Yes, it‘d be a different version, but if I had to choose between a less detailed version of a character we had as a CMF before, and an new character altogether, I know what I‘d pick Sure, I’m not saying every character needs that, but they probably wouldn‘t even reuse the CMF hood piece and weapons, which would make it a pretty big downgrade in my eyes And those elements would also work for a comic version of him, no?

I‘m talking purely about the minifigs as such. You just know a comic-based version would have unprinted legs and likely the regular old hood piece

More like an inferior version of Moon Knight Yeah, a comic-based version would be new, but it‘d pale so badly in comparison to the CMF figure. Indeed, about time they take full advantage of that! I do wish they‘d be a bit more consistent with them, rather than having an odd mixture of Spider-verse and comic-based locations that are supposedly compatible. Granted, they previously had a non-MCU expansion set to an MCU Hall of Armours, so that ideas‘s not unprecedented, but it’s still a bit odd. August. Yesterday, I would’ve agreed, but the Iron Man 2 set lost all of its appeal to me with the drones being brick-built rather than minifigs. Gonna be some clunky oversized monstrosities

The more I think about the „understandably being kept secret“ part, the less sense it makes. There‘s nothing new coming out beside Andor, and even if there was a second season of RTG, why would a set based on it be a secret? Last year‘s RTG sets were leaked alongside the rest, well before we even knew RTG was a thing! It’s probably just a purposefully vague hint to spark some discussions I compared it to the 1984 hint before, but it‘s more like the young Leia hints that sent us on a wild goose chase and bent ourselves into pretzels, trying to make sense of them.

I was a bit sceptical about that rumour since it A) came from an anonymous source on the Discord server (I think?) and B) we also only got one Spider-verse set. It’s disappointing nonetheless The Raimi set we DO get better be amazing then!

He‘s not on the current list of figures, hence the uncertainty 2025 looks pretty weak in that regard too. 2024 brought back Jabba and his entourage, plus Skiff Guard Lando, and Super Battle Droids, which is a lot more impressive!

So, based on what we know, this is the list of confirmed new characters / trooper types for 2025: 327th CT, Galactic Marine, Double Death Trooper. Bly, Bacara, a CIS higher-up, and Dedra may follow. Less than 10 new characters / trooper types in a year is bleak 2024 had more than 30, 2023 and 2022 both around 20, and 2021 around 15. New characters isn‘t the only metric to judge a year by, but this has to be a new negative record

Are we sure the Batman Forever set is just the Batmobile now, rather than a Batcave with a Batmobile? I mean, I absolutely believe they would release a $100 Batmobile, but there might be something lost in translation

Kind of a mixed bag for me. The train being the only Raimi set is a big letdown and the Infinity Saga sets sound boring, except for the Hammer drones, which we‘ve never had before! Then there‘s the Endgame set. How many of these will they crank out?! Also, what is Iron Patriot doing here, shouldn‘t it be Rescue? On the other hand, Oscorp and the apartment set sound great!

Same source that claimed 75433 is a ship, I think! The most likely option is a BB-8 remake, in my opinion. The last one (which started the current trend) is already more than 7 years old, and with the anniversary of TFA, it would only make sense Either that or a B1.

We already have Belle and Gaston, but having the entire castle with Beast and the enchanted staff would be great! …unless it‘s a minidoll set. But at that price point, I fully expect minifigs.

Allegedly, there is gonna be a $300 D2C set in April (43263). Some leakers think it could be Beast’s castle (source: a.clay.brick)

Yes, there‘s one unknown playset still. All we know about it is that we shouldn‘t expect much out of it Fair enough. It would still make more sense than a CTT at that price point, but if the RTG rumour is true, it could be something else entirely

Unless it‘s one of the smaller ones, like the one seen in Mando That can now sadly be ruled out thanks to the RTG rumours, but it‘d be one way to do a TT at that price. Or maybe the TT rumour was bogus all along and it‘s something else actually from the first season of RTG Gimme Jedi Palpy!

Please no. The Venom movies are watchable to me, but that‘s about it. No need for sets based on the SUCC when they have the MCU, Raimi movies, TASM, and Spider-verse to choose from!
