Can't wait to see the Wolfpack beastmaster and pirate quartermaster. Boogeyman could be interesting depending on how they depict it. -

Ordered 12 from Lego.com and got 3 Szass Tam's, 3 Dwarfs, 3 Bards, and 3 Strahd's. I also got a box of 36 from a seller on ebay that had 3 full sets. It's really hard to find the Tiefling and the Dragonborn. I keep heading to Walmart to try to get there when they put them out to pick up a few more Dragonborn. When I went to the lego store the other day I only found 1 Tiefling, there were no dragonborn and did manage to get 2 Githyanki's. The figs are great and the accessories are excellent.- 685 replies

Yes the Dragon Familiar is great really love that piece. I also hope to get that in other colors. I actually really like the halfling druid and think the hood piece is useful for other customs. Especially the dual colored cape piece. Strahd uniform is like that in the art for him. Also having a variety of heads is a good thing especially if your making several characters in the same group or faction or army. The Aarakocra wings will be great for customizing and even for statues Tasha is very useful and the torso and legs will be great for making some interesting figs. The Dragonborn is awesome and I love that torso print. Really looking forward to experimenting with all these new prints and parts and also to see what other people come up with.- 685 replies

Personally for a second CMF I would hope for some characters from Dragonlance like Tanis, Raistlin, Caramon, Sturm, Riverwind, Goldmoon, Tas, Flint, Draconians, Laurana, Gilthas, Fizban, Bupu, Kitiara, Verminarrd, Arakias, etc. Even some from Forgotton Realms like Drizzt, Geran Hulmaster, Asterion, Cattie-brie, Artemis Entreri, Jarlaxle, Rizzen, Selune, etc. Gargoyles, Shadow warriors, drow, werewolves, undead, generic vampires, would be great too. The apps work very well. If you have a lego store near you they should have them there also.- 685 replies

The crown, bow, quiver, and hairpieces are ones you can find on PAB and bricklink. The torso's and skirt/legs are custom renders. This is a render not a real image. Not sure about the heads though they may be something that was available
-
Nice can't wait to see what these look like. Thanks for the response.

Oh ok sounds interesting. I still have to pick up some of the Mouse heads. Are the others customs or from crazybricks also?
-
Aren't these heads from Crazybricks?
-
Ok good to know.

Do we know when Rivendell will retire? I still need to try and get that set. It would be nice to see sets from War of the Rohirrim but we haven't heard anything or even any rumors of sets.

Yeah unfortunately my trust with hollywood and a lot of these show runners and producers is gone. They seem to care more about themselves and not in telling good stories with good characters but I will see when the reviews start to come out whether this is worth watching or not. I still would love to get sets from Tolkiens works other than the Hobbit/LOTR. It would be nice to see some new locations and figs but these people keep destroying Tolkiens work with their own ideas instead of coming up with their own original idea's they use Tolkien's name and idea's to turn out absolute crap. There are some good art and AI out there of Tolkiens universe.
-
The Hera character does nothing in Tolkien's works unlike in this trailer so the Lore is broken big time. The war is fought by Helm and his two son's and Nephew. She has nothing to do with fighting. The watcher in the water shouldn't be there also the Mumak is unlikely to be there and the great eagle is definitely not supposed to be there. So yeah it doesn't really follow Tolkiens works.
-
The first half of the trailer looks good the second half not so much. They are taking quite a bit of liberties with the lore it looks like. I'm on the fence about this will have to wait and see

Super Mario 2025 and onwards - Rumors & Discussion
zoth33 replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Licensed
They just did Animal crossing and Sonic which have a lot of specific molds that aren't really usable in other themes. It's not like Lego has done a theme with lots of new molds and really never used them in other themes like Chima or Nexo Knights. -
Super Mario 2025 and onwards - Rumors & Discussion

I think it has more to do with Nintendo on the minifig stuff. Nintendo is insanely controlling of there IP's. Lego loves making money and knows figs would fly off the shelves so I think it's Nintendo's call about that because Nintendo does weird stuff and have made some bad moves in the past that would have made them billions and they just flat out missed the opportunity. -

The rockwork is really done well. The orange and nougat pieces with the tan and sand green look nice together. Nice use of the Nexo Knight pieces here. I like the hanging bones at the top and the rats about to be cooked is a nice detail. The figs are great. Wonderful build here.

I like the stonework especially the stairwell and the tower. Ninjago has some great figs that can be used for castle/fantasy. Very nice build.

Great looking tree did you reverse some tires to get that effect? I like the layering of the leaves, plates and croissants it creates a nice visual.
