  1. Didn't see any Batman CMF at Barnes & Noble. Saw a bunch of sets, but zero indication of any sale price. Didn't see any at Target either, but they have a ton of CMF 16. Zero luck getting any Batman Pod polybag, and if you're a kid, you get a paper Batman mask, not polybag, not minifigure mask, a paper mask.
  2. I use Lego Digital Designer to document what I made before I dismantle it. That way I can have a PDF of the instructions to rebuild it. I recently bought a couple of Mixels polybags for ball joints, but am having trouble getting past the crude mecha frame stage. I probably just don't have the necessary slopes, etc. from the nice Gundams I've seen online. My local Lego Store's Pick-A-Brick Wall isn't cooperating either and refuses to make new parts available for months. I find it easier to make something with the actual pieces rather than virtual via LDD.
  3. Seems like more often than not, when I check the Lego Store Pick-A-Brick Wall, they didn't refresh it with new pieces. I want to buy another large cup, but there's not enough variety I'd want. Today I saw two different pieces that weren't there before: 1x1 sand green brick and a 1x4x? white thin wall piece.
  4. The Battle Suit cardboard pouches look interesting with their ball joints and "cockpit" for the mini figures to sit in.
  5. Seems like out of all the Superheroes characters, Batman has the biggest Lego representation of supporting cast and rogues gallery. Off the top of my head, there's: Batman/Bruce Wayne Robin/Dick Grayson Batgirl Commissioner Gordon Joker & Harley Quinn Penguin Riddler Bane Killer Croc Catwoman Alfred Deathstroke the Terminator Red Hood Ras Al Ghul & daughter Can't think of any other Lego Superhero with that many of their own Universe's characters in Lego.
  6. My concern is a corrupt factory manager using lower quality materials and pocketing the difference between Lego quality standard materials and the junk stuff. I read somewhere that many years ago, made in China bricks were of lesser quality.
  7. Steal half the parts from one box, half from another box, then return both to the store? Very dirty. Employees are likely too lazy to inspect boxes for complete contents before accepting returns and then putting back on the floor to sell. You should report it to the store you bought it from because I think they keep track of name and id of people who return. They could probably trace it to whoever returned it to that store. What are the chances multiple people bought and returned the same thing within a short timeframe? The store manager needs to know if customers don't have confidence buying from them, they'll do business with the competitors. You know what else? These days with stores using self checkout where you have to place the merchandise on the scale, they likely have weight data for every product, so how hard is it for the employees to weigh boxes for complete parts before accepting returns? Call the store manager and suggest they weigh all product returns. At Target, I saw a CMF black 3x4 plate base where it looked like someone stole the minifigure and didn't want the plate. I've even seen a partially eaten cannister of nuts or chips on the shelf there.
  8. One of my daily Lego news stops websites said Superheroes Brickheads and had pics of Superman with curly hair S and Wonder Woman.
  9. I thought the release date was 1/1, but Lego Store had one box of Batman CMF's and one adult was feeling them and stuffing a bunch under his armpit. Nasty. Found Commissioner Gordon and Red Hood without too many feel attempts. More attention at the time was on Disney CMF rather than Batman. Made in China. Not sure if I want to pursue Catman and pretend he's Wolverine. Didn't see any good deals, nor was the Pick-A-Brick wall refreshed. Was told they only refresh whenever they are sent stuff, so very irregular.
  10. I'm not necessarily searching early, but when I see reports of something new being out, I want to buy one for myself before it's all gone. I only recently made a point to look at the Lego section every time, so don't have a feel for how quickly stuff disappears.
  11. Bought my first Mixels polybag (Chilbo) for what I thought were 4 ball joints, but there were 7. I'm guessing some experts used the parts to make a nice mecha. Target had several left and Toys R Us had a bunch, and neither were marked down for clearance. I read Mixels was discontinued and someone suggested the replacement would be Nexo Knights Action. I saw what may be an old Lego news article showing Nexo Knight Battle Suits which seem to have big ball joints. I'm going to need to look for these.
  12. Still can't find this at my Target, and not in their Valentines section either.
  13. Is there a YouTube documentary on this?
  14. Last night on a French Lego site, I saw a boxing Batman and an underwater scuba/flipper Batman from a Batcave set, I think. I think they were costume displays in the cave.
  15. Perhaps a dog, cat, or child likes to eat Lego pieces when no one's looking. I thought about buying Lego for someone with a young child, but decided not to since they have a dog and it might not be healthy for the dog if it eats the Lego.
  16. Luckily so far, rare. When I was building something big, I often assumed parts were missing, but it was just hard to locate in the piles. It's common to have extras of tiny pieces though. I saw a YouTube video where they said the bags are weighed 9 times to reduce chances of missing parts.
  17. I'm chasing after it for my 3rd different Batman and some lightsaber parts to use in the two lightsaber handles that came with Clash of Heroes. Haven't decided which of my people I'll grant Jedi status to.
  18. Target had a bunch including Dr. Strange which I saw for the first time.
  19. Looking back at the CMF series packs, there are a handful I'd like to have like King, Black Belt, heavily armed spaceman, black ninja, waiter, baseball batter and fielder, boxer, him & her Baywatch, golden winged warrior with spear.
  20. I don't see any harm in letting Lego fans have something to get excited about and look forward to months ahead of the actual release. From the older series, I missed out on karate/judo gi guy, black ninja, and heavily armed spaceman, so wouldn't mind a repeat. Today I saw Toys R Us had football guy in a 4 pack.
  21. I counted my Target has over 24 boxes of series 16! I'm guessing they will mark them down for clearance before long. They also had one box of Disney series that wasn't there yesterday. I was tempted to try to feel for Buzz Lightyear and was almost fooled by the Peter Pan pirate's hat. [UPDATE: Two days later, no Disney CMF to be found. Still had a ton of Series 16.] Still no Batman Phantom Zone polybag, but they had two separate aisle end cardboard displays of Joker Bumper Car polybag and a handful of Mixels.
  22. Today I bought a $7.99 Iris Stack & Pull extra small (but thin) plastic latch box for Lego Dimensions vehicles. I should have bought a $8+ Sterilite XL clip box too. If I consolidate most of my Lego into a large transparent plastic stacking crate, it'll be harder to misplace stuff. I also washed out a Jack in the Box breakfast platter made of polypropylene with intention to store something Lego in there. It already has a vent hole in case of gas release from plastic.
  23. Today I saw one polybag of Friends at Target marked down for clearance at $1.18. I saw a bunch at Walmart along with CITY construction vehicle polybag.
  24. I'll check on the 1st of the month to see if there's anything new. I don't want to buy $4.99 Mixels polybag just for a pair of ball joints.
  25. My favorites are probably Classic Spider-Man, Classic Superman & Batman Lego Dimensions, Captain America. As a kid, it was Futuron astronaut and Castle archer. Most wanted: Boba Fett, Darth Vader, maybe Green Lantern. Maybe a modern astronaut.
