What connects to this 20 tooth gear? -

Thanks!, Here is the LDraw version for people who dont have stud.io installed Some parts are missing, maybe somebody can fix that, this file was simply converted to .ldr using stud.io and is not my work :) -
Hi, Since it is possible to control both the control+ motors with the powered up 4 port hub, I was wondering if it is possible to power the powered up/wedo/boost motors with the control+ hub Either using the control+ or buwizz app with the control+ hub. (both work suprisingly). I think we should make an excel spreadsheet saying what motors and hubs are compatable.(9V,PF,NXT,EV3,Boost, Powered Up, Wedo, Control+, Spike Prime)
-
The battery box should have revere current protection You should be able to turn it off by holding the green button down There should be a remote for control+ just like there is power functions. You would not be able to use the sound or gyro, or program it, but it is reliable for driving and steering.

I'm sick and tired of control+. I have 10 battries, 4 had plenty charge so I put two (of the 6) dead ones in, same make, same type.the hub just blinked orange and wouldnt pair. I tried more pairs the rest of the 6 dead batteriesm, Still nothing. So I charge them over night and plug them in this morning. Now the stupid app says to push the green button which I already have and am doing!! You can't even turn the hub off without the aid of a phone or taking the battery box out (which is also annoying and fiddly) I have HAD IT, my 42099 is now in pieces and I may not even botber buying the 42100 for twice the annoyance. As soon as Lego put a stupid app behind something all hell breaks loose. All that just cause I wanted to use a LEGO model, which I couldn't because of this GENIOUS app

Maybe those two uv joints beside the gearbox could be converted to straight axles by mirroring or moving the assembly so its on the right and then thus connects to whats on the right better. This could make a little more room for a motor. -
Pimp my landy

Maybe using those new 7x11 frames would allow for more compact mechanisms and structures since you can just surround a load of parts with the frames. So maybe motorisation will be possible.I wanna move the wishbones in 1L and add the chiron disk brakes first of all, and probably add all wheel steering. It is going to be extremely hard to motorize it, like on the limit of what is technically possible for lego and will require Clever Art techniques and minimalism (but reliability) for structures and mechanisms. Oh also removable body as one assembly shouldnt be too hard. I look forward to seeing what we can do with this excellant set. -

I wonder if it will have one reverse speedlike in the chiron or 4*2 speeds this set is almost as complicated as the bugatti chiron when you think about it. -

Lego 42098 Car Transporter Mods

Well, there might already be a car in the way on the lower deck, so upper ramps is for convenience. -

I've been rattling by brain trying to figure out what part is used for the rear door latch 'claw/tooth'. It looks like a lego system curved slope but it has a 1 x 2 x 0.5 liftarm (blue) on top of it so it cant be a curved slope because the studs would obstruct the blue liftarm. It also looks like it may be attached to the blue liftarm with a red 2L axle. -

One mod I wanna do is add a ramp to the upper deck like how theres one connecting the lower decks. -

I was suprised that there is no ramps on the upper deck like there is on the lower deck, just for convenience -

I just know not to get lego dirty cause it's not designed for that . -

Ah I see my error now, the part holding the axle should be a pinhole with two ajecent axles, connected to beams either side with cross holes. Nice technique using the 18587, which way round does it go? -

Here is a better portal hub, now with steering: Yes it probably can be improved. -
Hopefully I am allowed to reply to this in this forum and not in 'general site disgussion' since that will take longer for him to get a reply. You have to send a private message a moderator asking them to delete it. You could also report your own post asking for it to be deleted, but maybe if too many people do that it would be a bad thing athough it may be quicker than a PM. I'd ask @Jim what is the the best method.

Is this mod possible?
SNIPE replied to swimminginbricks101's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
There is an even more compact version of the gearbox: It is possible but not the way you want it as per your original post.
