  1. On a different note, has anybody else found that quite a few of their HP minifigures have very tight clutch power between the torsos and heads? So many of my figures have heads that are just so tight once attached to the torso that they are impossible to move the head even slightly to align the face right and to get the head back off the torso requires a pair of pliers, which of course is not what I want to be doing with my minifigures. This to me suggests that either the torso top is fractionally too large or the inside of the head pieces are slightly too small. I would talk to Lego, but I have had so many it seems it is just a general drop in quality.
  2. My thoughts exactly; I want the minifigure, but not the set. I have no interest in microscale (not saying it's a bad thing just my personal preference). It seems like many people want the figure, but not the whole set from what I've read on here and Brickset. I bet if people sell the figure on its own though it will cost all most as much as the set so will be forced to buy the set either way.
  3. According to Brickset, someone has found the microscale Diagon Alley to buy at a certified Lego Store in Slovenia. So does that mean it isn't going to be a promo? I remember when pictures of the new small Lego Store set leaked people thought it would be a promo for a £100+ purchase, but it actually turned out it was just a product to buy. Could this be the same?
  4. Impressive. Most impressive ... But actually I'm quite glad about that. It will be the first proper 'reveal' in ages!
  5. There is also a Naboo Starfighter which would qualify under that description.
  6. Haha love that description! Hope it's true :)
  7. Yes definitely want some more TPM in general. As for the abundance of SW sets, you are very right. My local stores still haven't got any of the new August sets on the shelves and all I can think is it is because they have no room. They have the fairly new sets on discount (Solo, Yoda's Hut etc.) but there are just too many sets coming round too quickly for them to put the August sets out it seems. Absolutely. I mean, I think his flattened hair carbonite mold is okay because his hair did get rather flattened, but you can't fit the new hair in that mold obviously and the new hair would give the carbonite mold some more texture.
  8. I posted that link a few hours ago over in the Future Star Wars Sets forum as I didn't think we would be able to discuss 2019 here.
  9. Just found this: https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-star-wars-20th-anniversary-sets-rumoured-for-2019/ No idea if it's legit and I can't say that I am personally interested in collecting any yellow faced minifigures again, but I do love that old logo still and as I was a kid when the first sets came out the nostalgia for that packaging is very real. Would be a great opportunity to get some OT sets as well :)
  10. Yes that has happened to me. I've actually had a couple of orders both B+P and sets where I've never got a shipping email.
  11. Yeah I know, but the calendar hasn't been completely reliable of late. I'm not saying there will be anything, just that for such a large purchase it seems odd. Hope you manage to get one. Happy building!
  12. Yep I am a VIP and 7 hours post midnight and still not available on UK S@H. I live min 6 hours from a Lego store so no chance of picking it up in person unfortunately. Kind of think I should wait in case they do an exclusive poly or something on September 1st (Ollivander?), but at this rate I'll have to.
  13. Nope still just says coming soon. And I've got to go to bed so I'll just have to see what happens in the morning ...
  14. No. I've only found them in Argos, Sainsburys and WH Smiths. Even my local Tesco hasn't got any yet or even any of the sets.
  15. Some set numbers and expected prices can be found in the usual place.
  16. Ah I see. Well in 2016 the press release for 75159 Death Star was on 31st August, but not many of the UCS have been released late in the year to really see a pattern. The Ewok village was released mid-September but was actually revealed in June, so going by that we should have had a press release for CC by now so there isn't really rhyme or reason. Nevertheless, if CC is one of the mid-September VIP releases then it can only be a matter of a few weeks max. :)
  17. If memory serves, Lego were teasing that for a few weeks prior were they not? Weight, size etc.
  18. An ebay seller now has the Cloud City pilot up for sale so hopefully not too long before some more news.
  19. I found a Graves. :) Couldn't believe it when I felt the two hairpieces and one of them wasn't Mad Eye's. I felt like I'd got the golden ticket! Can't exactly comment on location as the box was a bit messed up, but I think it was left side somewhere. Also managed to find Trelawney, Young Harry and Dean so my set is complete. :)
  20. Decided to split those Bricktober packs and put the minifigures into small sets maybe?
  21. Did she mean an image of list with a set including ewoks and scout troopers? Because that's the only supposed 'leak' of that sort so far as I'm aware. And it's reliability is in doubt.
  22. I did wonder if it was coming to an end as originally this wave of Elves sets were exclusive to Argos in the UK. But they have since appeared on Amazon and were included in this weeks' heavy discounts. Almost like Lego is releasing the stock to more retailers to try and shift it ...
  23. I tried to order a single droid arm that I had lost along with my sets order at just after midnight on 1st. But the B&P section of my order just kept vanishing so I gave up and just ordered the sets in the end.
  24. Thing is, in the UK I can only find it on S@H and on Amazon. And Amazon (direct from Amazon themselves) are currently charging £40.66 which is even more than RRP! Can't figure that one out as Amazon don't normally sell Lego for over RRP. So for VIP points I thought I'd bite the bullet ...
