  1. Perhaps, I also could see at least one set based on Sony's animated Miles Morales Spiderman movie for 2018. Not sure if it is still active, but Lego has a licence with Columbia (Sony) for Ghostbusters, so I couldn't see ruling the possibility out yet. Also, Disney got merchandising rights to TASM2 back in 2014, so maybe the same could be for Sony's animated film next year.
  2. Hard to tell, but does part no. 22391( pictured below) in the upcoming JL Battle of Atlantis set look like it is in Titanium Metallic( Brickset color name)?
  3. I suppose Lego will wait to see if the show is successful enough to warrant products. It would be interesting to see other TLM characters crossover into the show for cameos, but I doubt it.
  4. The "how's my driving" detail is funny. Vulture's jacket is pretty cool, can be repurposed for many things, and his helmet's print is nice too. Maybe could be used for something sci-fi.
  5. Brothers Brick has his review up! http://www.brothers-brick.com/2017/05/10/go-launch-lego-ideas-21309-nasa-apollo-saturn-v-review/
  6. So the molded detail extends beyond the bolts. Its nice for those who like accurate detail, but not much more can be expected for resourceful reuse of the mold by Lego beyond its intended purpose.
  7. Its too late, all this year's advent Calender's have been seen at toy fairs.

  9. Three of the six vehicles on the bottom right page have not been seen as sets yet, but are said to be sets, hence the presumption by many of a third wave. The Bat Kayak is interesting, it would make a very goofy set if what is said in this section is true. So, wishful thinking here sort of, but a corresponding Kayaker Batman figure would be a fun addition. Perhaps its suit name would be "Tacky Khaki Kayak Batman". That would be funny, something for Bane to be envious for.
  10. I have not seen people attempt to split the windshield in other takes on this Batmobile, but the skeleton arm works almost perfectly for it! As always, yours are the the best for both scale and detail, accomplishing both at the same time perfectly!
  11. 60162's double rotor plane looks nice, and a tiger take on the new big cat mold at least gives us diverse options for the same piece in its introductory year. The wide usage of flame yellowish orange for jungle vehicles in this subtheme is great too.
  12. Hmm, strange. Well its probably JARVIS piloting in the depicted scene, but must be a strange moment for a kid getting the set who has not seen the film. Or someone else in the film who they don't want to disclose is piloting the suit.
  13. Wow! I just presumed the use of the canopies at the pinnacle was cosmetic. The construction of the rocket is quite unique and the fact that three of these canopies come with the set is great too!
  14. This is what I am hoping for! A Winter Village train station could also come with a holiday trolley, something so the station would not be "train-less". That or a steam tram maybe.
  15. What ever happened to this? I never heard anything finally discounting the rumor, perhaps it has been shelved or delayed?
  16. Nice to see Sandy's helmet being used. It has been used and printed on in solid colors for globes more recently, but not for minifigures outside of Sandy from SpongeBob.
  17. Probably just backdrop illustration.
  18. A big slime.
  19. I have been waiting to see this part used in other sets maybe to explain its intended purpose, but so far, part no. 27262( pictured below) seems to be used as a mudflap/guard in some Nexo Knights sets this year. Nonetheless, it would be nice to see this part in transparent colors for canopy usage, the same way part no. 17979( pictured below) has been used in transparent colors recently.
  20. I've dug back a little in this thread for an example, but haven't seen one, but has anyone used minidoll Wonder Woman's hairpiece on any Wonder Woman minifigure? Also, what about TLBM Robin's legs separated from the green hip and applied to classic Wonder Woman's hip piece from the minifigure's legs?
  21. Never thought of that, both sound like great ideas!
  22. It sounds like we might not get Cole's uniwheel mech in this wave, but I wonder if it will be scaled down like the others so far. It was for me the most striking of all the ninja vehicles, and I liked the usage of the new Technic tractor tire (part no. 23798). But if will be presumably scaled down, it might not use it, maybe.
  23. OK, thanks! I have never looked at printed dual molded legs in databases before, so that's how I have missed them. Some may not consider erasing prints purist, but maybe I should consider it, unless I just wait for official unprinted versions.
  24. Same here! While talking to someone last year about new Nexo Knights parts, he said he would find an inverse cheese slope a great new part for filling some gaps on creations at times. There is the solution of a Technic stud pin being inserted under a brick to stud a cheese slope under the brick upside down, but the stud pin does not allow the slope to flesh completely to the underside of the brick, so an inverse would be great.
  25. This is so far my favorite design, primarily because of the usage of the trans-black angled Nexo Knights windshield, something I wanted to use the part for when it was introduced last year to use for Batmobiles. So it was great to see it made in trans-black for the motorbike Creator set this year, and also made in trans-light blue for the upcoming JL Battle of Atlantis this year.
