LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
BacktoBricks replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Lol :) I find some of Lego's decisions in terms of new moulds, prints etc very strange; I don't understand why they would make that piece in red, print it, then only months later switch to the legs. I don't believe it is to do with play, as the guards don't sit. Barriss Offee came in a BP with a skirt piece after all as the Clone could sit on the speeder. Don't get me wrong, it's good kids can get guards cheaper, but for those who are trying to make the full guard it makes it very awkward. You could put the old helmet on some new guards with legs, but if you prefer the skirt buying extra skirts/throne room sets to mix with the new helmet is going to be expensive. Either way, if you want continuity, multiple sets / purchases are required... -

Search Lego 75234 on eBay; that will get you to Gree and the Battle Droids, then from those listing look at the seller's other items. -

From the Insta posts and the eBay listing there's actually at least four photos now with differing angles so I'm judging it on that and it doesn't change my opinion on it. And I like the Rebel helmet from the pics and in person so I'm not anti-new moulds. I think Lego cracked down on leaks to stop copycat fakes getting out early not because people would judge them. -

As is the new Leia from the same set and Bacta Vader and Imperial Transport Pilot from Vader's Castle. The listing provides some new shots of the helmet, but still not liking it. For those who want to see, look at toycollectorstore on eBay. -

pm sent. :) -
If they are anything like some of my heads, then you simply can't get enough grip or force with your fingers. You need pliers or such like which of course can cause damage to the fig if you are not careful. Sometimes if you then can get them to twist once they will loosen, but we're talking some force to get them moving. Some still stay tight though.

Now why do I feel like this is a wild Lego chase ? Edit: Found it thanks to @Tidy It could be Kylo, but Kylo normally has the mole printed on his face. Could it be an angry Anakin? -
Yes I have a lot lately. A few HP figs (Dumbledore, Flint) and Star Wars figs. Hermione is definitely one I've had problem with. In fact I asked the same question pages and pages ago when the sets first came out. Other users had experienced similar. They can loosen over time, but I had to use pliers to get a head off so I could put a cape on.

That would be me. ? I just don't understand why they would feel the need to change it. The new helmets I can understand; the old one did a good job for 20 years, but the dual moulded visor looks good and is a bonus. But there are many other moulds that need updating before the Stormie helmet I think. Ironic that when Lego decides to scrap the Junior branding that they come out with a mould that looks more Junior and cartoonified than ever. -

What is that! It's hideous ... looks like a fake knock off. Please tell me not all the stormtroopers are going that way. I was excited for a cheap Sandtrooper, but if it uses this new mold then I'll have to get an old one. -

Yeah it's just interesting to see what the different countries code name it. The Amazon.co.uk page for 75236 is down for me. -

Well amazon.es lists 75236 as 'LEGO 75236 Juguete para ninos' or roughly translated 'LEGO 75236 Toy for children' ... so that's most of us out then. ? -

Haha I suppose they just seem substandard now so they just get forgotten. My sister had the kaadus when I was a kid which seems like aa...ages ago so they are due an update really although they still look fairly good. -

There was the Boga in 7255 and Kaadus in 7115, but they are a bit dated now. -

Well I really can't see where else Finch would fit other than a bomber microfighter. Cobalt squadron could appear in Resistance I suppose (I don't watch it), but I still don't really think that is plausible. Time will tell. :) -

I'm just going on the list on p. 1. I assume you've done some research and 75227 isn't showing up on databases? It has been rumoured that we are getting two dual microfighter packs, but I know nothing. :) The number is irrelevant really ... -

Probably 75228 the unknown Microfighter dualpack, but we don't know for sure. -

Thanks for the roundup. So going on that, it seems that the podracer is basically a re-release of 7131 so the minifigs will be yellow headed I presume. -

Who said we are getting a new Padme? Did Sir von reveal something then delete? I really want new Padme minifigs! -

Sir von has said that one of the 20th Anniversary sets is Anakin's Podracer and that these anniversary sets will come with a yellow flesh minifigure. Whether they will have other flesh toned minifigures in the sets is not yet confirmed. Trouble is, if Lego only does PM sets in the anniversary line and these only have a yellow flesh minifigure in, then we may not see any more PM minifigures thanks to the anniversary like a lot of us are hoping.
