I think you're right about that; the leaked Summer catalogue lists the sets under Lego Harry Potter and Lego Fantastic Beasts. Lego put them together in the catalogue because it makes sense, but they don't put them both under a 'Wizarding World' heading. The only place WW is mentioned is in the tiny copyright print in the bottom corner of the page.

That is ... wow! Your daughters are very lucky. :) The landscaping is incredible. Do they get to play with it or is it a 'hands off' situation lol? -

So the Harry/Hedwig and Hermione Brickheadz have appeared as 'coming soon' on the Uk S@H but no Albus/Ron. Does this really mean the UK won't have access to those Brickbeadz?

Those two versions of Padme are what have really come to my mind lately. I want Mustafar Padme because we don't have any episode 3 Padmes and whilst her earlier costume in that movie is really nice, I can't see what set they would include it in. A mustafar set is more likely. And a Theed Battle set seems overdue. A handmaiden could be thrown in there too. As someone who grew up as the prequel trilogy was being released, Padme was my idol: smart, sexy and, like you say, badass. I've always felt she was underrepresented in sets, which is why I treasure my Geonosis arena Padme and her Queen Amidala minifigures. As for actual sets, I would love a set that does more justice to the architecture of Naboo, whether it be the buildings or the ships. Even as a kid, I thought it was a cool city and loved Padme's ship.

That is true, although December is the only 'rumoured' date I've seen for the D2C. August has only ever been linked to the smaller sets and CMF line.

My thoughts exactly. Also they've chosen to have Quirrel running from it on the box which just highlights the absurdity of it's inclusion in this set even more; not only did it not appear in the Great Hall, but there is no way Quirrel could be running from it as he the Basilisk was the year after. I think this and McGonagall's legs really shows how they are marketing these for play rather than full accuracy, but still in what essentially looks like a Year 1 set, this feels wrong. And yes, these things would have bugged me as a child, although I know a lot of kids probably won't care.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

Looking at the Hoth summer set, the medical droid has dark grey legs which is not only different to last time, but is not accurate either. Seems to match the legs of the new Sandcrawler medical Droid. As these look like final promo images, I take it that this is what we will get? Seems like Lego didn't want to make two colours of the same piece. :( -

Yeah I did think the original photos definitely didn't show a strap, but thought that maybe I had missed the alternate head. Looking again though, you're right; neither side of Luke or Bigg's faces show a strap. Still it shows it may be possible to rectify this with a printed stop in the future. -

Yikes they really are bulky, but you're right, they do appear to have a printed chin strap so count me happy...ish. One thing that makes me want to love these new helmets is the fact that they have detailed side printing. -

Sir von Lego has said that both the Troop Transport and the V-19 are coming so I'm not sure that is the case; as it is, there are many discrepancies between the original leakers description of these sets and the Hauler and Shuttle which mean I don't think they could be confused for each other if the leaker really was truthful. Nevertheless, @Sir von Lego could you tell us if the Hauler or Sentinel Shuttle are what you took to be the V-19? -

That is true, but a new snowspeeder will likely pop up some time I'm sure and there is always a chance a new microfighter could have a new helmet pilot. -

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
BacktoBricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Me too. :) I understand the frustration of starting from scratch, but I am more than happy to see a change in design that should mean Lego will no longer treat Rebel pilots as clones and give them individuality besides their specific helmet design. The only thing that bothers me about the new design is that there is no chin strap, but I will just have to 'pretend' that the pilots have only just put their helmet on and not clipped those on yet. It shall be no more bothersome than 'pretending' that I am actually investing in a different pilot every time purely because they have a different helmet. -

Well I think CC is all but confirmed, but that is another hint surely. :) Every other little build does seem to correspond to a set. Also going on that line of thinking, the Naboo Starfighter is rather conspicuous ... -
