  1. This is now officially a thing I need
  2. I know they didn’t necessarily have to pick her for the series, but her original suit has plain black legs
  3. For the curious Batman 1939, Detective Comics #27 Wonder Woman 1941, All Star Comics #8 Cheetah 1943, Wonder Woman #6 Sinestro 1961, Green Lantern Vol 2 #7 Metamorpho 1965, The Brave and the Bold #57 Mr Miracle 1971, Mr Miracle #1 (he might be a later version, will alter when a clearer picture comes out) Bumblebee 1976, Teen Titans #48 (as Bumblebee, the character first appeared in #45) Cyborg 1980, DC Comics Presents #26 Aquaman (in particular this version) 1995, Aquaman Vol 5 #9 Stargirl 1999, Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. #0 Huntress (if we’re sticking with New 52) 2011, Worlds’ Finest #1 Simon Baz 2012, New 52 Free Comic Book Day Edition
  4. It’s as official as leaked information can be.
  5. That Aquaman is excellent. The harpoon hand and Ocean Master’s torso go a long way to making Sea King from Crime Syndicate. I know it’s a spot a new character could have had but it’s such a nice figure. And Mr Miracle, get in!
  6. She’s been prominent in TTG, she’s been in the original TT show, the Super Hero High show, and she’s more high profile than thousands of characters.
  7. I really like the Cheetah fig, it’s a decent representation. Bumblebee has plain legs, which may seem annoying but it’s entirely accurate.
  8. Bumblebee predates Crisis by nearly ten years - she predates Cyborg - Courtney post dates Crisis by over ten years. They aren’t in the same Age. The order of appearances is Batman 1939 Wonder Woman 1941 Cheetah 1943 Sinestro 1961 Metamorpho 1965 Bumblebee 1976 Cyborg 1980 Stargirl 1999 Huntress (if we’re sticking with New 52) 2011 Simon Baz 2012
  9. Essentially. We didn’t know the design of his power ring until much later, but it’s a good opportunity to create a new print. I would love Alan Scott, but I think that’s ambitious at this stage. I never thought when we were wish listing a while ago that we would actually see Golden Age characters. Bring on the JSA!
  10. Ok, so far we know of three Golden Agers; Batman, Wonder Woman and Cheetah. You have Silver Age Sinestro and Metamorpho. Bumblebee, Cyborg and Huntress are Bronze Age, and Stargirl and Simon Baz are Modern Age. If you get three more GA to match the Trinity, that leaves three spots left. Theoretically. There are also currently four potential villains. We need more villainy!
  11. It was always going to be because the license saps away some of the budget. But look at the new pieces we do have. a) it’s too late to sway the outcome and b) it’s kind of expected as we had Supes’ 80th, now Batman’s, and very soon it will be Wonder Woman’s. @Falconfan1414 how close was I? It was a toss up between Ravager and Bumblebee.
  12. Dang, that doesn’t leave many. If it’s one of those I’m surprised as they are deep cut city. If it’s not I’m beginning to wonder what I’ve missed.
  13. I don’t think it’s going to be Slade, it seems a bit obvious and he’s in more than just TTG. So not Starfire, Robin as Batman, Killer Moth, Brain/Mallah, Terra, Gizmo, Jinx, Brother Blood, Red X or Dr Light. I would rule out the rest of the main cast. Speedy, Aqualad, Bumblebee, Mas y Menos, and B’wana Beast, Jim Gordon are possible heroes. Billy Numerous (genius move for army building) and See-More are the only Hive options, as Mammoth would be too big. Other villains left that aren’t too large are Mad Mod, Control Freak, Mumbo, Mother Mae-Eye, Ravager. I’m going to go Ravager, just because it’s a nice twist on Slade.
  14. That helmet is smart, I have to admit. This is an intriguing riddle, as it could be a main character or villain, but easily some weird reference. My first thought was Robin as Batman, even though it means takes a spot. My preference would be Brain and Mallah, even if Mallah is human sized.
  15. I think this comes under “damned if you do, damned if you don’t”. At the moment - aside from this one - it’s hard to gauge accuracy until we get actual details of which version of who they were going for.
  16. As long as Lego doesn’t take drastic action over the high level of leaks
  17. Critics be darned, I’m happy. We’re getting these figures and they’re padding out the current range pretty well with some nice variations. Keep it coming!
  18. I don’t think we will get a full set of any team. This is Lego we’re talking about. They might give us Saturn Girl after all this time, but they are so good at leaving DC fans hanging that I would be surprised if we got more than two of any one known team. I’m discounting JL and the larger villain teams. I’m beginning to wonder if there’s a certain debut feel to this series. That would be a themed theme.
  19. Nice OG Cyborg. I was thinking the other day whether to put a flying hat on Beast Boy, now I might have to. Stoked for the others, too.
  20. Oh yeah, there’s going to be influence; having read the TLBM Making the Movie book I know there are DC fans in the company, and I would expect them to keep a weather eye on things.
  21. I’m planting my flag firmly on the side of Legoised comic versions. I don’t think we’ll see other versions. Unless by some fluke the four reveals just happened to be comic only, I don’t see it. They could have made Sinestro from the BatB cartoon, Stargirl from Legends and Metamorpho from Beware the Batman, for example. Just my two pence worth.
  22. That’s a smart set. Now to find out how to get it. It says Limited Edition, is it going to be near impossible to get like the Bat-pod?
  23. That’s not Batman, that’s a reanimated dead clone. A phrase I never thought I’d say, let alone type. Anyhoo, that’s from Blackest Night. Darkest Knight is the Green Lantern Batman. I doubt that they would put another Lantern into this line.
  24. Based on the details we now possess, I put forward my latest list for the CMF 1. Sinestro w/ ring and lantern 2. Star Girl w/ cosmic rod 3. Metamorpho w/ big hand 4. Simon Baz w/ ring and lantern 5. Dr Fate w/ new helmet and ankh piece 6. Zatanna w/ top hat and hair combo, wand 7. 1939 Batman with bigger cape 8. Mad Hatter w/ cup and saucer 9. Atom w/ microfig of same 10. Heatwave w/ gun 11. Kid Flash w/ energy drink 12. Black Lightning w/ new lighting piece 13. Saturn Girl w/ Legion ring 14. Metallo w/ kryptonite 15. Clark Kent w/ Daily Planet 2x2 tile 16. Dr Poison w/ bottles like Prof Strange I know some of the accessories seem a bit dull, but the IP will cost and it’s Lego.
  25. He wouldn’t form his own Corps until 45 years after his first appearance, so a colour coordinated suit/ring combo wasn’t really a thing. That’s a difficult one to gauge as America is a big place, unless they had sales records. Don’t know. Not picking a fight, by the way Now Sinestro’s accessories have surfaced I’m even happier. And he’s dual faced. Happy days!
