Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Elysiumfountain replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Ooh a furniture store would be cool! It would be interesting to see if the designers could come up with cool furniture designs that we haven't seen before. I try my hand at making things like that but they end up dollhouse scale and weird looking because the details get lost otherwise. But of course, when we get pictures and it's something completely different I won't be too disappointed haha -

Wow! Blew me away the first time I saw it, awesome job! I also shouldn't look at it too long though, my eyes start playing tricks and I can't tell if it's moving or not!

[MOC] Black gates of Mordor (LOTR)
Elysiumfountain replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Absolutely stunning! I especially like the 3rd to last photo. It almost has a perspective effect, I can imagine more hordes of Mordor lurking in the shadows behind the main figures emerging from the Black Gates! -
History of Poland, part III
Elysiumfountain replied to BardDandelion's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wonderfully done, I love the chandelier! And the historical context is excellent. I have to confess I don't know much about Polish history but I definitely need to learn more after reading some of the snippets you shared! -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Elysiumfountain replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I was wondering that too, with the discussion on sets Lego won't produce. I mean we got the couple marrying at the Town Hall, which could also be done in a courthouse. Maybe it would have to be a large civic building like the Town Hall or Museum and they considered some of the functions taken care of already with previous sets? I don't know, that's the best explanation I could come up with. -
Awesome job!! There are so many cool details here, the more I look the more I find. And I love the haunted house!
