  1. I don't think it has ever been delayed. Scriptwriters for the film were announced by WB back in March 2015, but we haven't really heard anything about it since then.
  2. Current Line-Up: January 2018 - Batman Movie Series 2 May 2018 - Series 18 (Costume Party Theme) September 2018 - Nothing Confirmed (Ninjago Movie Series 2 / Unnamed Licensed Series / Wizard Of Oz) January 2019 - Nothing Confirmed (Lego Movie 2 Series 1) May 2019 - Nothing Confirmed (Series 19) Did I miss anything? Also ignore the "quote" at the top, this is my post not whoever is quoted at the top for some reason. The May 2019 series may be a CMS for the 5/24/2019 slated The Billion Brick Race movie. I doubt Lego won't do a CMS for the film, meaning S19 may come in September 2019 at earliest, unless WB delays the film.
  3. Social media most likely plays a factor. Therefore, most of the 10,000 voters are probably not AFOLs, with many Ideas accounts maybe created by non-AFOLs to support such a project. The question is, is this the case for most 10K projects?
  4. Done right, cyberpunk could be another great source of inspiration for Creator sets! I've always seen Tron Legacy as inspiration for the designs and color schemes for Ultra Agents' vehicles, so Lego has touched upon that somewhat. Another genre I initially considered in my initial post was steampunk, but I think the genre's color choices would not make it suitable for Creator. Steampunk mostly depends on browns, black, metallics, and darker "earth" colors. But we'll just have to see how Creator evolves.
  5. I don't care much for costumed CMFs, so I didn't think much of this figure until I saw this. In a way, the rocket costume was used a a literal vehicle for this torso.
  6. http://screenrant.com/lego-movie-2-original-ending-will-ferrell-fourth-wall/ This article speculates that Chris Pratt's comments about the sequel's "fourth wall breaking" may actually be what Chris McKay's "space" implication refer too. Perhaps that's plausible, maybe? Same here! I've seen a lot of people clamoring for a retro spaceman, but I've always expected a 50's bubble helmeted space explorer before this.
  7. Oh, you're talking about Fantastic Beasts. Since you responded to J3D1-T's post, I thought you were talking about 2018's The Incredibles 2, since that was the subject he was discussing in response to my post.
  8. Same here, of course. I also think other sci-fi building genres would make great 3 in 1 set material. For instance, mecha, dieselpunk, retro comic strip space, GARC( Galactic Asteroid Rally Circuit) racers, retro Jetsons style hovercars, and sky-fi would all make great sets with a colorful vibe appropriate for Creator. Here are some great MOC examples for sky-fi, GARC, and hovercar genres.
  9. Hope to see more too, especially more stuff like this for S17's Retro Space Hero.
  10. The two tone green one is the best! I personally like steam locomotives over diesel, particularly 1930s streamlined ones, but these designs with a middle centered cab look great. That way, they resemble long hooded automobiles.
  11. Dieselpunk and retrofuturism are some my two favorite building genres, and these are some the best locomotive designs for the genres for what few there are. The one in Cool Yellow utilizing the arch bricks up front is probably my favorite.
  12. When it was revealed, 10252 became an instant top favorite of mine, primarily due to all the Dark Azure bricks and new wheel well bow bricks it introduced! I've seen Creator Mini Cooper alt- builds before, but still never thought of alternate possibilities for the Beetle until seeing this. Amazing work! Looking forward to the next model!
  13. Not sure, but Disney has rescheduled IJ5 for July 2020. What do you mean by "creatures"?
  14. Seeing what Lego has done for Pixar's Cars 3 this year as a subtheme of Juniors, what perhaps would be done for The Incredibles 2 next year if Lego were to do sets for the film? Would it get its own theme like Toy Story 3 and Cars 2 did, or would it be subthemed under Juniors and Duplo for sets like Cars 3 did this year?
  15. https://brickset.com/article/28074/review-60154-bus-station Here is Brickset's review of 60154 Bus Station. I was surprised by the new part in this set, part no. 32739, mentioned in this review. I hope for a four wide version this piece in the future, perhaps.
  16. Robots are the closest thing to sci-fi Lego has ever done for Creator, with sets like 2015's 31034 Future Flyer or 2011's 5764 Rescue Robot for example. Along with Classic Space styled spacecrafts, I would like to see more Jaeger type piloted mecha for Creator (think Pacific Rim). There was an impressive Creator Designer set made in 2004 called the Titan XP (set no. 4508) that pretty much fit this bill. I was not aware of this set until browsing Brickset for sand blue parts when I found this.
  17. Well, plausibly I've always thought a Space Police/ Agents fusion theme would fly well. Instead of nameless cops, the heroes of the theme would be special intelligence ops, undercover agents working to foil a third iteration of Blacktron. The theme could have unique, individual heroes and villains, somewhat like 2014's Ultra Agents, making it a character and storyline driven theme. Now putting plausiblity aside, a space theme I really would like to see would be a 20s, 30s comic strip inspired space theme (think Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon fare). It could bring us many retro rocketcraft type sets, something I haven't seen much of amongst fan creations. The only thing is, it is the type of space theme I could not see coexisting at the same time alongside Star Wars, since it falls into the space fantasy genre much like Star Wars. Having said all that, this is a good shift of topic for further discussion.
  18. Fun at the Zoo is my pick, but the theme park would be second.
  19. Brickset has their set review of 60153 Fun at the Beach up. https://brickset.com/article/28046/review-60153-fun-at-the-beach
  20. Here is a YouTube review posted today of 70915 Two Face Double Demolition. https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=ynRIkQoAhsM
  21. That the Batwing cockpit seats two is nice also, and the grebble-ing on the wings with the Nexo shields I like also.
  22. Plastic Man has a prevalent part in the Justice League Action TV show, so perhaps he could be in potential TV show based sets, utilizing the new Ms Marvel stretchy arms and torso mold again. Also, he would be classic, not 52 style.
  23. Back in 2015, when WB announced the DCEU release date lineup, I knew that comic based sets released there on would be little to none. 2018 I thought would have more room maybe, with Aquaman and Flash movies maybe only giving us single retailer exclusive sets. Now with Aquaman alone being released at the tail end of 2018, it sort of is kind of a relief, giving us plenty of open space. Winter 2018 though may be limited for DC to give room for a presumed third TLBM wave and rumored second minifigure series.
  24. Just, wow! The vertical landing/takeoff mechanism is unbelievable! It is the best part of this set! The articulation of the wings is great too, much like the wheel articulation of TLBM Batmobile. The reviewer showed also this model's strength, which is pretty much unshakable. I've mentioned this in another thread, but the Batwing's cargo hull and Robin go kart is I think the designers' humorous take on the JL Flying Fox.
