Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Oh yeah. Same here. I think the resellers are just constantly hitting the site and checking. Whereas we do other stuff. Like take showers. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
koalayummies replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I mean yeah, I personally would only maybe want one and it would see limited use for my own personal build subject matter. If everyone wanted 20, ok sure, I don't see any problem with that. But 100+ of that part is like... really? Come on, right? -

That's a good question, others would know better than me! There's obviously the 200 per piece limit and they could conceivably reduce the limit on certain parts like reindeer. But, I'm a little inebriated. Someone else tag in! -

LOL, so they're stuck with $544 of reindeer. I like it. -

Because the one you voted on had a goat . They're just disappointed that it doesn't have one. The goat has only been in one set in the past so fans were hoping to see a return. If they were making the goat again then builders could get them direct from Lego for a few bucks instead of that outrageous $45 to $113 that bricklinkers are listing them at. -
10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Discussion

The fact that we're even talking about a potential UCS Space Shuttle is very exciting. STS-61 was one of the most important missions ever so gonna have to go with Endeavour.- 310 replies

Aw dang, I was going to do more but I wasn't sure how it'd be received. Glad you enjoyed it, there's still plenty of silly potential there. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Good to know, I did not know that! And yeah without a doubt. This happens every time a bunch here are in consensus about a desirable piece that is just released or about to be on B&P and then pop over to bricklink and see a whole slew of sellers with an absurd amount for ridiculous prices as it repeatedly goes in and out of stock on B&P. The pumpkins, dark brown leaf pieces, reindeer. Those here just want to build while they're over there doing absurdity. -
That's a lot of fun, fantastic little vignettes. I only got one right but there are a ton of video games, so you could keep this going forever! Great builds!

Botanical Collection - Rumours and Discussion
koalayummies replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
No worries. The goal of Bonsai is to create a miniature tree and the original green leaf design looked like there was little too much leaf reduction even though at some points one might completely defoliate to encourage growth of the trunk, branches and roots. Just felt the original is scant on the green foliage coupled with uncharacteristically thick branches which is often avoided with many bonsai aesthetic principles. Definitely share your adaptations. Its a unique set that I suspect will lend itself to some interesting and fun designs.- 137 replies

Set looks really good, excellent work to all the designers and original builder. Here's hoping for an all goat 'battlepack'. -

Curious what the B&P price for the reindeer is if anyone remembers. -
Yeah this is a really great set. Most excellent work Arne and congrats on the win and having this set made! Its really cool that you're here on EB as well. The car is fantastic and your daughter's color choice coupled with your design got us a pretty sizeable number of part recolors for Bright Bluish Green in one set. I've been messing around with the build and came up with another possible surfboard relocation for those interested; the method seen in a bunch of Speed Champions sets (but you'll lose the neat ability to have two side-by side figures). Along with some minor cosmetic changes working around the still very limited Bright Bluish Green. Its a really fun set to tinker with. And since all the surfboards are taken...

Its a Boaty McBoatface, Mister Splashy Pants, John Scott NHL All-Star style internet vote so we should all be writing in the same absurd thing. Like FabulandGalidorBelville. LOL. -
3:30-4:43, the "pre-pack line" Megafactories Lego 3 of 3 "Phase 4, the pre-pack line. Workers manually fill every sorting machine with the corresponding element. The pre-pack line divides the Lego pieces [for the police station set] into smaller groups before going into the boxes. Finely calibrated sorting machines count exact numbers of pieces while keeping the line moving at a fast pace. The air in the plastic bags keeps the pieces from breaking during shipping. At full speed the line packs over 50,000 bags a day. And they get the piece count in each right by tracking weight down to the milligram. Every cartridge goes through six weight checkpoints. If the weight is off the final checkpoint kicks the cartridge out for manual verification. The system has to keep up a steady pace along all pre-pack lines."

Here's the Bonsai with Brick Yellow 'wood base' as opposed to the Reddish Brown. Also made the foliage a bit more poofy. Really cool set. The instructions have a bunch of pictures of other designs and themed-builds similar to those seen in the designer video (like Pirates and Space themed, coral reef themed etc) so it'll be cool to see what builders come up with.- 137 replies

What this Eurobricks member witnessed on a young Lego builder's birthday. Behavior like that should be unpopular. Hit up the Lego store then list it on Bricklink.
