  1. Sorry for going offtopic here, But how do you do that? I have GIMP for pictures myself. Thanks!
  2. Thank you! I do plan to restore the original PTO setup since the attachment I'm doing with the leftover pieces will have to attach there to ensure good weight distribution. The rear lights don't bend pieces (they're attached to "hinges") but I'm looking into a better solution.
  3. That's normally how I go about doing this too. I went out on a limb by starting 3 projects at the same time, not gonna do so in the future.
  4. Yeah... this is a good lesson in time management for me: don't pile projects on top your contest entry. Do that first, then go on to the other stuff.
  5. This is awesome! What editing software did you use to make those pictures? (different-color ones)
  6. Dropping out. TBH I ran out any sort of inspiration to finish this because it put a 3-week backlog on anything I wanted to build. I had to temporarily abandon the Saddletrac I'm now building and the supercar chassis... good luck to all
  7. Oooohhh... looks good! Also an interesting idea! From just the leftover pieces from the set, I'm building a lawn mower attachment. I will build the (cool) attachment (one of your suggestions) from other pieces. There were only about 700 pieces left after finishing the tractor part.
  8. Quick update: I've been making quick modifications as I go about building other things I added some reinforcement, so now the roof module is sturdy and the chassis is much stronger. As well, I changed up the steering gear, which reduced delay in rear wheels.
  9. UPDATE TIME! The actual tractor is done. Anyone have attachment ideas? If you're wondering about the HOG steering knob, it seems like the trailer hitch is behind the HOG wheel. Check the above post and confirm this if you can. Pictures: Here's the rear: The black thing is supposed to be the 3 point hitch... how does it look? Raised. Now, the big question: is the trailer hitch point where the finger is pointing? Thanks for your answer! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  10. Using children to stop racers to bump into you... Very nicely done
  11. The place to hook up the trailer seems to be behind my steering knob location. Can you confirm this based on the picture?
  12. That's a toughie considering I don't know either of you you i guess?
  13. Not bad! LBG rim-tires are much better.
  14. Haha! I guess that fact makes your function perfect for this car Amazing build. Congrats.
  15. You mean steering knob? Yes, I will figure out a solution for that
  16. Looks like some sort of spider-vehicle! The name should do with spiders, try adding some leg details.
  17. Here's a quick picture demonstrating BB replacement. Note: It's really easy. The cab is attached by 2 pins and is super securely fastened to the chassis.
  18. Same here! There's been some really great entries (all of them).
  19. Just the 3 steering modes. All else was changed because the BB needed to be lowered. Nope. Yeah, getting to figure that out. I didn't understand your comment. What is a Noirex 0005 SAALC? Couldn't find a picture.
  20. There is already a beautiful saddletrac MOC which was built by @efferman but I wanted to build a saddletrac using only pieces from the 42054 set. Here are the function: -3 steering modes -2 PTOs (1 top, 1 back & front) -attachments, currently undecided Here's what I've got so far: I did the front first specifically so I could ration DBG pieces. If you have any attachment ideas or constructive criticism, please leave a comment. Thanks! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  21. For steering wheels, I would say it could work. With the chassis, u-joints would pop out due to the resistance in the system, because all 4 wheels were steering (friction) and about 10 gears were involved.
  22. I was originally using an extremely similar technique in my supercar chassis, but it didn't work out. Rather than steering, the u-joints leading up to the rear wheels would pop out. Maybe I used it wrong, but I don't know
