Can I spend VIP points on bricks & pieces orders
SNIPE replied to SNIPE's topic in General LEGO Discussion
well you're wrong because I spent 16,000 points on the 100£ voucher but now I dont have enough for any more vouchers. so yeah, it is a scam. This is why I didnt want to use these stupid vouchers in the first place! IDK why the VIP programme used to be great and now it sucks. -

But the vouchers are for £100, £50, £20, £10 and £5 so how the heck am I supposed to pay £141.81 + delivery!? LEGO are serioustly taking the piss right now and I'll be complaining like mad soon for treating me this way. Never mind that I have spent tens of thousands of pounds on lego products. They can shove their scamming tactice up their big behind I'm not fooled by it at all. VIP POINTS SHOULD BE EQUIVELANT IN EVERY WAY TO COINS / NOTES OTHERWISE ITS A SCAM. WHY HAS THE VIP PROGRAMME BEEN SCREWED UP?!?!? -

As the 42126 Ford f150 raptor comes out in 1 month I thought I would, in preparation create a topic discussing and showing off some of our MODs for this set. This is because people are quick to build the set from the instruction booklet, and/or quick to reverse engineer the set or parts of it and so therefore I don't want to have to wait for people to make a thread after I have already built the set because I'll be bored I would like to of course try: Building it in dark blue like the prototype, Adding 4wd/AWD Diff locks Gear box with hi/low range and transfer case DNR selector Aesthetic improvements. Feel free to show your ideas down below! Regards, Snipe

[Software] LDCad - LDraw cad
SNIPE replied to legolijntje's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
We need a unified organizer like what programming IDE's have, where we can, in one pane: Have a way to more easily create, preview, drag and drop, delete, and switch to submodels.sub-sub models, etc View the parts bin, search for a part, go to part file in windows explorer View inventory or the whole model, or of a given submodel Create, delete new parts, switch to the part editing view. The last one is useful if you need to create "helper" parts of two difficult to align parts that are not on a ldraw template yet. So basically everything can just be added, delted, dragged and dropped as if they were all parts bin items. We can already do this in ldcad 1.6 but its too clunky and isnt done in one pane This probably means getting rid of the current parts bin categories: library sorted by function - dont see a use for this library sorted by category - gets corrupted all the time anyhow, I just use the search tool to search for categories, part names or part IDs parts listings of lego setss - it is just 3 prebuilt sets, point number 3 above can do this anyhow if you import the model. template parts - search tool can find these specical parts - search tool can find these parts usage history - dont see a use for this -
Can I spend VIP points on bricks & pieces orders

hmm I couldnt find any of the options you said, only option I found was 'rewards' where you can buy vouchers that are worth up to £100 using the vip points. But, while it says the voucher works for lego.com online orders, i'm not sure if this will work for lego bricks and pieces orders. -
Hi, not sure if this is the right forum on EB but here it goes: I have 16,286 VIP points and currently have a bricks and pieces basket of £141.25, is it possible to use my VIP points to pay for this, or at least pay for most of this? If so, how do I do it? Regards, Snipe

OK, I actually think the bent beams are a new parts, not just the 4 x 6 45 degree beam, I think it is a 4 x 6 L beam, it cannot be a 3 x 5 because it does not fit. Looking at the image of the box of the set, they look too steep to be 45 degrees, more like 90 degrees. Also, regarding my previous comment, yes the 2 x 1 grill slopes fit with a small gap so idk why lego didn't use them hehe.

I just realized something. this new extra long female CV joint could also be used to hold a 3L clutchr ring, but you can only have one clutch gear on that it can mesh with. The new-ish male CV joints fit perfectly inside of linear actuator mounting brackets too.- 5,466 replies
