  1. I use Brickset to keep a track of mine and you can see a list of all available figures and what sets they came in.
  2. I don't think these are legit; all these sets numbers are for previously released, non-Elves related sets.
  3. Apologies, I know what the Hard to Find label means. Where I live it means 'buy from Lego online' or not at all lol. What I meant is, is that the Slave 1 hasn't been tagged with the Retiring Soon label, but it has been listed under the Retiring Soon page on the UK S@H. So there is a contradiction of sorts, but a very real possibility it seems that Lego has marked it for retirement. If this is the case, and it is not clearly marked as such, then it could go OOS quietly and those who still want it may miss out.
  4. So if you click on the Retiring Soon section of the UK S@H site, then both the UCS Snowspeeder and UCS Slave 1 are listed. But whilst the Snowspeeder's page says 'Hard to find' and 'Retiring Soon', the Slave 1's only says 'Hard to find'. Does this mean it is retiring soon? It might make sense if Lego is planning on releasing a system scale Slave 1 in 2019 as well as having the mini one in CC. Just a heads up in case anybody does still want this as it *could* be going soon.
  5. All Elves sets are now listed as Retiring Soon on the Lego UK website.
  6. I would really love to know if the HP Bricktober packs are coming to the UK. I'm wondering (and secretly hoping as it's better than not getting them at all) if Lego will do a promo for them over here in January as an incentive to spend after Christmas.
  7. Just got Vader's Castle, but yet to build. :)
  8. The funny thing is, Lego S@H recently listed a load of sets as Retiring Soon, but none of the Elves sets are included in that, even the ones that have been out a while now such as Rosalyn's Hideout. So the theme may be 'retired', but this wave itself doesn't seem to be retiring just yet. I have however just managed to get Noctura's Tower for &19.99 in an Argos flash discount. :)
  9. Does anyone else think that it is rather disrespectful not only to the character of Leia, but also to the late Carrie Fisher herself, that we have not yet got an Ep 8 minifigure of Leia yet? I could understand waiting for the second wave of Force Awakens sets for an Ep 7 Leia minifigure as she was only a 'side' character in that film really, but in Ep 8 she was just as prominent as a lot of characters. If Lego was not sure of her role or design in time for wave 1, she could have easily come with the second wave of LJ sets such as in the Crait Speeder set. I'm really hoping Lego will surprise us in 2019 with a set featuring her (I know she has been rumoured to come in the transport set that has been rumoured for so long, but still not appeared) as her absence is rather conspicuous in my opinion. What are everyone's thoughts?
  10. White bricks bought directly from Lego's online Pick A Brick in the last 3 years have definitely yellowed (gone off white to be more precise) for me within a few months despite being stored in plastic containers out of sunlight. Not sure how Lego store them before dispatch, but I was under the impression it is in vast warehouses with little natural light, yet I'm sure some white bricks have arrived slightly off white already. I'm talking holding up two rows of 'white' bricks and being clearly able to seethe colour difference. I've come to think of it as inevitable unfortunately. Very annoying when you always try your best to keep things nice.
  11. I can't remember how, but I found a Jangbricks review on Youtube back in summer 2015 and I haven't been able to stop since. I loved Lego as a child from when I was gifted my first bucket by my parents at 2 years old. Had a couple of original SW sets and some of the HP sets as I got older, but slowly sold everything off as a teenager as money got tight. Now in my middle twenties and I'm thoroughly obsessed again. I can't decide if I love Jang or hate him!
  12. Saw these earlier too. I have to say, when I first saw the pics I had no interest in getting in; I thought it looked relatively good for what it was and could understand why people may want it, but it held no appeal for me. Then yesterday I saw MandR's video and now it is firmly at the top of my wishlist; it looks so much better to me in actual footage than it does in the prelim photos. It's the first SW set in a long time that I want purely for the display appeal rather than the minifigures. I too am waiting to see what December will hold in terms of promos though because the RRP is quite steep even if it does look really good.
  13. rain vs Kenobi? As Boba stays nice and dry in the Slave 1. ?
  14. Something tells me that one fell into a black hole never to be seen again.
  15. Had a BF splurge and got myself the Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive, Ski Speeder vs Walker Microfighter, FO Speeder Battle pack and the Porg. And that's just the SW stuff - Black Friday can be lethal for Lego lovers!
  16. I do agree with you; branded as Juniors or 4+, the X-Wing, A-Wing and Tie are clearly 'Juniors' sets and from that perspective they are pretty good I suppose. Although I have to admit, an open cockpit would have bothered me as a child even. ? Now though, they are just not for me; to my personal eye they look pretty bad. But I'm glad to see that they are appealing to AFOLs too for various reasons.
  17. It looks bad to me, but I'm trying to desperately remember that I am not it's target audience. A clear Starfighter image is now available :)
  18. New 4+ Tie has leaked. :) Extremely basic, but it goes with the other 4+ sets. I just want the Rebel Trooper. The little side build has a good printed piece though.
  19. Bet he feels like a spare part ... or should I say parts. ?
  20. A for effort for the A-Wing side build lol.
  21. I think you're right; Brickset's article was still there an hour or two ago, but is now conspicuous only by its absence. 'I felt a great disturbance in the force.' :)
  22. And here I was thinking I was the only weird kid who felt like that :)
  23. It does look that way which is kind of odd if it's based on TPM. I'm sure we'll get clearer pics soon.
  24. My first thought was that Luke is going to get sucked sideways out of that 'cockpit' ?. But I'm clearly not the target audience and I'm sure kids will love it. I think maybe this solves the helmet 'mystery' apart from issues of cost etc - the new helmet would be too big for Luke to wear and fit under that cockpit piece. You can see he has to lean right back as it is. I see Chewbacca has remarkably aged backwards from his younger looking self from the Han Solo sets. Not that I mind, as that figure is perfectly good enough. As for the camo droids, did they ever actually appear on screen in either ROTS or Clone Wars? I honestly can't remember seeing them, but they are very cool.
