Oh I had no idea this thread existed! My best idea for a plausible CMF series is Gravity Falls. I’d love to see TLG tackle the series, despite that it ended almost two years ago. Dipper (pine tree hat) with Journal #3 — new hair/hat mold Mabel (shooting star sweater) with Grappling Hook — new hair mold Stan (suit) with money and cane — new hair/hat mold Soos with Stan bobblehead — bobblehead is printed on trophy piece Wendy with axe — new hat/hair mold Stanford with Bill — new hair mold and new Bill mold that has clip on back that attaches to a transparent rod Gideon with Journal #2 — new hair mold Pacifica with Pitt Cola and golf club — new hair mold Candy with board game — board game is a printed 2x3 tile on top of a 2x3 plate Grenda with Boyz Crazy poster — poster is 2x3 printed tile Robbie with guitar and CD McGucket with Society of the Blind Eye Gun — new hat/beard and gun molds Schmebulock with Gompers Dipper (original hat) with Who is the Author? board — board is a printed 2x3 tile Mabel (Llama sweater and Smile Dip face print) with Waddles — new Waddles mold Stan (tank top and boxers) with Journal #1 The journals are the same as the Nexo Knights books and when opened can make the picture of the portal in the basement.

I’m fairly certain that we’ll get students from all 4 houses in the CMF. It makes the most sense so we can collect multiples of the torsos way easier than keeping them exclusive to an expensive set. Just like how TLBM gave us Joker in a jumpsuit on the CMF series or how Ninjago gave us Nya in the gi.

Total Drama would work perfectly as a CMF series with maybe some basic sets or a D2C of Camp Wawankwa or the Jumbo Jet. With 80+ contestants it could go on for a while. Plus we’d get some pretty cool new hair pieces!! Avatar: The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra would be great to have back! I sadly never got a chance to pick up either of the ATLA sets and, admittedly, they’re pretty ugly and dated by now. Some proper redesigns would be much appreciated and there are plenty of potential sets and minifigs I could see Lego coming out with. Crash Bandicoot would be another great theme to have! Tons of mechs and villains, Crash’s house and maybe some Minecraft-like sets full of crates and wumpa colored apples that you can build and rearrange to make different types of levels for Crash to run through.

He looks pretty similar to the Mojo from Dimensions. Might be exactly what we’re getting. Anyways, both sets look fairly cheap with is nice. I despise the new PPG but I’ll probably pick these up anyways. I prefer the playground set over the other in terms of design. An actual full blown Cartoon Network them sounds like a dream. I don’t know how realistic it would be, however. A lot of characters from certain shows would need specially molded heads to look accurate, (Courage, Gumball, Billy and Mandy) so maybe a CMF series like the Simpsons? But then other shows have the potential for some really interesting sets (Steven Universe, Ed Edd n Eddy, Kids Next Door, Dexters Lab) so it’s a toss up. And would the Ed’s need molded heads or would Black Panther type caps work? Same with Dexter, molded head or could he look good with a unique glasses and hair combo piece? If anything, I’d expect Adventure Time and Teen Titans Go! to receive sometime soon. The latter (sadly) has a higher chance since DC is already so beloved by Lego and they have a theatrical film coming up.

Concept art of the Friends via Todd Kaufman. I like some of these designs and hair styles more than what we got. Hope the male torso becomes a real thing!

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

The new dress piece is exactly hw I’ve been picturing one for years. So happy about it. Yoda’s hut is cute and if I hadn’t picked up his Starfighter this summer, I’m sure I’d purchase it. Might have to pass on it and bricklink his torso. And hey! That’s the first fleshie Dagobah Luke ever! Hi-res images of the new Falcon actually make me like it less, which I guess I shouldn’t complain about for my wallets sake. Qi’ra sports a Friends hairpiece in it. Is this the first time a Friends wig has appeared in a non-minidoll theme? Chewbacca looks absolutely terrible and Lando looks great. -
Some minidoll style sets based around Star Wars Forces of Destiny seem like such an inevitable idea. I’m surprised we haven’t gotten some already. I don’t necessarily want any for myself, but thinking up ideas for some and the new molds is sorta fun. I feel like they’d be primarily location based and like the series, be mainly girl oriented. There could be a cheap Sabine’s bedroom set featuring a changable spray painted wall. Rey’s home with a helmet and pilot doll statue. A Hoth echo base play set with Leia, Chewie and C3P0. A large Endor Ewok Village Party set with Leia, Han and some new Ewok molds similar to the Elves trolls. Also a new spring green Yoda mold that could come with his hut, Luke and a cutified R2

