ASK HERE MOC-stuck? Ask for general building advice here!
SNIPE replied to mrklaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
HI, On second thoughts I think I might just build it without those supports for now then buy the parts and see how it is in real life when on a base-plate as its hard to tell with a digital model . -
ASK HERE MOC-stuck? Ask for general building advice here!

Hi, I am making a stunt track in LDD but hope tO buy the track soon but on the corner which curves inwards too I don't know how to keep it stable and have little 'wobble' in the track. Maybe hinges could work but how I don't know how they would stay in unfolded and to the right angle. I need ideas on how to support this part of the track but to have the supports attach flat on the floor end, on the track end it will obviously need to angle to attach to the track. The track goes straight again at the exit of the curve, Ill probably use base plates too, underneath the whole track so it can be put on carpet without being unstable. HONDA CBR1000RR REPSOL edition
SNIPE replied to oryx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
the body is amazing how it looks very similar to the real thing , usually studs give this away but the fact that it still has a working engine and rear drive, twin rear shocks and front suspension steering, and all the other stuff is a rare thing well done!, I hope to see more creations- 71 replies

Nice idea using bushes as rims I used to have a similar MOC but it was a go cart but couldn't get the motor to join to the wheels. (I used 4x5 stud a 9v motor mounted so the axle was motor axle was driving a worm gear that was on the rear axle). it was wired instead of wireless too to save weight and since it was so tiny Maybe the new L motor might give more room and have more holes for things to attach to.

5 Famous Products That Are Shameless Rip-Offs
SNIPE replied to fred67's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's a good thing that lego is still here and has so many parts to choose from as well as sets, if you have an invention it can be worthless unless you play it right like the lego company did, and they still do which s why they are still around (I'm on about marketing, etc) -
"The Sun" Newspaper Lego promotion (UK)
SNIPE replied to RednWhite's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'm getting the figures as somebody I know get the sun (always) I don't even know visually what the sets are but I guess that makes it fun. -
Some 487 sets were sold with grey windows, and some of the red mini figs had black arms if I recall correctly. I got part of the 497 set off the marketplace. and the red minifigs I cant remember when I got but it was with a set but I was very young then. I also got the UFO theme sets but only the small wing fighters from that time, they used to come free with the newspapers. Ill post pics later on.

Is it supposed to be in black and white? It looks like the red technic motorbike to me -
I take mu cabinets out of the corner , put them in a row on the floor and start building using the floor. Sometimes I build small stuff at my desk. Before the cabinets I had two big boxes and at one point one big one (one box was more system the other was more technic) but when it was all in 1 box some of them were still in original lego boxes or build as models, these were sets bought in modern times. One of my cabinets is just for the unimog at the minute and instead of a cabinet for system I have a flat storage box that isnt sorted except for some more common parts I have like plates.

Eyes bigger than your stomach (or bricks)?

Is there a way to get more money to fund this hobby? You'll probably find you'll need more money regarding lego no matter on size or complexity, detail, etc -
HI, Im looking for a lego part that is the right lengh and that has a cross hole, it is to replace the red part in this image and it has to fit flush against the cross support of the suspention arm. I have tried using a 1x1 technic brick with a 1x1 plate and then a 1x1 tile stacked, iit has some friction but not enough as an exle hole to mesh the cross axle. The problem with this red brick is the end of it has other stuff in the way that cant be moved. note that it can only be the same thickness as the above (1L)
