  1. I'm just watching the WW and then I'll move on to that one. It's just come up on my screen as Up next. :)
  2. Well Jang got the Whomping Willow at least. His review is up!
  3. At least us in the UK and other European countries now know that if we want to have these sets in the first few days of release then we will probably need to be quick off the mark and that it is not stupid of us to be on the Lego S@H site at midnight. ?
  4. Aah forgot about that - maybe this period won't be so free after all :(
  5. I'm just hoping that the plus side for all us UK fans is that these will be some of the sets that Jang will be able to get before us. I hope he had his fingers on the button at midnight! Can't wait for the reviews :)
  6. Would I be right in saying that the Ron/Albus is a S@H / Smyths exclusive in the UK. I don't have a Smyths anywhere near me so the it would be S@H for me. I would be interested to know :) That's my set up too.
  7. Well done. Happy building! Good to know they were actually available at some point to buy. There will be some happy people at least. I shall await August 1st and hope I am as fortunate :)
  8. I'm not sure it is true sales. I was on the UK S@H site at midnight and all the new Brickheadz - HP, Frozen, SW etc - said coming 1st July. Refreshed a second later and they all said on Backorder will ship 2nd July. I highly doubt all the Brickheadz would have sold that much in seconds in the middle of the night; it seems like a sales technique to me to make it seem like they sold fast. Maybe Lego really isn't releasing the sets before August 1st apart from at Target and this is a way for them to gage interest / increase scaremongering that they will sell out really quick. I hate to have to say it, but going on the above ...
  9. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what we will get in this gap ... I'm really hoping for some more PT sets especially. Lego has done a good job of interspersing OT and PT sets in between the sets for all these new movies, but there are still some noticeable gaps that deserve some time now that there is the space for it.
  10. Nice chart. Thank you :)
  11. It feels like I haven't bought anything Star Wars in ages as I've decided to cut back to just OT and PT minifigure collecting as it was just becoming a constant outlay otherwise what with all these new films. So the last things I bought were the Yoda's Hut minifigures and the Jedi Battlepack. But I love Dagobah Luke; he is just too cute with that concentrating face :)
  12. So that Voldermort wasn't a fake then. Trelawney is my favourite because her hair is just ... wow. Moody is also a stand out. Dobby on the other hand is really disappointing to me; old Dobby was super cute, but this one's a bit freaky. ? Also, please tell me I'm not the only one disappointed that we didn't get baby Harry like the 'fake' CMF list said; I was legit expecting to see the baby mould with a little insy winsy scar ?
  13. Do you mean that it's only online or only whilst supplies last? Because as someone who lives nowhere near a Lego Store I have missed out on past 'store only' promotions and gifts with purchase always have the supply disclaimer, as obviously they will run out of stock at some point.
  14. Thanks for the interview link :) However, I don't think it says for definite that there will be more waves. It simply says that the designers' brief was to make sets based on the first 3 films as this will extend the possible lifespan of the license. It also pours a bit of cold water on the idea of a Chamber of Secrets in the next wave by revealing that the designers had to shoehorn in the Basilisk and Fawkes because the original idea of having the COS underneath the Great Hall was scrapped and yet to fit the brief they needed to include a 'baddy' from the second film and consequently its adversary Fawkes. If they really wanted to extend the license leaving these builds out would have made more sense because a COS could have easily come in the next wave. Not that I'm saying that there won't be more waves, just that this does not promise it. In fact if you scroll down tl the comment section of the interview, the author confirms that the designers did not promise any more sets: 'For the rest, if LEGO has released only sets from years 1 to 3, it is obviously to continue next year with other boxes for sale. But the designers refuse to comment on potential future sets, one way or the other, even if the work is probably already under way.' 15. That is just amazing; every build is truly inspiring and then to put them all together ... wow. Due to personal interests, I really love the night dragon and the forge :)
  16. Very cool. As others have said, good rock work. Instantly recognizable if you've seen the film. :)
  17. Anyone know if there are any flesh heads available on Bricks & Pieces other than Legolas and Superman?
  18. Yes I know. The leaked catalogue states August and the UK S@H says August so I can only assume that for the UK it truly is August. I don't know why shops (especially those where Lego isn't their main item and so presumably storage for stock is low) would have the sets in so early, but maybe it was just a case of human error with the Quidditch set. As to why the UK may be getting them later, well we often get other lines earlier by all accounts so who knows how Lego's mind works ? Everything official says August 1st (leaked catalogue, Shop at Home pages). The Quidditch set was apparently found in Smiths about a week, but this could have been a employee mistake as as far as I know it was only one Smiths.
  19. True, but it is still available at S@H. Maybe they just haven't listed the train yet because something in the listing is not quite ready. It isn't actually for sale yet after all.
  20. That might apply to America, but not the UK. Now we don't have Toys R Us, it could only really be a Argos exclusive, but Argos normally has whole lines exclusive (like the new Elves sets) rather than a single set. And even then, the Lego S@H has always had the exclusive sets as soon as the retailer so that doesn't really make sense either for the UK. It is an odd one for sure ...
  21. Mine too :( But yes, the idea of two major large sets releasing at the end of the year was rather daunting to my purse, so every cloud :)
  22. Ah okay thank you. So it's pretty certain then :)
  23. Which Lego catalogue? The leaked Summer one doesn't. Not that I'm saying that the CMF isn't HP, but the catalogue I've seen doesn't show that. Is there a new catalogue out? :)