These are amazing! Amazing!!!! If I could request a character or two perhaps Ketsu Onyo and Saw Gerara? Also I’d like to see Ezra, Kanan and Sabine with darker skin as well. And if we’re on the topic of recolors could you do Zeb in sand purple? I know its a discontinued color but I’ve always thought it’s the prefect Lego color to represent him. Great work!

Todd Kaufman, director and character designer of Total Drama (one of my favorite cartoons) shared on his Facebook that he was the one to redesign the Friends girls. Just putting this here in case anyone would like to know.

The price is honestly better than I expected. Still pretty expensive, but for a licensed set it could definitely be worse. The only figs I already own out of the the ones included are Batman and Harley, but I agree that it should be a Batman varaiant rather than the typical one. There’s no way anybody’s buying this doesn’t already own one. Batgirl should be in one of her alternative costumes rather than her usual attire. The build is amazingly Andy I’m surprised at how faithful it looks. Not to mention how many details are packed in. Hoepful that FAF Alfred is included in the CMF with his guitar.

I hope at least Harry, or Ron, or both, get updated hair. As of now, they both have the Skateboarder hair and that bothers me. IMO, the main three should all get new unique hair pieces. None of th ones currently in use match very well.

If the alleged CMF series doesn't include baby Harry as someone's accessory, this whole spectualation will be worthless.

In the past few years, Lego has released several cheap sets, none costing more than $30 that have included Luke, Obi Wan, C3PO, R2, Yoda, Vader, two Hans, two Bobas, the Emperor, Chewie, Dengar, Bossk, IG88 and 4LOM. I'd love to get a cheaper set that includes Leia. The most realistic one I can imagine happening is an Endor themed set with her, Wicket, another Ewok, a Scouttrooper and maybe 3PO. I missed the Ewok Village set so this would be desirable for me at least. I cant picture a good set with any action features for the Death Star escape or a cheap Bespin playset including her, and I doubt we'll ever get another Slave Leia set, or a Hoth themed set so soon after that recent mess, so Endor is all that really works for her.

The sets look amazing. I actually plan to get all of them for once. I don't yet have a Mace Windu, Grevious, Coleman Treblr or Ki Adi Mundi. Also the Tatooine battle pack will go alongside well with the Landspeeder! i just bought Yoda's Starfighter this Summer for my first Yoda and an updated R2, but I'll still get his hut since I've wanted that scene for so long. -
Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

