Absolutely. Jang's voice and speaking style is unmatched; he is the Bob Ross of Lego reviewers.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
koalayummies replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Or it is a heroic rebel fighting against a brutal trans-galactic and multidimensional empire and their goals of universe colonization, technological singularity and forced biological assimilation by taking back their precious stolen and monopolized resources needed to both live and continue the fight against the savage interstellar mechanized militant space police arm that does their bidding. -
[MOC] Free Vane and burn Nassau to the ground!!!
koalayummies replied to Mpyromaxos's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is so awesome. What a fantastic and wildly detailed creation. Really like the town buildings to the right, the rocky shoreline and beach spilling over and the aesthetic of the fort. Also miss those old palm tree trunk pieces so much. Absolutely wonderful MOC!- 37 replies

Lego: Makes instructions straightforward and user-friendly so almost anyone can build it, especially those in the recommended age group. Consumer: Why would they make the instructions so clear and understandable. This is way too easy. Sign of the times. Indignation.

Yes you are, don't be so hard on yourself. You make your own creations so by definition you are MOCer. Excellent detailing and utilization of the small interior space and I like the train windshield pieces for bay windows. Nice work.

Very awesome recreation of this church at such a small scale! Really like the 1x1 bricks w/5studs and bars technique you built for the clock tower part. Excellent microscale work!

Kid tells his father he wants the new PlayStation but his father thought he said Police Station and buys this. But really his father is an unscrupulous scalper using automated bots and virtual credit cards to purchase products online the instant they become available and is stockpiling both (along with RTX 3090s, Nintendo Switches, Nikes, Adidas, isopropyl) in order to resell well above msrp. Kid gets a Hatchimal from last year instead.

Probably minutes along with the wait list thing to even access the website like the day after thanskgiving. Mostly scooped up by bricklink resellers.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion

The photography in here is pure eye candy. Really liking the new road system pieces. -
Agreed. The underlying premise of this thread and some responses in it are wondering if its a "case of kids getting dumber" and insinuating learning disabilities. Cantankerously vociferating: "well back in my day they didn't number the bags or tell us what pieces were in the next step so kids these days must be slow and soft or something!" I think those at TLG would be just a little disappointed at that kind of response to their efforts of making the building process as widely accessible as they have.

Would support this but hyperdrives should hit a minimum of 186,282.397 miles per second. This is just a regular old hypodrive.

Most excellent ExeSandbox! Your Donut Shop was beautiful and this is as well. The snot facade, the bar plate pieces upside-down for the window trim, that cash register, the textile work on the second floor draped over the table, typewriter, pith helmet sink. Brilliant designs, connections and parts usage abound and a very fresh subject. The thought and dedication shows everywhere. A fantastic creation you've made!

'kids these days', 'hah, phone bad', 'millenials/zoomers ruining ________ industry'... ok boomer.

Thanks gotoAndLego! I tried a number of color combinations for the window awnings and planters and settled on the Azures as a compliment to the Nougat/Dark Orange roofing. And yes: https://www.flickr.com/photos/144500331@N07

75192, toss instructions into recycling, open all bags, jump into that pile like Scrooge McDuck.

Got Lego from amazon and this is how it was shipped
koalayummies replied to Shompis's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yes. Direct from Lego as well. Also on a shipment of photographic equipment worth many times more than this yoda toy. But if nothing is missing and the product itself is unopened then that's pretty much the end of the story right? Are you asking if we would return it because the tape seal on the box is slightly worn? -
Since its turning into a 'no, my solution is cooler' thread here's the opposite end of the spectrum: Modular 2.0 Fully Brick Built Roads Peedeejay: tmctiger: From Swebrick.se the Moduverse design: Swebrick Moduverse:

It's also in this not so expensive set: 40198: LEGO Ludo Game or you can order them from bricks and pieces for around $8.

First I've seen of the new dog mold, that looks great! The one in that City set is Brick Yellow, whats the other color?

Yeah back in those days the modular buildings had to sprint up Gangkhar Puensum both ways before being approved wearing nothing but massive unkempt sprawling macho beards with overweight baby woolly mammoths tied to their backs and no silly stories! Those were real modular buildings!

Keeping track of parts or buying new ones?
koalayummies replied to Lira_Bricks's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Take stuff apart. If you never take anything apart it might as well be Kragle'd. Photograph it, share it with the world and then build something new with those pieces. Its ok to look back, but don't stare.- 13 replies

Preventing LEGO sets from getting dusty
koalayummies replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's a good tool. When this has come up in the past others have recommended a new makeup brush as well. @MAB's suggested method is good to, take the builds into another room and use a handheld dust blower bulb. -
If they're literally starving then a plastic construction toy wouldn't help.
