Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

AmperZand that will be nice to see. The reindeer will be quite useful for several applications for builders. I can see some great hunting scenes coming too. -

Will you be creating a new elf faction for the new reindeer/stag? I always like your idea's for armies. It would work for Thranduil's steed from the hobbit movies. I have a bunch of the blue patronus ones because I wanted to build up a faction of ghouls using the dementor torso's. -
My youngest son and I built the skull dragon set. I really like the dragon and agree with most people that the lack of mobility with the wings is a negative but overall the set is great. The dragon looks fantastic and is quite bulky. My son had a great time building his and just finished it today. He is now comparing it to his other Ninjago dragons. We both had a great time building the dragon and it was fun watching him fly his dragon around and see if it would beat the Ulta dragon or his ice dragon. We both want to get more sets maybe this weekend.

I love the bats from Chima. They were some nicely printed figs.

I've actually been very lucky and never had a missing piece and I've been into lego since the 80's. My kids usually have pieces fall on the floor or get stuck in the bag. Hope my luck lasts.

Nice looking faction there. The trebuchet is very nicely done, and has some great range to it. Good video too.

NIce little build. I really like the sea creature, the colors and the look of the spikes and scales look great. The rock work and the water with the combination of the snow makes for nice scenery. Great story to go along with the build. -

Neat little build. I like the sand green and the broken column. The plants with the flowers give the build a nice touch of flora. Nice fig too. I really like the monkey king fig it is a great fig and the head hair piece are so useful.- 7 replies

This is a nice model. I've already supported this in Lego ideas. I like the classic feel of the castle itself with some rock work thrown in. The different angles are nice. I like the tan accents throughout the build. The figs are great.

Who know's at this point apparently Target is saying they will have them August 15th now. But if they don't get them in stock by then it could be later with the factory in Mexico being down. My son was disappointed, he was looking forward to building the skull dragon. Hope Target has them, I will be checking on the 15th.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
zoth33 replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
My local Lego store here in Connecticut said they wouldn't have them till September. I hope Target has them earlier but we will see, They can't ship them if they don't have them in stock. So it's just a waiting game at this point. -
Very interesting. Thank you for the info and the web link. Definitely fun to watch and see all that goes into the process of making the sets and the theme as a whole.

The people at the lego store said they are delayed till September.

Very cool. I like the head, very well designed. The colors you used work well together. The body and neck look very meaty as compared to official lego dragons. I like the wings, also nicely designed. The tail looks neat, I like the way it is long and very flexible. Great story to go along with the build.

Does anyone know the part number for the sword in the new Harry Potter CMF? -
The building is interesting. I like the use of the dark grey with the white behind. The snow affect throughout the build is great I really like the way you did the snow on the roof and the rock. The small trees look nice against the snow. I like the warriors versus the wolves scene. Very nice build overall

I really like the chapel. The archway for the front door is very nice. The roof is great, nice use of magnets. The detailing on the outer walls is great. Great stained glass windows too. The base and landscaping is well done, I like the plants and the fact you have a path that wraps around.

Why all the hate for Legends of Chima?
zoth33 replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes that was pretty bad. They could've done a different mold. I forgot about the beaver tribe. -
Awesome barber shop. I like the design. The windows look good. The color choices work well, and I like the plants on the outside around the building. The roof looks great, I like the way you angled the roof. The archways in the front are nice. I like the awning too. The interior is nicely detailed, I like the pictures of people on the interior. Very nice build overall.

I actually enjoyed the theme. My kids enjoyed the show and sets. The show was obviously aimed at children and isn't meant to appease us adults. But I really enjoyed the figs and some of the sets were fun to build. I use a lot of the figs in my fantasy castle builds. I actually am still looking to buy more of the wolves to increase an army I am making. The armor and wing pieces were great. I liked the spider and bat figs too. The phoenix build was really good. I actually really liked the fire and ice theme part as it produced some of the best figs and prints.