Seeing Donald's headpiece reused gives me hope we could one day have a Howard the Duck fig. Ideally, since the MCU is getting so vast and surely newer fans of Lego will be disappointed they can no longer buy sets based off of the older films, maybe Lego could start releasing sets based on past movies. I bring this up because the possibility of a Howard the Duck could give us a Collector's museum set based of the first GOTG. They could reuse the new Krypto mold for Cosmo's body, throw in a Collector fit to appease people who want him, Howard, and whoever else seems fit. Another idea I had was Midtown Science High School for Homecoming with some mild spoilers. Make it similar to one of the Friends school sets with an open backside. It could include Peter, Spider-Man, Ned, Liz, Michelle, Flash and The Shocker. The inside could include a gym with a TV that has an image of Cap on it, a science lab with Peter's beaker of web, a Death Star printed on a grey head if they wanna be really meta, lifting lockers that reveal another canister of web, and a computer room for Ned. Maybe included a school bus to throw at Spidey too. And with this, we could receive sets and figures that ARENT based off of concept art for films such as The Avengers or Iron Man 3. They could even correct figures who look a little bit off.. Olive Green Avengers Hulk, Quicksilver with TLNM Lloyd hair, etc Who knows, maybe we'd get an Iron Man vs the Iron Monger Arc Reactor Explosion set from the first IM or some Winter Soldier sets? The possibilities are endless! -
Wow! Every single figure in this wave is brand new. Even Superman, who is technically just the old figure with his DCEU hairpiece, but it's the thought that counts I guess! The lack of leg printing doesn't really bother me on anyone besides Cyborg, who looks awkwardly plain with just torso printing. I prefer this torso to the old one, so I guess I'll just do some mixing and matching. Batman looks weird to me now that I'm so used to seeing his TLBM version so much. Actually, now that I think of it, I don't think there's been a 'regular' Batman figure I've really liked. They've all seemed sorta bland to me. That Wonder Woman looks amazing, as do Cheeta, Firestorm, Lobo and Reverse Flash. My favorite part of the line up is Krypto! I'll be sure to pick up that set ASAP. The other two will probably be after clearance, or after I've bought all of the other sets that interest me in the Winter. I do like how this wave has a story that make the sets feel connected. Hopefully that becomes a staple in both this and the comic Marvel sets in the next few years.

What future LEGO Movies would you like to see happen?
saysonder replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
As would I. That, or a Lego Star Wars movie in the same tone, but I don't think it's even possible. Maybe Disney would be able to allow certain Marvel or Star Wars characters to fill supporting roles like Batman did in The Lego Movie, given that they already OK'd the Millenium Falcon showing up and Iron Man being mentioned in the two films.- 97 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
saysonder replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sorry to disrupt this crazy future set discussion, but did anybody else receive two sticker sheets in the Bane Toxic Truck Attack set? The Egghead mech will be a first day purchase for me, as well Harley's truck depending on the price. I've been half following this discussion, and I can't remember, but if Hawkgirl is included in the party set, I'll be sure to swoop that up too. -

Infinity War is set 4 years after GOTG2. Groot will be back to his full size again for this film. -
I'd like to see a set with Poison Ivy as the only villain. Every set she's been included in, she's been amongst a few others. With the new Venus fly trap pieces from the City sets, we could very well get a giant plant monster for her to control. Maybe include Batgirl with a black version of her TLBM movie with an orange pony tail. I'm an avid hater of Teen Titans Go, but the dimensions figs have really grown on me, and seeing the screenshot of Robin and Cyborg makes me salty we aren't getting physical versions of them. Maybe we could get a $30 Juniors set of Titans Tower + them and perhaps a villain. The other day I put the babysitter hair on Supergirl and thought she looked phenomenal. While I don't necessarily *want* this set, a Might Micro with that variation of her vs one of the villains from her show would be very attractive.

I hope if Gamora is included in an Infinity War set, TLG updates her hair. The Elsa hair is completely inaccurate. The Justice League Aquaman hair is pretty much spot. And on a related note, TLG missed a huge opportunity including a microfig with wings for Tinker Bell in either the Peter Pan CMF or Disney Castle D2C. They could have reused it for Wasp, assuming they make one for her, which I'm crossing my fingers for. -
I knew absolutely nothing about Avatar besides it having blue aliens until now.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Haha, thanks for that. I'm slightly bummed about no cheap Ivy but now I can have her fig earlier -
Just saw Wonder Woman the other day. Went out and bought the Warrior Battle set immediately afterwards. I know most people were complaining about the inaccuracies of Ares or the plane, but I gotta say, the Steve Trevor minifig is my biggest let down. Chris Pine has such a distinct face. His eyebrows are totally unmatchable. Needless to say, I'm ticked he has the same face print as Hawkeye and Cap. Additionally, his hair piece AND color are inaccurate. He should have either the barista or Zombie Business Man hair in medium sand brown or whatever it's called. Same color as young Anakin and Zombie Cheerleader.
