  1. The tail is getting replaced with a different color, no doubt Yeah, I'm thinking red too. What areas? I'll try to fix them up. The fuselage can't be fixed as it is full of mechanism, but I can move the engines
  2. UPDATE TIME! The plane itself is done. I just have to add color to it now. I think I'm gonna add some red or orange. WHICH COLOR SHOULD I ADD? Here are the pictures: The rear was fixed up: I went from wing setup 1 to wing setup 2 (see above post) Pilot's seats n stuff added: Please leave your comments and criticism as I will add some more stuff on Friday (School's starting). I hope to hear from you! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  3. Welcome to eurobricks, All About Lego! Saw this on youtube and it is awesome!
  4. @Seasider Please answer: wing profile 1 or 2: which is better? Also if you are not seasider and are reading this, which is better?
  5. The wing is missing the crank Thanks for making me realize that. Does that have a role in the "misshaping" of the wings? Thanks alot! I'm glad you are interested in the project. Aircraft are lots of fun to build. I'm thinking of going back after the plane is done and adding some colour. I don't want to worry about that for now, so I'm putting it off. I want to avoid stickers.
  6. I'm not sure I agree, but I will try it and see how it looks. In the case the not-as-swept wings look better, I'll also try to effectuate the rest of what you said. Your tips are appreciated
  7. Thank you so much! I didn't even see that the cockpit looked evil... now that you mention it, it really does I think I'm just gonna go with that explanation... Thanks a lot! And I completely forgot about the 40th liftarms, thanks for reminding me! Unfortunately, I only have 1...
  8. Proper tail- yes, definitely. I think system may come in handy. Passenger seats- there's only room for pilot seats, which I have added- no more due to all the mechanism in the fuselage. Stickers for windows- if I can. If not this will be a cargo edition I will try though, because it seems this really needs stickers. Possibly stickers. No actual windows, unless you want to see the innards of the plane
  9. You're completely right, I was thinking of this myself. I want to add all the plane stuff, then add some color.
  10. True. In that case the airport catering truck fits the collection, too. Update time! So I needed to get the back done before adding jet engines and outer system details. So that's what I did. The rudder is connected to the ailerons, as it needs to be, and the elevator function is added, but no actual elevators yet. The tail needs to be reinforced: This time, I tried especially to get the tapering in the rear right, as @Jeroen Ottens said that the tapering didn't work in the previous plane. How does it look? The landing gear will not be gears at the end of the build. The wings were also patched up a but: Here's a top profile. How is it looking? The may be the last update before completion. Please answer these questions: 1. How does the back look? 2. How is the wing/ body ratio? 3. Are the wings too far in front? Thank you!
  11. Very nice, Welcome to Eurorbicks! I saw this on youtube nearly a year ago so it's nice to see you here
  12. This is cool, but what's the wacky function?
  13. Seems like the wacky functions is a little useless considering the wheels extend farther sideways than the push-thing. Might wanna change that?
  14. Thank you! Take your time, I fiddled with 42043 for a week before starting this ;) Thank you so much! This plane is rather different. The problem for the interior is all the mechanism inside. System can't save the inside, but some will end up outside Thanks I guess, but it isn't at the same scale. To be @Superkoala 's scale it would have to be 3 metres long. This plane is bordering 70cm.
  15. Man, this is genius. I didn't see a tracked vehicle out of a vehicle featuring the biggest wheels.
  16. Wow. Nicely done, certainly very redneck. Why are the tires on backwards?
  17. PM me. Also congratulations on becoming count @I_Igor
  18. Well, It's update time! So I added the other wing, along with the ailerons. I also started to finish up the front. The wingspan is 89 studs. Here's what I have: Hopefully I can get this done in the next 3 days (excluding video) so that I can start my TC12 entry. I have my idea :)
  19. This looks good so far, but it is done? Or do you plan on improving based on feedback?
  20. Interesting concept! Could you make the pictures bigger? They are tiny right now.
  21. I'm mostly a Technic person (as you may see from my display name) but this is really cool. I love how you make everything seem so official. In fact, I was under the impression that this was an official LEGO series! The MOC/Set is really nice. I love what you did with the wheels of the car. And you added in some smaller bad guy build to pair with it, which made the seem 100% official. The storyline is also quite interesting. I can't wait to see more.
  22. I personally think both should qualify as scale models since they are both scale models in the end. Scale modeling is not defined by size or function, rather accuracy to a real-life vehicle. Edit: Eurobricks is for all AFOLs, regardless of skill. Barring out a portion of scale modeling (the bottom in this case) will greatly reduce the diversity of the SMF. It would become an elite club for the same few people (the people who build those gigantic, beautiful models) with an occasional newcomer. I hope what I am saying makes sense.
  23. The previous plane, or the side loading trailer? BTW, the trailer failed epically. I will try to at least put some pilot space. Also, school is starting.
  24. My first plane was a success (for the most part). It had most of the functionality I wanted it to have, though it lacked in terms of looks. The wings were just the worst thing, and there was no flow to the body, which was full of illegal connections. So I want to fix those problems, but in a different plane. First was a Gulfstream Private jet, now I present to you the passenger airplane. Now the big thing on this jet will be the wings, because the Jet engines will be on the wing, unlike my last plane. Function list: -Ailerons -Elevators -Rudder, coupled with ailerons -Landing gear with suspension system -Opening doors -Airbrakes -Working jet engines (though this will be more than unlikely) Pictures: 1 wing with part of fuselage. Wing uses beams with axles rather than just axles. It can hold itself up. Elastic band suspension system on the landing gear mounts. 2 mini LA's. So that;s it. Update tomorrow. Hopefully, I can finish this by Tuesday, because Tuesday onward I can only build on weekends. Have a nice day!
