  1. I don't know if they're leaving permanently, but in a recent video, Brent Miller (Zane's voice actor) said that the "current writer" of Ninjago was Bragi Schut, no mention of the Hagemans. Could mean they just weren't mentioned, could mean the Hagemans are gone. But, he also wrote Season 8 and 9 with the Hagemans, so at least the new writer has two seasons of prior experience this time.
  2. The end of June means the end of June. So yeah, it's tomorrow. We won't be getting it in the evenings though this time, instead of 10 am (in Australia) it's 5 pm. So.. gonna have to stay up to the very early morning if you want to catch the potato recordings, but better HD ones come out later on anyway.
  3. I think that would still be Google. It's the most popular engine search engine that would be used to get to those other services.
  4. Well, it's a vicious cycle then. Maybe moving to Netflix would be best.
  5. A new take on Ninjago would be nice at some point, unfortunate that it probably wouldn't last as long.
  6. But, how could LEGO possibly survive without.. vehicles?!
  7. I don't know if I'd say wildly popular, at one point yeah considering it came back and got a movie, but I guess there's not really anyway to judge that beyond LEGO's annual sales. Popularity-wise, I think Ninjago peaked in 2012. Fanbase is pretty small online, but I guess kids like it? Probably also more popular worldwide than the US? The half a million views on average Season 8 got in the US are a bit alarming, can't imagine pretending it doesn't exist unless a new season has come out and never having re-runs helped, but nothing else that premiers around that time did very well either, so that isn't necessarily Ninjago's fault. According to Decoded, yeah.
  8. *Realm of Madness There's also the Departed Realm, so eight. Exactly half.
  9. Tommy Andreasen's said Ninjago has "a bright future", so there could be more beyond whatever comes in 2019. Imo I'd give it at least 2 more years, which could potentially be four waves. But as for the TV show, I wonder with the apparent budget increase that at some point they'd decide (if the decision hasn't already been made considering whatever comes next has already started production at this point) that it'd make more sense to just make 44 minute specials.
  10. It's like True Potential. He realized his friends remembered him and he unlocked the power.
  11. If they wanted to use Koko they could becauae the figure exists. If they wanted to create their own Misa-KoKo fusion then they could still do it, just don't make it a mini-figure until later.
  12. No, they don't use Elemental Dragons and Airjitzu because the writers don't want them to.
  13. Only 8 and 9 are supposed to create a 20 episode arc. This ends by the end of 9's final episode. There already is a Misako mini-figure. The creators really like putting themselves in awkward situations.
  14. Then Jay's secretly Wu's son because they have the same hairstyles.
  15. A lady that probably died when Wu and Garmadon were very young considering she's never been mentioned before.
  16. I thought they were called the "Dragon Keepers"
  17. I’m sure they’ll eventually get taken down, but the issue is that many of the show’s most die-hard fans will have already seen them and watched them on YouTube the day they came out - just look at Eurobricks, where there was a discussion on each episode immediately after release. Will some people who participated in the discussion see it again when it airs? Probably. Will everyone? Definitely not - there’s at least a substantial number of viewers who will have been satisfied watching the first time around. As to how big of an issue it actually is, I’m not sure - this happens every season to little effect, but the fact that TA actually retweeted it and drew it to everyone’s attention means at least he is concerned about it, which is a little worrying. I'm not really sure why he would be concerned about it, by all accounts it really shouldn't be that big of an issue. If Ninjago's doing well enough to have continued this long, the amount of fans who don't watch it because they'd already seen it aren't going to be enough to cause it to be cancelled. And the franchise is the sets first and foremost anyway (or at least, I'm pretty sure that's how this works) so everything should be fine. As long as the show isn't terrible enough that it wouldn't be worth continuing if the sets can apparently sell on their own, but at the point, fans watching the early releases of the episodes wouldn't be the cause of that, nor could they have been enough to save it. If the show does do less than satisfactory on cable, there are plenty of factors that cause that, but it isn't because of the recordings on YouTube.
  18. I'm sure calling him Golden Master when another such character going by the title already exists won't be confusing at all.. The Master of the Dragons part is just attached to that particular set, it seems that his main title is "Golden Master".
  19. I'm sure that he was called that in official material that predates that project.. like, in the movie itself he's called Chen. The voice actor who played him is credited as "Chen". If you look up "Chen the Cheerleader" you see him. How could every source up to now have got it wrong?
  20. Yeah, but in the movie, his name was Chen. Chen the Cheerleader.
  21. Hey.. isn't that the Cheerleader guy? Wasn't his name Chen?
  22. Uh.. the purple ooze is gone? Can't really tell the difference
  23. I wonder what the dragons the ninja have this season are. Elemental Dragons aren't a thing anymore.
  24. So Nya doesn't have a Dragon Flyer?
