  1. So good to hear that the Sandtrooper is coming in a smaller set. :)
  2. ? Thanks so much for the info as usual. :) I thought a new Naboo Starfighter might be in the works for next year going on the advent calendar builds. Are we still going to get the V-19 Torrent ship that was rumoured months ago do you know? That was also rumoured to have Plo Koon. I'm hoping he will show up soon without that awful headpiece which so easily loses its print.
  3. Of course (and this is wishful thinking), but these figs could actually belong to the droid gunship set and not the AT-AP. I know the ebay seller has them linked to that set number, but I've seen figs labelled wrong before.
  4. It's so funny how we all want new stuff, but then breath a sigh of relief when we realise a set won't be for us. But I know exactly what you're talking about. :)
  5. Cloud City is the October UCS although it is now classed as Master Builder. But it took the UCS slot as it is a large, expensive set. The next UCS won't be until next year, probably May.
  6. We have no definite confirmation that there will be a Diagon Alley set in 2019, unless you are talking about the microscale DA that has been found in certain places already.
  7. Love how the 'pecs' go over the wiring / tubes; looks a bit weird. ?
  8. Me too. ? Not taking anything as more than wishlist at the mo which actually results to knowing nothing. Lego is getting good at stopping leaks it seems as this time last year we had some pretty solid info. But still it is only September after all. And anyway, once we know the next wave we only go onto wanting the next. ? I just really hope we get some good Anniversary PM sets.
  9. Just got myself 9526 Palpatine's Arrest off ebay for £55 after an ebay discount. A couple of missing pieces, but I'm really only interested in the minifigures which are all mint so I'm very pleased. :)
  10. Yes you're right. Retiring Soon on the UK S@H too. As I don't know sales figures I could be entirely wrong, but I get the impression that the Snowspeeder hasn't been the best selling set. There were some big discounts pretty soon after its release. Slave 1 on the other hand probably appeals to more people.
  11. That is a lot of sets! My local supermarkets haven't even managed to get the August wave on their shelves yet. They're going to have fun next year. ?
  12. No it doesn't. We've had our two UCS sets for this year in the Y-Wing and Cloud City. Although CC is now classified as Master Builder.
  13. Oh I know I wasn't disagreeing with you; you were absolutely right. I was simply adding that, even with the UCS Jedi Starfighter, a prequel UCS does seem overdue. And I think there are some prequel ships that would have got a lot of love as a UCS anyway before the sequel backlash; a UCS Republic Gunship say. But I totally understand what you mean about the OT being a safer bet.
  14. Yes it is and technically 10026 Naboo Starfighter and 10186 General Grievous. Even the Darth Maul bust makes the UCS cut. But those last three were 10, 16 and 17 years ago now and the Naboo Starfighter especially would not be considered detailed enough now for a UCS. Even 10215 Jedi Starfighter was 8 years ago now so it does seem like time for a prequel UCS.
  15. Yes I have a SW minifigures collection too. I was going to try and stop myself from getting into the HP as SW figures is already a big enough outlay and because we don't quite know where the theme is going yet, but ... I just couldn't! There are a lot of SW builds that I love, AT-AT, Naboo Starfighter for example, that are more 'displayable' than say an open backed HP castle, but in the interest of space and limiting outlay I still resist. Very hard though. Sticking to HP figures is the best I can 'limit' too. ?
  16. I'm glad you said that. :) When this new HP Lego was first revealed I wanted to get all of it. The thought of owning HP Lego like when I was a kid back when the first HP stuff came out, but this time around being able to get all the sets and not just the ones my parents picked out for me made me so nostalgic and super excited. I was in a dark age between 2004-2016 so missed the later HP waves. So I got all the new sets and I built them and it was fun and they are great builds. BUT then I had to dismantle them and box them up as due to space constraints I can't display Lego builds. And so I just thought, this is pointless; there's no point it just sitting there doing nothing. So I've sold on all the builds and kept the minifigures which I have in a large display frame (plenty of space for future waves ;) ) and now I have some money towards future HP minifigures and I still get ridiculously nostalgic every time I look at my frame. :)
  17. It could be the one used by Starfire in the Dimensions pack.
  18. 'We haven't heard anything yet about where they will be sold in the UK, but the good news is that we announced on Twitter that the Harry Potter Bricktober sets will be sold at Barnes and Noble in the US.' We should all just pop on a plane then. Silly us ?
  19. Well I would say Snoke cut in two, but you can already do that by splitting the minifigure torso from the legs. But they would never put the suggestion in the box art. You can imagine it though. ?
  20. :) Oh no! That is not good. Hope you got a replacement. I know Jang mentioned his Hermiones having slightly missalligned face prints between the front face and alternate, so have been checking for that but okay so far. Got one head off by using pliers. Don't think it damaged the head, but is did pull some of the white paint off the strip on the pole on top of the torso confirming that it was too tight. Ditto :) I did the same with Flint and he had to be one of the tight ones! Never use my teeth though; can just picture death by choking on minifigure head! Hermione from the train is also stuck fast so she is looking wonky. Trolley Witch was another one. Lost track on the others. Thanks everyone :)
  21. On a different note, has anybody else found that quite a few of their HP minifigures have very tight clutch power between the torsos and heads? So many of my figures have heads that are just so tight once attached to the torso that they are impossible to move the head even slightly to align the face right and to get the head back off the torso requires a pair of pliers, which of course is not what I want to be doing with my minifigures. This to me suggests that either the torso top is fractionally too large or the inside of the head pieces are slightly too small. I would talk to Lego, but I have had so many it seems it is just a general drop in quality.
  22. My thoughts exactly; I want the minifigure, but not the set. I have no interest in microscale (not saying it's a bad thing just my personal preference). It seems like many people want the figure, but not the whole set from what I've read on here and Brickset. I bet if people sell the figure on its own though it will cost all most as much as the set so will be forced to buy the set either way.
  23. According to Brickset, someone has found the microscale Diagon Alley to buy at a certified Lego Store in Slovenia. So does that mean it isn't going to be a promo? I remember when pictures of the new small Lego Store set leaked people thought it would be a promo for a £100+ purchase, but it actually turned out it was just a product to buy. Could this be the same?
