  1. If you're looking for Legoleaks a quick search on Instagram should point you in the right direction :)
  2. I do like the look of some of the new animals, the fox in particular, and like the idea of getting two new elves. The bats are also ... interesting, and I know it will be a case of 'gotta catch 'em all'! I might wait until they come on Bricks and Pieces or may just buy all the sets at the right price. I am keen on getting the purple dragon as I missed the purple and green dragons in the last wave (this is a different character and technically more of a wyvern I know, but it will be nice to add that colour to my dragon mix). Teal is clearly the colour of 2018 and it's good to see some new colours, but I have to agree that what drew me to the Elves line was the artistic builds and this line seems sparse in that area. If this was the first wave for Elves I don't think it would appeal to such an audience as the real first wave did, but then again 1) it isn't the first wave and 2) it would get boring if everything stayed the same. This does seem a little lacking in terms of structures though (even Nocturna's tower looks compact) so I would hope to see some more buildings later in the year.
  3. When the leaves start to scatter and the snow begins to fall, this cosy cave is the perfect place for Bluebeary and Lil’ Blu to settle down for the season. :) My home internet went down just as I was about to upload this so I had to go out and find some mobile wi-fi to upload and had problems with the picture sizes.
  4. I've used this search method myself, but I haven't found it to be very reliable lately. For instance, earlier this month the Lego Elves line had just two products marked as 'retiring soon' on the UK site: 'Aira's Airship' and 'The Water Dragon'. Neither Ragana's Castle nor Queen Dragon's Rescue was marked for retirement. However, in the last couple of weeks both of these sets have disappeared from the shop and if you search for them, they come up as retired products. So, from a UK perspective at least, there was no warning that these were about to go.
  5. Just got myself the exclusive Leia and Han minifigures from the UCS Millennium Falcon. A bit pricey (although not too bad), but I have loved those figures since I first saw them. They will taker pride of place in the Hoth row of my minifigure frame. :)
  6. I think April is going to be a bad time for my purse ? (Also congrats on 100!)
  7. Wow that is some landscaping :)
  8. How wude ? I've wanted a Naboo Royal Starship for 15+ years, but going on that timescale I'm not holding out hope, especially now they have all the new movies to accommodate. It's a shame though, as I think now they could properly do justice to the sleekness of the ship if they put the right brick count in, and clearly I'm not the only person who would be interested.
  9. That's a good list :) Personally any more Padme minifigures would be appreciated, but I too would particularly like her in her orange robes and a Episode 3 pregnant version. I would also love some more prequel minifigures, especially Bail Organa, Shmi, Chancellor Palpatine and Zam Wessel. I love how my prequel figures look in my minifigure frame, especially with Queen Amidala in the centre of the episode 1 row, but there are some glaring omissions - my ROTS line needs at least ONE Padme! Keeping my fingers crossed for 2018 :)
  10. I know this is a bit old, but I just wanted to say that this happened to me too. I rung Lego and at first the lady just said that it must have been a packing error, but they had now run out of stock of the right poster. So I said I wasn't very happy as I had made my order at just past midnight so I should have been among the first orders to receive the correct poster. And I know it is only a poster, but if Lego are going to use marketing that encourages people to make multiple purchases on different days then they should at least honour it and the missing poster was actually the one I really liked. So then she got on the phone and found that a Lego office in the US had one and she got it shipped to the UK for me and it came really quickly. So overall they did rectify the error and kept to the usual standard of excellent customer service :) Is it just speculation that Slave Leia won't be made again because of Disney rules? It would be a shame for such an iconic scene to be left out of future sets. :( Glad I picked up the newest Slave Leia :)
  11. I agree that the bluish colouring does look more like Starkiller base, but I also think that the scene could apply to both, so by leaving out the distinguishing red soil of Crait the photo is better designed for a BP, at least from Lego's point of view; with a wider usage in terms of location, it means a set is more massable which is exactly the point of a BP. Neither did I so that's great to see, although I think the lack of more exclusive figs to the UCS MF shows that Lego was never trying to sell the Falcon on its figs so keeping the Porgs exclusive to that set made no sense from a marketing point of view; I'm sure a lot of kids and adults alike will want the set for Luke alone, but add a porg and some people are bound to pick up multiples. Definitely did not expect to see Kylo in a smaller set though, so that is great to see. The only difference I think is he doesn't appear to have his cape so that makes the Kylo in the larger Kylo's Tie set exclusive, but I doubt kids will mind too much. :)
  12. Thank you so much for the link. I'm going to take a good look now :)
  13. Ok thank you :) I hope I have time to put together an entry before the competition closes - Elves animals are so cute :)
  14. Hi, just wanted to know if a goblin is considered an 'Elvendale critter'? :)
  15. UK pricing for the Resistance Transport Pod is very disappointing. In his (now taken down) video, Jang quoted £30, which for 294 pieces is reasonable. But it's actually £39.99 which is taking the mick really. Definitely one to get once discounted.
  16. Good tip! The changing country tip works. Hope there's the trooper poly too :)
  17. UK too. No LJ sets though which is very late and kind of counterproductive.
  18. Sorry guys, but there can't be a UCS Cloud City now. Think of the size the landing pad would have to be to fit this on! ;)
  19. Porgs are exclusive, but not Rey, Finn and old Han. When the guy said it has a lot of exclusive figures I thought maybe they had new detail we had missed, but he showed Han, Leia, the Porgs and then the minifigures were zoomed away.
  20. Really want the Han and Leia figs :) The breathing mask print really helps to capture the scene.
  21. Good to see some positivity for Stash :) You make a very good point. I'm sure he has helped a lot of people in this respect. As someone who appreciates all Lego Star Wars builds, but has limited myself to collecting the figs, I can't deny I am not disappointed in the fig selection. I would have expected them to have done a Death Star set up with more minifigures representing different scenes / episodes. A good selection may have tempted me to buy it and sell on the build. That way I'd get the figs and someone gets a slightly cheaper Falcon. Not sure why Lego has limited the selection, but maybe they think there will be enough demand anyway, although it seems a bit of a shortfall. Still, my purse will be happier. :)
  22. I'm just interested in the exclusive figures (Han and I think Leia's print is different), but I dare not think what people will try and sell them for on eBay. I'll probably have to pass :(
