  1. Sweet, it's like an off-road El Camino from the 1930's!
  2. Dang, those are just so well built they're nearly seamless!
  3. Looks like a pretty solid build for a promotional set.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions, I might check out Under the Red Hood some time here. Between the two, I liked the two part adaptation of TDKR more so than Year One, but the latter was still a fairly good film (it was more Gordon's story than it was Batman's I must say). Particularly, what drew me to watch them was the stories' 1980's setting, since movies set during some time other than the present intrigue me more. P.S. I've never fully read either of the two novels before, only excerpts and synopses of both in the past.
  5. Thank you so much for finding these guys, I'm particularly in love with all of legomaniak76's work! You're quite welcome!
  6. Check out this latest beauty from redfern1950! I forgot to initially mention, to others that may visit this topic, this is also a project over on LEGO Ideas. Lego Space M.V.T (Multi-Vehicle-Transport) Galactic Cruiser by GBailey46
  7. Looking most forwards to your latest custom CMS!
  8. I'm case you didn't know, he's currently cooking up a custom CMS based upon Batman: The Animated Series.
  9. Here's a hypothetical MCU themed CMF draft by @just2good, with renders by @Ashnflash!
  10. Oh yes, I'm particularly hyped for all the newly recolored 1×2 bow parts in this, not to mention that Nexo shield too! Looking most forward to your future modular, especially if both Sand Green and Art Nouveau are involved!
  11. Fantastically Retro! Has a very heavy Atompunk/Astropunk architectural style that harkens back to the Raygun Gothic science fiction of the 1950's!
  12. Though I'm not heavily versed in the mythologies of either franchise, if I were to reboot Hasbro's Transformers and GIJoe franchises for the big screen, I'd have both of them set during the 1980's. The GIJoe movies would play out as a fun homage to action movies of the 1980's, while Transformers would have a more lighthearted, nostalgic Back to the Future vibe about them. Well, many of the original stories did have a steam vs. petrol/diesel focus to them. Amusing idea. From here on after Infinity War, how would you wish/expect to see both the Fantastic Four and the X-Men introduced to the MCU, and how could they be portrayed?
  13. Last night, I watched the DC Animated adaptation of Frank Miller's Batman: Year One and the two part adaptation of his other novel The Dark Knight Returns.
  14. Cutshort is a fun, informative YouTube channel I discovered recently, focusing primarily upon canceled TV shows and movies (primarily superhero centric media) which never ended up seeing the light of day.
  15. Yep.
  16. Last night, I just checked out the two part animated adaptation of TDKR, and yes, I too was rather impressed with its score! I liked how at times they weaved some 1980's electronics into some pieces to complement its alternate historical setting, a really nice touch I thought. Any other DC Animated scores you could suggest? Not at all, I'm really impressed! Ah, I forgot about that score. In retrospect, it was quite beautiful.
  17. You'd really like to see Space return to City don't you? Can't argue with that, same here all the way! Well, not necessarily excited, but I do think they're kinda cool. If anything, the Jurassic Park like premise of the subtheme does make me excited for the future potential of City in exploring more Sci-Fi inspired premises, particularly for future incarnations of the Space subtheme.
  18. What is it that you dislike about it, just that it's coming back?
  19. Like with 2017's Beauty and the Beast, I'm expecting at least one BrickHeadz set based upon the animated classic as a tie-in for the live-action adaptation. Preferably though, I'd like to see a line of playsets based upon the upcoming live-action remake as a sort of spiritual successor to the line of sets Lego did for 2009's Prince of Persia, with minifigures please.
