  1. Well it’s pretty much new prints and a possible Clayface fig, but the theme is still going so it’s not all bad. Thanks @SpiderJazz for the update
  2. In order for it to work it needs a stud recess inside. This would make sense of the distortion. Makes it more universal
  3. I did wonder how they would carry off the helmet, as the existing one is 2x2 and in two parts. Any smaller would be difficult to work with Lego dimensions. This being one piece makes sense, even if it’s not to everyone’s taste. But hey, it’s Mysterio!
  4. That Freeze head is excellent. If the rest of him is as good then he will get to be my primary display. Same goes for the Damian torso, it’s just the right amount of detail. Gordon intrigues me. Maybe just maybe we will see a trench coat.
  5. It could be it’s own topic thread.
  6. Yeah, the Black Adam movie was one of the first non-trinity ones touted, but that a couple of years ago now. But you look at how big a commodity Johnson is and whether he’s started on it yet, and the likelihood is that filming won’t begin until 2020 at the earliest.
  7. Most tie-in sets are inaccurate, let alone the figures. At this point I don’t care how he comes presented, just glad to get him. It’s recognisably him, so what’s the worry? (Sorry, hypothetical question, not directed at you )
  8. Ok, so it’s the LB3 take on the New 52 suit. It’s not like Lego to be ahead of the curve like that.
  9. Holy lack of detail, Batman, those legs need replacing. However the torso is great. We’re getting him at least.
  10. sorry, deja vu. We’re getting close now. Another Golden Ager to join the ranks. I do think that Sivana could easily be purist built using Prof Strange’s or Doc Ock’s head, but a dedicated fig will be welcomed.
  11. Sadly not Black Adam and allegedly no mention of him. The chances of him being portrayed by Dwayne Johnson are getting slimmer unless it’s completely under wraps. Hopefully he will appear at some point to help bolster the LoD ranks (Adam not Johnson )
  12. Come on, Big Red Cheese! Batson and/or Sivana, preferably the former. Build I’m not fussed about but a weapon of Sivana’s would be cool.
  13. I’ll take that. The name suggests that it’s capable of things other than time travel. It also confirms the suggestion that the whole team conceived it.
  14. I know that, but the rumour still persists and I was wondering if it had any merit.
  15. A really nice touch is the Wayne Enterprises logo on the aptly named Bat-hemoth. Six months to get cut is a downer, though.
  16. It’s still heavily hinted in various places that 76121 is Shazam. Is this no longer the case?
  17. I was thinking Gotham, something that lives near Killer Croc or a Professor Strange experiment
  18. I think you’re spot on with this, it’s a smart move by Lego as it is a far-out build that is incredibly tempting to AFOLS and a sure fire hit with the kids. The wave is also a really nice tease for anything that follows.
  19. I wasn’t sure about moulded head Buzz from before but seeing Woody makes me appreciate what was.
  20. See $3 is not a massive difference, but ten times the price for a polybag? You kind of expect that from a retired and rare polybag that’s still hard to find. @SpiderJazz to a very casual Marvel fan those are all just words
  21. I will never understand why people will buy things like this (and they will) at that kind of price, because as soon as it’s commercially available then early purchase bragging rights mean nothing. Have patience, save money.
  22. So you mean these sets would be better if they were different sets? out of context your changes might work, but these are based on a source so probably look right
  23. Loving the look of this theme, innovative and fun. TLG desperately want to get a successful hold on the AR side of things, and hopefully this will go some way to help that. As much as I really like the idea, I would eventually want physical versions of the ghosts, but other than that it’s an exciting move.
  24. The way this year is going my son’s Christmas is sorted already. As long as it’s true of course
  25. That’s still theorised. They are all white, they all have the Avengers logo on, and they are worn by members of the team. The ‘watch’ purpose is still only a theory as nothing has been confirmed in order to maintain suspense and intrigue. They wear ‘unique’ versions of the suit because they are designed around and compensate for their existing suits. TLG themselves stated that they had made too many bricks. This was as much a fact as a metaphor, as it covers all elements of the company and their production. This includes licensed theme saturation (Superheroes, Mighty Micros and Superhero Girls), misjudged market expansion (Dimensions), themes consisting of mostly large sets (Minecraft), and minifigure over exuberance (dual moulding and limb printing). It takes a long time to steer away from such overconfidence, and Lego are working hard on this, which means that certain things have to give. In a very short time period fans have gone from having occasional arm printing to loads of arm printing to hardly any, and unfortunately despite being AFOLs some can’t handle this change in a mature and dignified way. If you were to berate the company’s penchant for recycling sets and overusing minifigures, like in the case of Batman I would be more inclined to agree, but you have to remember that we are not the key demographic.
