    It's to early to tell we just got the results of the vote. It will be a while before we see anything. This set won't be out till next year.

    It received over 50% of the vote so yes they listened to the voters. The real question is if they will see an actual market for a full line of sets instead of these one off sets.

    Went to my local lego store and got the castle on Wednesday with the VIP early access. Built it over the weekend and I loved it. My youngest son helped a little. I really liked a lot of the techniques and all the details are great. The interior is really nice and that bridge/balcony transition is wonderful. Will add some of my own lion knights to the castle. Will try to upload some pics on flickr and here when I can. It was really fun to build a castle like this and makes me hopeful there will be more castle sets to come in the future.

    Also the fact that the Hogwarts castle isn't minifig scale throws it off for me. It's nice to see it next to it but it does nothing for scale as they are not built to the same scale.

    Great build. I love the architecture style of the bridge. The use of the oars and the brown plant pieces in the bridge is just lovely. This is just a wonderful representation of Elven architecture.

    That's nice. Mine were all together in a bin in pieces. So after I got out of college and got my own place they brought the bin and I sorted through and got all the minifigs out. Now I might just make updated versions of the older sets.

    I actually got that when it came out. Those were all great sets. I remember looking at the little scenes in the leaflets and trying to re-enact them.

    The knight girls armor has an extended shoulder part. This must be a new mold and wonder if they will use it in future sets that aren't printed. I think the horse head piece is detachable. I will be getting the green dragon to go with the older red ones. The elf and nutcracker are nice too. Turkey suit guy is pretty neat too.

    @SamVimes What I'm saying is not everything is offensive to everyone. Just like somehow the Washington football teams symbol on their helmet was developed by a Native american chief and yet somehow became offensive to people. This is way off topic now so moving on.

    Nice I haven't had a chance to modify mine yet hopefully this weekend I will have time for some modifications and start looking into the older forestmen sets to see what I can come up with.

    Yes I built mine on Saturday and having built the original when I was younger this was a really nice updated version. The tree itself had some nice upgrades with the newer trunk and pieces used for branches. The figs are great. I really want to expand on this with some other builds like redoing the forestmen river fortress or the forestmen crossing.

    But why did they make the Eagle warrior and more recent jaguar warrior. Or Samurai or any vikings, pirates, or anything for that matter. You just have to take things for what they are these are not meant to be offensive. I think people are to soft nowadays and need to think outside the box a little sometimes people have tunnel vision and can't see the whole picture. On the BAM bins the one in Danbury CT does have the new Falcon torsos and the wizard.

    I'm sorry this is just sad. I can't believe this is something to get that bent out of shape about. You literally can just swap the heads it's not really that big of a deal. I've even swapped out the Shang chi red torso because it looks female to me and made a custom female fantasy fig with it. The beauty of lego is you can make it anything you want. When I was a kid there was only a handful of female figs in the castle sets from the 80's and 90's. It's your opinion and you are entitled to it I just find really sad is all I'm going to say.

    The Black falcon torso's are probably just out of stock it happens especially when they first came out. I would be willing to bet the minifig parts will show up just not till end of year because they will want people to buy the actual set. Also the Queen has a different torso than the knights you can see a different design just under the armor on the very bottom of the torso its not the same as the knights belt.

    Yes the forestman hideout is returning as GWP when this comes out in August. Yes I saw the black tree and thought that its a nod to the forestman sets of old. This set is great. I like the bardings, shields, new lion knights, animals, all the different figs are great. I really like that it folds out. The drawbridge is nice. So many nice play features. The design looks great too. The Queens shield looks fantastic. Look at all those spruce trees in dark green. The printed flags. I would like to see the Queens torso.

    If you get this the forestman hideout is a GWP when this comes out and has those shields

    Great build. I like the techniques you used and the base is just fantastic. The colors used and the building itself create an amazing visual.

    Got mine with the farm set, the goat boat, 3 build a minifig and had to grab a small baseplate to get to the threshold at my local lego store can't wait to build it this weekend.

    Great scene. I like that each building is a different style. The layout looks great with the rockwork and landscaping. The dock and boat are a nice addition to the scene. The interiors all have nice details. The figs are all different and unique making this very interesting to look at with all the activity going on. I've always like the boat hulls used as parts of buildings. The different roof techniques also stand out here and create a nice visual.

    Excellent work. I really like the towers. The base is great. I like that the build folds out so you can have access to everything inside. It's nice to have the comparison to the original.
