  1. Nice build! You captured very well the essence of The Mandalorian.
  2. Awesome build!! Very clean, excellent playability and display-ability. It has so many details... Interiors are excellent and ship internal stuff cut offs are great.
  3. Yes, VAT in the EU varies mostly from 17% to 27% with many countries at 21% or around it, that's one of the reasons the same set is priced so differently in EU countries. But VAT prices doesn't explain all the differences. For instance, in Germany VAT is 19% and in Spain is 21% but many sets in the range of 50-100€ are priced consistently 5-10€ more. Never understood the logic behind... a mystery box . OTOH, we get interesting discounts at specific times in the range of 20-40% in big mall chains though.
  4. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions for improvements!
  5. Great build! Quite clean and interesting build techniques. I like specially the floor, the table and the main chair. Very effective.
  6. Excellent build. You really captured the atmosphere of a luxury SW hall and high status of the guests. Wall decorations and floor patterns are quite nice.
  7. Wow! Do you really have all those pieces in that color or is it painted afterwards? For many of them I never expected to be in that color. Nice alien landscape, btw.
  8. If I recall well, the 2014 AT-AT version was about 120€ for 1137 pieces. Promobrics german site (see this link) says the new AT-AT it will be 150€ for 1267 pieces. As the comparison is for two versions of the same build, we could assume that the pieces count is roughly comparable. This one has one additional minifig, a snow speeder bike, and the thing is a bit bigger overall: it has a bigger head, the main body it is longer by 4-5 studs and wider by at least 2 studs. That allows to have complete feet unlike the 2014 version. If that's the case, I would say that for that price it wouldn't be overpriced adjusting the inflation since 2014. It also has a better, more playable design, which is perfect for children.
  9. I have seen the new AT-AT high quality images in a youtube video. Now I have to say that this version is an interesting improvement over the 2014 version I have. The head has two pilots + General Veers, which is very good. The shape of the head is also more accurate than the 2014 version. The main body is about 4-5 studs larger, so it could somehow compensate the bigger head proportions. Better photos would tell us if that's the case. The main body interior structure is way better developed as it has now more space for snow troopers and a snow speeder bike. It also has a string wheel device to move up and down Luke. All of those features make the set a very playable one. So to me, this set could be the best SW set of the year. Let's see if it's priced reasonably.
  10. Impressive. The skeleton is fantastic! Great small work.
  11. That boat usage for the Silooth is just great! Good work!
  12. This slug is very effective being angled and with the fire. I like the base as well.
  13. I really like this Dragonsnake! The head is very detailed and convincing. Great work!
  14. Nice library shot, very effective. The table and the chair are quite good as well. Many times we don't have enough parts for what we would like to build. Choosing the right angles for the shots and limiting the size can help a lot.
  15. Great dragons! They are quite big and effective in the scene. The scene itself is very nice. I like the rocks place and the surrounding forest formations.
  16. Interesting 40th anniversary AT-AT. I wonder how much the body structure differs from the 2014 one. If the head now holds two drivers plus General Veers that would be a good improvement but I fear the head will be too bulky overall for the set.
  17. *Your entry has earned 8 XP* The dragon was indeed close to some Balmorra hangars, frequently used by contrabandists. It has escaped and now it is freely moving around the hangars. Gruntar: Here is the dragon! Watch out your side! 8-LOM: Don't know how are we going to do this... It's hungry. Gruntar: So you'll be safe 8-LOM, don't worry that much. Gruntar: Fahne, watch out that tail! 8-LOM: Move on, the ground operator won't survive more than a few seconds... Beware of those teeth, they are much bigger than yours!
  18. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* After the hunt of the mysterious Republic cargo ship in Grizmallt, Fahne and her team is reporting about the current state of the affairs in a secret safe house somewhere in the inmense Grizmallt city. There are many things to iron out but also a new strange request: Fahne: We have the cargo. It wasn't easy but finally we got it. Sorry that we haven't answered before, but we were in the middle of the raid when you called us. Groodun: These coaxium containers costs several fortunes. It is surprising that they had so few protection. Hologram: Good. Even better than expected. I would suppose that their move was to pass unnoticed with such a cargo, a risky move a would say. Now they shall be very upset. Did you find anything else? Fahne: Anything else? No, I think we have found much more than what we thought. Hologram: Those are bad news. Groodun: There was nothing else in the convoy, but we still retain the republic spy. Hologram: Good. Let us see if the spy has anything else to tell us. Fahne: What are we going to do with the cargo? We cannot hold it too much time. Hologram: We shall have time to discuss about the cargo later. Now I would like you to bring me back from Balmorra something that has been stolen. Fahne: Sure. We have already sent part of the team there. What's that about? Hologram: Just an animal. But I want it alive. Otherwise it will have no value for me. Fahne: Ok. Hologram: I am sending the details to you. Please, remember: alive.
  19. Thanks! As a curiosity, I've also found that those rotating wings are actually better for entering in small hangars
  20. Wow! This is a fantastic build! Very well balanced and with so many details. I specially like the Scarif sea with the Stormtroopers and the bottom of the mine, which is very interesting with those unaligned pieces. The ugly starfighter isn't that ugly I would say. It's quite nice built.
  21. *Your entry has earned 5 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* The findings in Grizmallt has lead the droids to Balmorra for a secret task. R2-D9: beeep-blop-beoeep [We have other two star fighters close] 8-LOM: We should not destroy anyone else so close to the planet. We should pass unnoticed. R2-D9: bep-bloop?-blooup [Where did you find this horrendous ship? Cannot fully get the controls] 8-LOM: Don't ask.
  22. Good work @Midlife-crisis. I think your proportions are getting better. You might consider looking at this for checking out proportions: Razor Crest design
  23. The selection of just one normal Sith trooper is weird. If there were two of them the set would be close to perfect for a battle pack. The sand blue pieces are quite useful as well.
