The masks just look clunky and awkward right now, imo.

Finally, actual new stuff. Those new masks look really weird, but kinda like a fusion of the 2011 and 2015-2017 ones. They'll take getting used to. Maybe they'll look better in animation. Cole looks very ninja-like (gonna miss the "sun's out, guns out" look), Nya looks like a fine mix of colors but I preferred the grey giving her a unique color. Wu's new gi is a slightly more detailed/tattered version of his original one in the sets, interesting it has letters from the Ninjagan language on it now instead of with Chinese kanji. It looks like it spells "master".

I'd suggest it was a redesigned humanized version of Garmadon, but probably unlikely they'd do that again..

I read something about the new villain having Movie Cole's man-bun hairpiece but with a red band. Did anyone see that?

Odd that Nya's suit is maroon and blue, but her spinner's white and blue.. or maybe the spinners will have different suits, like always. Then.. Nya has two different colors in one wave? They do look cool though. Kinda hoped they'd be a bit more like the classic ones

They are remakes, and the suits are for the four-episode special. We have no idea what the plot that ties the sets together is.

Overlord looks cool.

Maybe they're not just remakes, but some kind of re-imagining to fit into the current story, considering they also have their new faces? Overlord didn't have a ghost tail and four arms in Season 2 either. But I really don't know how (if at all) all of it fits into the four-episode special.. Kruncha, Nuckal and the Skulkin are back Pythor, with the Serpentine, who are villains again apparently The Overlord is back with the Stone Army Lloyd regains the Golden Power Dead Ultra Dragon returns to life ..and Oni, who are nowhere to be seen in this wave.

Weird that Zane's suit looks so much like Kai and Nya's in Season 8. As far as we know, 2019 continues the story, so most likely not.

Oh cool. Is it visible which designs the Ninja have? As in, Movie onwards, or original?

I think the decision to kill Mr. E came after deciding he wasn't Echo, and he no longer had a purpose.

I mean, you can assume that, or you can look at what he said a bit more closely.. "If". If they had. They scrapped the storyline, so he isn't. Echo Zane is Echo Zane, Mr. E is dead. Completely separate.

Well, Ninja was a subtheme of Castle, and is related to Ninjago, so.. does that technically even if Ninjago was canceled, if there was a new Castle theme, it would technically still be going?
