  1. Going back to an earlier part of the thread, Imaginext revealed their Anniversary exclusive Batman figures, which span his history and are easy for Lego to replicate to an extent. I’m really hoping that my comic collection ties up with my Lego collection. Obviously getting my hands on Golden Age comics is a pipe dream but I am amassing first appearances of Silver and Bronze Age villains, these guys included. If I close my eyes and think really hard, I’m sure the Lego design team will sense my requests
  2. I’d say that would be unlikely due to the varying nuances of hair piece shapes. Unless they push KF as the next Batman or Superman, it’s unlikely that he would get three different suits that close together. We’ve only recently had a third variation of comic Flash. I would say a generic KF would be most likely.
  3. At one stage the third Hawk and second Dove were sisters @CoolDudeRadman the first two were brothers Don and Hank, then Don died, being replaced by Dawn Granger. Things got a bit murky and muddled when an evil future version of Hank (Monarch) killed Dawn, driving Hank evil, becoming Extant instead. Then there was a weird unrelated pairing that we work hard to forget, before it’s discovered Dawn isn’t really dead. Dawn then meets her estranged sister Holly and they become Hawk and Dove. Roll forward to Blackest Night, dead Hank kills Holly, then Brightest Day and Hank gets resurrected, bringing the band back together. Don Hall stays dead in a rare moment of comic book realism, and Dawn has a weird relationship with Deadman, who wants to make it physical with host bodies. It all makes perfect sense *ahem*.
  4. WeIl if DC carry on their trend of a more balanced male/female mix, on the female side there’s Lois Lane Huntress Any Cassandra Cain identity Renee Montoya Star Sapphire Giganta Lady Shiva Cheshire Arrowette Artemis Enchantress Amanda Waller Jade Rose and Thorn Star Girl Saturn Girl Live Wire Jesse Quick I’ve repeated a few from my earlier lists but there’s so many possibilities that it was inevitable.
  5. A Cosmic Treadmill, Cyborg the Washing Machine from the games, a Joker surprise box, and a scenario involving Superman, Big Barda, a certain media recording device and a particular piece of furniture. The options are slim when the budget is small.
  6. Beats a costly new mould.
  7. Regarding location sets, a way of combining one with new figures who definitely are not Batman would be Danny the Street with the Doom Patrol, Brain and Monsieur Mallah. At a push you could have Beast Boy. I mean there are a stack of others but I’ll start with one
  8. To be fair he was fairly short lived to begin with, his later appearances were generally one-offs and I don’t think that he has been seen since the New 52 story The Hunted. Yeah, I know he inexplicably has a gap in his space helmet (he could definitely take it off) but the Mysterio would work in the same way.
  9. @Digger of Bricks they’ve now got the part necessary to make Space Ranger, too. I know Strange is the priority, but Rick Starr is still a Silver/Atomic Age sci-fi legend. I’d be happy to see either of them or Starman. Or anyone from the All-Star Squadron. Or anyone from the Golden or Silver Age.
  10. The BvS armoured Batsuit works well in the company of comics ones, even without the armour piece. @LegoFjotten you forgot/omitted this one, I know it’s not one of her most iconic but it still exists
  11. The reason I get, it’s the (lack of) logic behind it that completely flummoxes me
  12. Check out his cover appearances in Jungle Action #10 and #23, and Avengers #82, and for good measure in Tales of Suspense #98. It’s not as obvious with his debut because his face is mostly just black/half masked depending on version, and with his solo title he regularly has eyeholes in his mask. I know he has them in other issues, but in Black Panther it’s more common. Honestly if you can’t see the likeness then there’s nothing more that I can do to help. If it’s not him then fine, I’m wrong, I don’t mind because I don’t buy Marvel unless my son is interested. But flat out denying it without any certifiable proof will just make you look daft if you’re wrong. I don’t understand why you are so against it.
  13. Comics versions of those guys, Bizarro, Zurr-en-Arrh and frankly any of the novelty Batsuits of the Silver Age, like the Zebra suit that we mere mortals can’t get. The more I wait the more figs I would like to see. I’m going to be insufferable until then. My poor wife.
  14. I would be very surprised if the whole line is just versions of characters that we have seen before, that would render the whole operation pointless. Given what we have seen with the Simpsons, Disney and Harry Potter, a more likely scenario is that we will get a mix of previously unseen versions of regular characters and new characters, possibly one or two obscure ones. If they are brave enough to take the risk of doing this line, they are brave enough to take some risks with it. To be honest, with my wish lists I am adult enough to know that a lot of what I would like won’t get made. But that’s part of the fun of guessing. Would I appreciate the Seven Soldiers of Victory? You’re damn right I would. Do I seriously expect to get them? No, I really don’t, but a man can dream.
  15. She’s been in comics over 60 years as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, but in more recent popular culture she was in the Lego animated movie Cosmic Clash. We have her original team mates Cosmic Boy and Lightning Lad, but Lego stopped short of completing the lineup for reasons. @Robert8 on an aside Imaginext have been running an equivalent series (albeit with fewer characters per series) and they are on like series 6. They have been putting some good obscure characters and versions in, like Kingdom Come Superman and Aquaman, and it still sells. My son is 5, and he sees those mentioned as Superman’s dad and smart Aquaman, and he loves them. Child logic is different from ours and if Lego can tap it then all success to them.
  16. Someone asked on Quora and the top answer gives about 150. The others I’m including non-comic iterations ie Lego and movie versions. If there isn’t a bonafide list I may have to create one.
  17. Apparently there was something in the most recent episode that was most definitely not for kids
  18. This is Lego we’re talking about here. Of course we need them And DC to boot. I definitely need all of them.
  19. There’s scope for about 200 Batsuits, not all of which could be minifigure only. Not many characters get that level of variety. It would be overkill, but damned impressive. Alright not all are worn by Bruce, but they still count.
  20. Not just one. I could spin out the CMF for a good few years with heroes, villains, first generation iterations, second generation iterations, eras, worlds, teams, events, or until I become bankrupt, whichever comes first.
  21. Which is why Falconfan said people are going to get upset with what’s coming and why I think this thread is getting out of hand. I’m glad that the threads busy, but holy moly there’s some confused folk out there.
  22. Me: logs on to see the DC Rumours thread is hot, goes in, face palms, leaves.
  23. Set 70914 has a modern interpretation...
