He is, and has been for quite some time. It‘s not yet time to write the set off, but it‘s far from a good sign -

For DC, it‘s apparently the latter Let‘s hope the hint was literal for the Marvel side of things! -

According to exabricks, the Arkham D2C may be delayed or cancelled The DC theme just can‘t catch a break, can it. -

Indeed. Gambledore appeared in 6/8 movies, yet has only had 2 minifigs in the reboot! Harris did a great job, but when I think Dumbledore, I think of Gambon‘s portrayal. The tower being based on GoF or PoA would also be acceptable, if purely for that reason -

Could you imagine? Spider-verse, Raimi, and PS sets all in the same year would be pretty mindblowing I‘m more expecting a comic version though. -

Let‘s not jump to conclusions, for all we know he could be included in a regular playset -

Exabricks is hinting at a Mr Negative minifig! Wonder if this means more comic-based sets or even a game tie-in?! -

Something more on-topic: Yesterday, I built the new Grogu set and found one of the strangest extra pieces I‘ve ever had in a set, and I have seen plenty of weird ones in my day I got an extra Grogu head! I doubt it has been turned into a standard extra piece, so I got pretty lucky I guess -

Agreed. Brickmerge also has no entries for these numbers, so it‘s very unlikely they exist -

Yeah. The idea was brought up as a worst-case scenario, me and others were arguing against it, and then it spiraled into discussing what themes are based on book adaptations Some people then thought the SM2 set was actually rumoured to be a book nook, which it isn‘t. -

Or one of the worst offenses: crushing Chewy with a moon only like 5 years after ROTJ. They couldn‘t touch the big three, but Chewy got the axe? Boooooo That said, I feel we’re veering too far off-topic again, and I’m not helping Before the Rancor devours us all, we need to get back on track -

SW fans are just impossible to please anyway. Add someone like Carson Teva to Mando and TBoBF and fans are like „why is he everywhere, it makes the galaxy feel small“ and if he doesn‘t show up in SC they go „why wasn‘t he there?!“ Speaking of which, Teva needs to show up in a set at some point! Fingers crossed for M&G next year Just enjoy what you enjoy and let others enjoy what they do. It ain‘t rocket science Some people actually try to argue that Legends lore was more consistent. LEGENDS. Where they had like 5 conflicting stories how the DS plans were stolen and they haphazardly tried to make it make sense by claiming each party only stole a part of the plans Where authors killed each other’s creations out of spite. Where we had like 5 layers of canon in case of contradictions, which were a dime a dozen. Or the ridiculous super weapons that kept popping up. Or Luuke. Or Luke falling the dark side, wearing a silly evillllll Megamind-esque collar. Or Abeloth. Or the Vong. Or red Kyber crystals being artificial, meaning red lightsabers easily could have been mass-produced. Or letting authors with a Mandalorian fetish portray them as the best thing ever created and besting the Jedi in every way. Or having 50+ people survive Order 66. I could go on, but you get the point -

Wow, you mean I could‘ve been paid all this time?? Where do I apply? That ship has long sailed, I‘m afraid. The best we can hope for is a Qimir minifig for the 30th anniversary of LSW -

Oh, I have met younger people who refuse to watch anything that came out before the year 2000. Heck, some consider LOTR to be too old for them to enjoy Horrifying attitude, and I weep for these people. Just saying, there are people who grew up watching TCW for instance that outright refuse to watch the OT. As fans, we‘re in a bit of a bubble. -

I fully understand why remakes exist, I usually only harp on the ones that don‘t even try to have anything special in them Most remakes have at least something new about them, be it a minifig, a sidebuild, improved building techniques, new colour schemes, or even just a poncho I don‘t mind remakes as long as they have something worthwhile for us longterm collectors, as insignificant as it may be ^^ Btw, after finishing Skeleton Crew, I‘m really disappointed with SM-33 having been omitted from the Onyx Cinder. He‘s become one of my favourite droid characters and it looks like this was our one chance to get him -

Fair point, I completely forgot how prominent the building was in the TASM movies If I ever need to insult the Daily Bugle or JJJ, I will use this from now on -

To be honest, I‘m a ST fan and I‘m fine because of how well they‘ve covered the three movies before It took us ages for the OT and PT to be represented as greatly as the ST was from the getgo. Apart from a few side characters (BABU FRIK) and ship variants (TIE Whisper), they‘ve pretty much done everything I wanted, especially with Palpy coming in the new encyclopedia soon. I‘d absolutely like to see more, but I‘m not devastated with the current situation -

The OT is the foundation, yes, but I assure you there are plenty of SW fans out there that don‘t care for it one iota It‘s such a vast franchise now that some fan groups only care about a very specific era or even just some of the shows and movies within those eras, and that‘s all valid! That‘s not a counterargument against having OT sets on shelves, I’m arguing for all parts of SW to be treated equally -

I‘d argue the Bugle is far less obscure. Sure, on the surface, the set is an office building with red letters on top and a bunch of Spidey figures. However, it‘s Peter‘s workplace and „home“ to JJJ, arguably one of the most iconic Marvel civilians. The location, albeit with a different design, also features prominently in the Raimi trilogy Oscorp is Gobbie‘s HQ and where the spider bit Peter, and that‘s about it -

At this point, we don‘t even know if we‘re getting a D2C set this year in the first place And if we do, they may throw us a curveball and release something like a UCS-style Quinjet Oscorp Tower and the Baxter Building are far more obscure to the average customer than any of the previous Marvel D2C sets. -

This guy again. Can we finally just ignore him? Even if there was something to this „rumour“, providing only emojis which could be interpreted in multiple ways, so you can always claim in hindsight that you were right, is just lazy.
