  1. Regarding the more definite rumored crossover, I'd just hope they'd give any of Chima's returning characters a somewhat more consistent look, primarily by fixing their Anime/Magna eyes somehow to make them work a degree better alongside their human counterparts.
  2. Irrespective of theme, that seeming disregard even applies to one of the most versatile subcategories of headgear parts, HAIRPIECES, which nowadays are introduced faster than they're recolored. I don't understand what this response means. Sort of? I guess @Aanchir has comprehensively illustrated your point somewhat, because if Lego can fail to further utilize/recolor even the most versatile of molds for many years after the fact, why shouldn't they introduce seemingly dead-end parts? I guess the ones I'd have the most hope for aren't necessarily guaranteed a future, and visa-versa. Still, I subjectively find the whole thing to be screwed-up nonetheless. Oh great, another variant armor part encrusted with ice on the opposite side... Heh, I wouldn't mind seeing a Ninjago/Nexo Knights crossover soon afterwards if that's indeed the case. Rather than merely Ninjago, how 'bout they name such a crossover "NexaGo Ninja Knights"?
  3. I wonder, is it merely accidental, or do they have potential intention for doing so?
  4. Mother Goose Gender: Female. Occupation/print on torso: Olive Green dress with Reddish Brown bow up near the neck. Plus, Reddish Brown recolor of TLBM Robin's cape. Type of headgear: New hat mold in Black similar to 6131, but shorter and standing upright. Type of facial expression: Grandmotherly smile with bifocals. Color on torso/legs: Newer skirt piece recolored in Olive Green with continuation of torso prints. Accessory: New goose mold and Reddish Brown book piece reading "Nursery Rhymes" on the cover. Nursery Rhyme Shepherdess Gender: Female. Occupation/print on torso: Medium Azur dress with White lattice pattering. Type of headgear: New bonnet mold in Medium Azur. Type of facial expression: Freckled smile on one side, concerned expression on the other. Color on torso/legs: Newer mid-sized legs in White with prints, combined with CMF Minnie's/Daisy's skirt piece printed/recolored to match torso. Accessory: New lamb mold and Bo Peep's new shepherd's hook recolored in Reddish Brown. P.S. By the way @CopMike, I know this is nearly a ten-year old topic, but I was wondering if it'd help to rename it for the sake of bring renewed attention to it for newer members for the forum. Perhaps it could be renamed LEGO Collectable Minifigures - Ideas and Future Suggestions?
  5. I'm afraid it's LEGO Ideas, as @tormentalous's The Brick Fan isn't properly hosting images from there either. The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas The Pirate Bay Achieves 10,000 Supporters

  7. True, and that's the sad irony. There are a great many useful parts that still haven't seen any sort of repurposing/recoloring after their debuts.
  8. There's supposed to be an Orange counterpart to the White astronaut, one that's virtually identical except with its color scheme in reverse (mostly Orange with White accents). All we've seen so far of the figure though is it's torso.
  9. Could you perhaps describe the color scheme of the Bat-Vehicles in these sets @Falconfan1414? Any new Trans-Yellow canopies by any chance?
  10. Yes, they are admittedly great designs in terms of their craftsmanship, but I merely can't see their long-term potential. That's all. Well then, here's to hoping Lego makes the best out of a boxed-in situation they've seemingly put themselves in. Not really, as they could be generically reused for, say, an evil counterpart to both the Series 3 and Series 13 Samurai CMFs. But the "frozen" samurai helmet and armor? Seriously, tell me what sort of generic CMF could those be reused for, because all I can come up with is Frozen Samurai Mummy. P.S. When did I say I hate snakes BTW? Earlier on this topic, all I said is that I'd wish to see non-flaming snake mummies. So yes, I'm somewhat more forgiving of the "toasted" snake mummy. I don't see the difference you're citing. To me, they're both generic "ghost contrails" for minifigures. Of course, and let's hope I'm wrong; but, could you please speculate on how they'll use these parts in the long-term future?
  11. Just judging the product not as a whole, but parted-out as all Lego sets should eventually be. This is a topic for product discussion, right?
  12. Is there a reason images from LEGO Ideas are suddenly no longer embedding properly here on Eurobricks?
  13. For me, the term "constraction" has always denoted various sub-systems of construction parts rather than a collection of lines/playthemes that utilize it (if I were being more specific with the term, that is).
  14. They could've generalized the shaping of the mold beyond its coloring to some degree, thereby giving the mold potential for a life beyond Ninjago. Like I said earlier, any one-and-done mold is a sorry shame, especially for a line they have total creative control over.
  15. Of course one would, as it's immediately apparent in the repurposer's eyes to be just another generalized minifigure component for generic ghostly archetypes, similar to the Series 6 Genie's lower assembly part. On the other hand, parts such as this ice samurai's armor and helmet are not as easy for Lego to repurpose compared to more general samurai armor/helmet parts that came before it. I mean, what kind of CMF could they be reused/recolored for? A Frozen Samurai Mummy CMF? It's a shame, because it's a dual-molded samurai helmet, one that could've had a more generally-shaped crest that can still be given a Trans-Light Blue "frozen" treatment, but more easily recolorable for future reusage beyond undead frozen samurai figures. Ah, 'tis a pity, as he's one of my all-time favorite builders! Flickr - The Work of Vincent Gashod Why of course! But, I was only lamenting on Lego's part for the sake of potentially short-lived molds.
  16. Wait, so the "icicles" can separate from Zane's headwrap and the samurai's armor/helmet parts?! Hmmm, would this guy's name happen to be Vincent Gashod of Toulouse? Nah, that part is much, much more versatile according to my standards.
  17. Um, for some reason, images from LEGO Ideas are all of a sudden failing to be embedded anywhere here on Eurobricks...
  18. And I see you submitted it to LEGO Ideas! Love the way you constructed his floppy hat! LEGO Ideas - A Bear Called Paddington by Vincent Q
  19. ...with no hope for life beyond Ninjago after the fact.
  20. Say, could a line of System-constructed, Minifigure-piloted mecha sold individually like constraction figures be considered as such?
  21. Perhaps as a potential replacement for the BrickHeadz theme, maybe Lego could introduce a System-based line of licensed six-inch/twelve-inch action figures, utilizing a mix of new System-based constraction parts, printed features like BrickHeadz, and other preexisting System components.
  22. Damn, this wave is churning out quite a few dead-end/going-nowhere-after-this molds! First the flaming snake heads, then Zane's frozen headwrap, and now icicle-encrusted samurai armor and helmet parts?! Can someone here please tell me how any of these molds will be able to be used after the fact? Outside of the Ninjago theme that is?
  23. ...and now a full "Mars Mission" astronaut in White has leaked, utilizing a Gold-visored "Atlantis" helmet/airtank headgear in the same color.
  24. Cute! It resembles a set from the 1970's in its blocky construction; but, regarding the box art, why such Plain-Jane text reading Steamboat Willie?
