These MBS sets recall me a lot of Lego Ideas sets, which many have good displayability and playability. A popular MOC or desirable MOC design is translated into a Lego set. A perfect example is the 21322 Barracuda Bay set. To me the process for this one is, in its essence, about the same, without the Lego Ideas voting of course.
  8. The interior is great, on par with the exterior. I hoped the Saurin would be a new mold, although it seems that it isn't going to be the case based on that blurred picture.
  9. Got a second OT X-Wing and a second Moloch's landspeeder on clearance (40% off). First one to have the pair of Red-3 and Red-5, second one for the minifigs and good pieces for other MOCs.
  10. Great job with those two builds. If you could post more photos in this topic, it would be even better .
  11. Great build! Proportions are quite good and the size is perfect for bigger MOCs.
  12. I hope so, the design already exists in CG form and it's quite good. It would have been the star of the show in the Cantina set for sure, now we have to wait and keep hope. I have the feeling that Tatooine sets sell quite well hence the number in the last years. Obi Wan's hut hit the nail design wise. And a Bantha would have been perfect for that set as well.
  13. Similar boat here, my copy of the razor crest just arrived and my entire family has each declared their intentions to steal the baby yoda figure. For some characters, I also prefer to have a second copy that I carefully save. Baby Yoda will be one of them for sure, unless it will be easily available. Many unique characters have appeared more or less equal over time in smaller sets, that make them a better target for my children. But I don't know what I could do with Baby Yoda, because it's the hot spot of the Razor set and my children have it in their radar...
  14. It seems like a no-brainer to me too, and I would have expected it to be in the January wave. But from what I've seen, it's MIA. I would love to be wrong about this. If not, best hope is that it will show up as a store exclusive, or maybe the wave that comes out a year from now (at which point Mando season 3 would be airing, so...?) It it were true, it should be ready for Christmas, to have the hero and the main villain in the same shelf. But I guess I'll be proved wrong.
  15. I think its just that what you Say, displayability was the issue. Maybe it would have been difficult to make an unfolding funktion, but they could have made a removable Rolf and adding anotgrr 50 euros on the price tag I purchased the Cloud City set even if I would like it to be more like the Death Star. To me the set was good enough and balanced (specially with the discount) to justify having the pieces and the minifigs and make the changes to fit my taste just myself. It's Lego. I wouldn't put there the mid scale Slave I and save the pieces for other usages, but that's just me. Here with the Cantina Lego is hitting the spot, IMO. They are calling it MBS, so this isn't technically a collectors set. However, it's displayability is very good; minifig selection is excellent, it could be better (e.g. with a Bantha fig), but it is excellent; and playability is also very good. I use to buy larger SW sets for me, but I really like seeing my children playing with them, like with the Death Star or the Cloud City and modify/extend them. In this case, l'll rebuild my larger Cantina MOC as other side Tatooine buildings with my children just for fun. It's perfect to be displayed close to the UCS Sandcrawler.
  16. Great work! The ship is awesome with so many angles, the interior, and the way it stands up on that small lower section.
  17. Thanks for the comparison. 75294 is an interesting section upgrade to 75222, which in turn needs many other upgrades by the way.
  18. I dont buy that, I think it doesn't look like a crystal but a micro fig. My guess is vader from when the troopers are looking for the droids. If that were the case, I would like for sure to stand corrected.
  19. Now that Lego is starting to get that Master Builder Series thing right, a Yavin IV set would be great.
  20. Great build overall and specially that rounded Fondor build. The trident is also very nice and the overall building is just completely unique. Great (again).
  21. Thanks for the comments! I tried to do something different instead of the usual building techniques. It's difficult to innovate on star destroyer bridge building design in lego
  22. Nice bridge! Very clean and people seem busy on their affairs.
  23. Thanks! Making an action scene in Lego isn't always easy, but I felt that Cat A would be a good candidate for that kind of build.
  24. The main ship with this resolution is impressive and the overall shape is very unique. Great work!
  25. Very interesting build with a not so easy to use color scheme. The ships are very unique which is nice. The cross exercise is... quite challenging!
