I think a ringwraith can be ruled out as a minifig in the Bag End set. They never make it that far, and it would kinda ruin the wholesome cozy atmosphere of the Shire that the set will likely go for Always? It happened exactly once I know what you mean, but Bag End isn‘t the set to do it I think. Personally, I‘m more looking forward to the book nook. Not my preferred format as I‘d rather have a regular diorama, but as long as the Balrog looks good, this will be an awesome set!

Redd is near the top of my wishlist! Paintings and statues would also go really well with a museum set So much potential here! As long as TLG can actually use the artwork, that is. The only roadblock I see if If they have to ask permission or pay a fee for every piece of art. Not sure how it worked in the game… Unless it‘s all squarely in the public domain. They collaborated with the MOMA for the Starry Night Ideas set for instance, but I don‘t know if that was a voluntary or mandatory arrangement.

D2C sets both leak and get official reveals much closer to their release dates though. I wouldn‘t expect any major leaks before early March That would be awfully low for the price. Even the 2012 playset had 6 minifigs!

It‘s kinda hilarious how they included Morbius and Kraven in sets one year after the respective cinematic masterpieces dropped, yet they entirely skipped Madame Web A comic-inspired version could‘ve been an interesting inclusion! Certainly better than the 50th identical Venom Hopefully Gobbie is a new variant, the rest (bar Kraven) will certainly be the same minifigs as before, and Norman I expect to be kitbashed.

Not necessarily. Sure, new complex pieces often end up in large sets, but there are plenty of smaller sets with new pieces too. Just look at the 4+ Spidey sets, two of them feature brand-new dinos, and those require expensive moulds! Well, if it‘s only partially based on PS, the other film would have to be CoS since the main characters only have short legs to represent the first two movies I doubt they’d mix characters from different „eras“ , e.g., a short-legged Harry with Gambledore. Sure, they could include multiple Harrys to avoid such anachronisms, but so far they‘ve done only that for D2C sets

Prelims don‘t leak that early (except for the survey leak, but I’m certain that won‘t happen again anytime soon), and nobody would confuse a $1000 Death Star with 40 minifigs for a $160 playset with 7 minifigs, preliminary as the design may be Agreed, but if it truly is a regular UCS set, I wonder why it‘s not a D2C set while the Slave One and Death Star are (and we know it’s not due to the release date; a D2C set would be available to retailers at a later point). Maybe they’re launching a new subtheme of sorts with non-D2C UCS sets, but what would be the point? Just a deal with the retailers?

Same issue. I have space for everything coming out this year, including new themes like One Piece, except for the Death Star and the Enterprise I need to figure out how to rearrange things since I expect both of them to be rather unwieldy models.

Thank you for confirming it! I still think Minas Tirith is a likely candidate for 2026, but we shouldn‘t rule out other possibilities like Edoras, Orthanc, or Helm‘s Deep. That said, the things on the top of my personal wishlist are the Witch-King, Eowyn, and Mûmakils, so the sooner we can get a Minas Tirith/Battle of the Pelennor Fields set, the better Everything after that is a bonus.

Having an 18+ vehicle that‘s neither a D2C nor a UCS set is indeed rather strange While I‘m still expecting it to be a remake of the 2006 model, I agree there‘s a slight possibility it could be a new type of set (like a large-scale diorama, as you suggest).

Who says they won‘t do a Flying Dutchman at some point if the Black Pearl does well? Not sure why they‘re releasing it this year, but I couldn‘t be happier about it! All of my favourite theme from the late 2000‘s / early 2010‘s had a comeback recently, first HP, then LotR, Indy, and now PotC So many gaps we can finally close!

Couldn‘t agree more! It‘s always such a delight when they capture likenesses this well Jack Black was well overdue for a minifig, but there are still so many famous actors who never had one! And the final March set has also leaked! The parrot houses look adorable, and I‘m glad they included not only four parrots, but also a dancing play feature for them! Too bad there‘s only one new colour for them, but I‘ll take it ^^

@TandNbricks is indeed very reliable, but this could also be just an observation, not necessarily a hint It‘s indeed interesting that the map shows all of the previous sets, but it also features Orthanc, which hasn‘t been remade (yet). Cautiously optimistic, but this is more speculation than a rumour ^^

The only potentially interesting thing about the Slave I playset is gonna be the Kaminoan. If it‘s Lama Su, that is. Given their weird choices this year, I wouldn‘t be surprised to see Taun We again, meaning you end up with two Taun Wes if you wanna recreate the chase scene
