  1. Since the minifig list likely won’t be that exciting, I was wondering what new animals or creatures we can expect this summer With the new long-fur cat piece we could finally see a proper Crookshanks! Ripper is pretty much a given. We already have a bulldog piece (two, if you count the French breed), but it’s still a neat addition! Fingers crossed for a new owl colour! I also wouldn‘t mind to see the dark tan smowl introduced last year in a Friends set. Curiously, it‘s not friendsified at all and could thus easily reappear here If the Monster Book of Monsters is a Polly-Pocket-style playset rather than a display model, we could get some (brick-built?) creatures this way! A „full-body“ Mandrake could be interesting! Some have suggested the Dreamling piece, and even though it‘s pretty oversized for that, it‘s a distinct possibility.
  2. Idk, it‘s just hard for me to get excited over hobbits with very little screentime when we could finally get characters we‘ve been aching to see, like Eowyn or the Witch-King of Angmar It‘s a great idea to revisit the Shire, don‘t get me wrong, but I‘d rather have had Minas Tirith / The Battle of the Pelennor Fields first, and Bag End after that
  3. That is indeed rather odd, even more so considering it‘s not only the sole helmet, but the only SW set in general released in March Also, this may be the first ever „uncancelled“ set! Unless they redesigned it entirely from scratch, making it a new set technically. Edit: And the UT-AT would be the second „uncancelled“ set then! Although that one‘s definitely a completely new model, given how long ago the cancelled one was supposed to hit shelves.
  4. [insert the Mr Krabs „how do we tell him“ meme that is applicable so frequently in this thread, sadly] The chance is actually 0%, if you mean this year. All the leakers have confirmed there‘s nothing coming, and we know all the retail set numbers
  5. What the selection lacks in quantity, it more than makes up for in quality Sauron alone is worth the price of admission for me.
  6. I assume there‘s a D2C set coming, but we haven‘t heard anything yet. No set number, no release date, nothing. The only reason to think there even is one in the first place is that they‘ve been a yearly occurrence, but there‘s no guarantee
  7. I‘m looking forward to the Bag End set, but the minifig selection is gonna pale in comparison to the last two sets no matter what they do, and not just because the set is half the price A bunch of hobbits (and Gandalf, likely) isn‘t much to write home about in my opinion. I‘m glad to finally have old Bilbo (as opposed to ancient Bilbo from Rivendell), but I‘m not really that excited about any of the minor hobbit characters.
  8. Because it‘s a D2C set, and those tend to leak a lot closer to release than regular retail sets Ironically, it‘s one of the first if not the first 2025 D2C set we heard about last year.
  9. Those two absolutely need to be included!! Biggest missed opportunity in the original theme, and now they finally have the chance to rectify that
  10. It does! Still one of my favourite Sonic sets, but it has a pretty big weakspot, namely Eggman/Robotnik. The brickbuilt version looks supremely silly (especially the head), and it‘s even worse when put next to the figure from the actual theme
  11. Surreal to have this and PotC in the same year! Can‘t wait to see more!!
  12. More like minus two sets! For every new DCU movie, they cancel two planned sets Seriously though, I expect nothing to tie in with that, not even a mech. Heck, I‘d be surprised if the theme is still around by the time The Batman II gets released
  13. That‘d be amazing. The pirates were such a cool faction, both in Mando S3 and SC! Too bad all we got so far was the snubfighter. Gorian Shard, Brutus, Gunther and others would make for great minifigs! But yeah, not having high hopes. Ahsoka was the only show so far besides Mando to get sets beyond the initial wave, and SC sadly wasn‘t popular enough to warrant more sets in TLG‘s eyes. It‘s a real shame, because the show was received so well!
  14. Come on, we all know that was part of his paper-thin disguise to try and fool us into thinking he wasn‘t Turtle „I‘ll speak in the same weird riddles, use the same idioms, post the same nonsense, but if I say I like Soup, they‘ll never catch on!!“, must‘ve been his thinking
  15. I have to say, this is one of the better-made fake „leaks“ we‘ve seen so far! If it was posted by a reliable leaker (rather than someone with „misinform“ in their username, ha ha very clever ), I likely would‘ve fallen for it. We‘ve had plenty of mix-ups before, but this would be a pretty big one. Hopefully we get more clarification soon!
  16. I actually like the idea of a Schumacher Arkham! …as long as all the villains are included I‘d rather they release regular playsets instead of a $400 D2C set, but it is what it is.
  17. Brutus is a Shistavanen tho, not a Defel Either way, we need a minifig of his! And SM-33. And Kh‘ymm.
  18. Yes, it‘d be a different version, but if I had to choose between a less detailed version of a character we had as a CMF before, and an new character altogether, I know what I‘d pick Sure, I’m not saying every character needs that, but they probably wouldn‘t even reuse the CMF hood piece and weapons, which would make it a pretty big downgrade in my eyes And those elements would also work for a comic version of him, no?
  19. I‘m talking purely about the minifigs as such. You just know a comic-based version would have unprinted legs and likely the regular old hood piece
  20. More like an inferior version of Moon Knight Yeah, a comic-based version would be new, but it‘d pale so badly in comparison to the CMF figure. Indeed, about time they take full advantage of that! I do wish they‘d be a bit more consistent with them, rather than having an odd mixture of Spider-verse and comic-based locations that are supposedly compatible. Granted, they previously had a non-MCU expansion set to an MCU Hall of Armours, so that ideas‘s not unprecedented, but it’s still a bit odd. August. Yesterday, I would’ve agreed, but the Iron Man 2 set lost all of its appeal to me with the drones being brick-built rather than minifigs. Gonna be some clunky oversized monstrosities
  21. The more I think about the „understandably being kept secret“ part, the less sense it makes. There‘s nothing new coming out beside Andor, and even if there was a second season of RTG, why would a set based on it be a secret? Last year‘s RTG sets were leaked alongside the rest, well before we even knew RTG was a thing! It’s probably just a purposefully vague hint to spark some discussions I compared it to the 1984 hint before, but it‘s more like the young Leia hints that sent us on a wild goose chase and bent ourselves into pretzels, trying to make sense of them.
  22. A $100 Batmobile with only one minifig?! Just end the theme already, what are we even doing here
  23. Lame. So there‘s basically nothing new in that set And I‘m not expecting anything exciting in the Oscorp set either. The minifigs are probably something like Gobbie, Norman (kitbashed), Harry (kitbashed), Venom, Peter, Spidey, May, and maybe MJ
  24. I was a bit sceptical about that rumour since it A) came from an anonymous source on the Discord server (I think?) and B) we also only got one Spider-verse set. It’s disappointing nonetheless The Raimi set we DO get better be amazing then!
  25. He‘s not on the current list of figures, hence the uncertainty 2025 looks pretty weak in that regard too. 2024 brought back Jabba and his entourage, plus Skiff Guard Lando, and Super Battle Droids, which is a lot more impressive!
