Wow! Awesome job, I love all the parts usage showing the bubbles! The pipe on the wall to the right that's spewing stuff really adds movement to the build. I also like how you created the eyes of the Zeugl.

[MOC] The gates of Obsidian Salt
Elysiumfountain replied to vangelisbricks's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Awesome job! I love the rockwork leading into the gate, it looks so smooth and well done! And the lighting is top notch. -
The ridges on the inside of the brick separators really add detail to the awning! It's like it's bunched up a bit in those places. Very well done! Must be pretty expensive ramen given the amount the customer is paying with

[MOC] Victorian Dollhouse, Version 2.0
Elysiumfountain replied to Elysiumfountain's topic in LEGO Town
Just a quick update! (I'll post a final update on this MOC once the last BrickLink shipments come in). I have finally built the first couple of stories in physical bricks, and the build looks amazing! The custom stickers were a PAIN to put on, and the ones for the pediment above the porch were terrible and didn't do well at all. But the real bricks model is coming along! I will post the final update when I finish with the tower and the roof (that's going to be the hard part). :)- 22 replies

That is incredible! I love how the designer made the front facade, especially the lyre motif in the pediment. -
Awesome! I love the windows above the front, very well done! :)

MOC: Brick-Built City Billboards
Elysiumfountain replied to The Humble Bricksmith's topic in LEGO Town
Very well done! I love that you included some terrain with them like the grass and plants. -
Very well done! I especially like how you did the pillars, that part on the bottom really makes it flow well, looks carved!

Absolutely gorgeous! All the decorations are so well done, and the spire is my absolute favorite part! :)

Awesome! So many great interior details. My favorite part of the exterior is the balconies. I love how they are varied on each floor so it highlights them visually. Well done!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I think an opera house would be cool, or something that could double as a theatre/center for the arts. I mean, the dancers from the studio in Assembly Square have to have some place to perform! -

Absolutely gorgeous! There's so many cool little details I don't even know where to start! I really like how the waterfall is cascading off of the side of the terrain. I think the town hall is my favorite of the buildings.

[MOC] Victorian Dollhouse, Version 2.0
Elysiumfountain replied to Elysiumfountain's topic in LEGO Town
Many thanks for the kind words and support! Yes, I definitely made it more dollhouse scale, I tried to downsize it to modular scale to make it fit better, but the tower didn't want to translate because the angles got too weird. Although I'll have to keep trying. I'm just waiting on the parts orders for the ground floor at the moment, and I spent at least 5 frustrating hours the other day getting the stickers put on the ground floor windows. But they do look pretty! I'll have to update real brick photos as I built it (may take a bit, it's expensive so I'm spreading it out over a few months)- 22 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I already have an army of snakes, so that's perfect! Get the pigeons to carry the snakes and then drop them on my enemies. It's a foolproof plan -

[MOC] Victorian Dollhouse, Version 2.0
Elysiumfountain replied to Elysiumfountain's topic in LEGO Town
I wanted to see how this ranked size-wise against my other Victorian house MOCs, it's the second largest of the bunch! The largest stands at 10,827 pieces and the smallest at 2,243.- 22 replies
