  1. Hey hey hey! Some of us love that cat/unicorn/1x3-brick-thing and everything she shows up in! Plus she assimilated into the Classic Space motif; Unikitty is always a team player. Here's hoping for magical unicorn cat in Pirates and Bionicle.
  2. Good looking out Johnwil. The one in my picture is the "7M" length. 32580 Flex Rod 7M Good example of that part type usage on Pirates of Barracuda bay, front of the ship in yellow. Flexy. That's 32200 Flex Rod 12M
  3. Oh yeah good catch, thanks. I know why I forgot that; because I blocked it out after I went out of my way to get that for significant other when it was discontinued and expensive and they were like "thanks but I'm never opening or building it" and I was like "fine, whatever scalper". So I dumped them.
  4. Hooray! Some of us didn't know what to do. Pacing back and forth. Etching the passing days into the wall. Starting builds and abandoning them halfway through. Contemplating visiting other sites. Thanks Eurobricks internet technology administrator people and all the behind the scenes work!
  5. Same license within the same theme, NASA (if that can be considered a license) but other licenses have spurred additional sets outside of and after the initial Ideas sets: Minecraft Micro World (Ideas 2012) was followed by an entire Minecraft theme of over 70 sets (2013-2021). Ghostbusters Ecto 1 (Ideas 2014) was followed by two Dimensions packs (2016), the massive Firehouse HQ (2016), Ecto 1-2 (from reboot movie 2016), Brickheadz (2018), the massive Creator Expert Ecto 1 (2020) Doctor Who (Ideas 2015) was followed by a Dimensions pack (2015) Beatles Yellow Submarine (Ideas 2016) was followed by the Mosaic (2020), maybe a stretch on that one. And Saturn V and Ship In A Bottle have both been re-released.
  6. Well the last time I bricklinked something Lego went and 'out-of-the-vault'ed the same set as a VIP-point-purchasable item.
  7. You know what Lego, just cancel this and make a Fabuland set. Those characters are absolutely hilarious and we need more of that in this world.
  8. The devotees of other people's second and third choices have many comrades. We will be more united in the next battle.
  9. Never too late! Excellent info. I did try upside down but didn't want to force all three as it looked very tight, great to know it works though thanks!
  10. There's been some debate about this but it does appear the reddish browns are at least a little more vulnerable. Still stinks though. I myself have had a couple more brown pieces break as well since that last post. Only reddish browns.
  11. Scalpers and bacteria! The two viruses have combined, this is antigenic shift.
  12. Great analysis to break it down and point out things like more than a third (38.5%) of the Bionicle voters didn't vote for a second or third choice. 'Bionicle or no anniversary at all!' And the totals of all space themes (28K) and all castle themes (21K) both beat bionicle's total. Polls like these are indeed easily manipulated with automation, even the account creation process can be done with a bot.
  13. Yeah they're outrageously expensive. Here's hoping they get down to around $0.05 or less They've never released this piece on B&P have they? 99249 Mini Bouq. Stem W. 3.2 Shaft I see the tan stem above as a sort of substitute.
  14. Nah there's no pin opening on the bottom, I wished it did as well. But its still pretty versatile. You can't connect the bracelet-style flowers (like the modular building flowers) to all three stems as one is too short but you can with the newer flowers and the three-leaf plants. @TheLegoDr
  15. 68211 Plant, W/ 3.2 Shaft, No. 3 from the Sesame St set and Minions build (in black).
  16. Glad it could help! I often forget to search out the more mundane pieces like that but recolors are just as important as the new molds!
  17. Thanks and I agree about losing the side-by-side seating. There are certainly many more solutions that would retain it but until there's more pieces molded in the Bright Bluish Green the current options are a bit limited.
  18. Looks like their poll brigading worked.
  19. Very cool surrealist creation! The smooth rounded organic shapes of the grey contrasting with the loose geometric plate terrain and the two-color palette is very unique and visually stimulating. Most excellent result of a single-piece inspired creation.
  20. Lol, a mosaic of whatever theme wins. There's your Bionicle revival!
  21. I don't know how I always forget about this, search, remember and then think: "why wouldn't they be angry at Star Wars and not Lego?" On topic I agree, no way there's an iceberg.
  22. There's nothing really un-adult-like happening here. Some were hoping for a goat, others wanted a more subdued color set and many are saying they're still going to get it despite any minor disappointment. That doesn't mean that Ideas is becoming MOCers just congratulating each other and the notion that ideas submissions don't look like actual sets TLG would make was also thoroughly debunked in the main Ideas thread. And speculating that anyone who says that something disappoints them about an official set wouldn't dare say the same thing to a private builder's design is probably spot on. Private builders are inherently and undeniably limited in comparison to the multi-billion dollar Lego Group which has whole teams of the best builders and mountains of every part ever made. It'd be nice if more people commented on other's creations and designs rather than speculate what one may or may not say to a private builder just because of something else they said about an official set.
  23. Mid Dec order. Predominantly small parts, mostly 4070 headlight bricks and the rounded tiles. Threw in a stingray like everyone else
  24. Who are the yet unmarried Christiansens.
  25. This is good info. Hey everyone, we're not supposed to build our own things or share them! Just consume what the company makes for us consumers.
